Hillcrest Berry Orchards is 1 van ons geliefde plekke in die Kaap en ons bring altyd binnelandse vriende hierheen wat nognie daar was nie...die beste skons en konfyt...ons weet nie van 'n ander plek wat sulke lekker skons maak nie...die staf is altyd baie vriendelik en die diens flink al is dit besig....dis ook 'n lekker stop so tussen al die wynproe...julle sien ons beslis weer in 2018 ��
It's a place that just takes you away. I can sit there for hours and just enjoy the nature around me. The tranquillity hidden in this gem should be experienced on a regular basis. The staff are immensely welcome, friendly and efficient. We will be back and as regularly as we can.
Hands-down thé best scones anywhere! The view ain't half bad either. ;)
It's a bit of a drive, but it's completely worth it.
What a glorious gem! Comfortable chalet with all the extra touches of warmth! Beautiful ambience - excellent service - lovely food at restaurant with attentive staff! I'm recommending you to all I know!
What a beautiful venue. We just stopped for a coffee milkshake lunch but sitting on the patio with an up close view of the majestic mountains was breathtaking. We also took home a selection of their locally made jams. Well worth a visit.
Location fabulous, food delicious, but the occasion was let down by the very poor & slow service.
With waitresses preferring to stand in groups & chat whilst on their mobile phones instead of serving their guests, plus the fact that we had to go and ask for our bill, as no one came to check on our table , our lunch turned out not the good event we had hoped it would be.
Just tried their new jam , a mixture if strawberry and cranberry abd have to say it's delicious. I just bought one to try but will certainly buy more on our next visit .

Went for breakfast before starting wine farm tours. The scones were delicious as were the jams. Sat right next to a mulberry tree and helped ourselves to the plentiful fruit too
This place is amazing. The dining hall has a bit of a vintage touch. The home maid canned fruits always drives me crazy. Their breakfast, meals even the cream is evoking my icecream cravings plus I love food
I love the jam, scones and tea.
The atmosphere is peaceful. The views are stunning.
The owner came to our table and gave gifts to my grandchildren

I wish I could start off every morning with a breakfast or even just scones at this hidden gem! We spent a few hours here and did not want to leave. The peaceful atmosphere, cozy fireplace, breathtaking view, friendly staff and of course, the most delicious foods kept us from glancing at our phones or watches, making us feel as though we were frozen in time. Thank you to everyone who was a part of our 5 atar experience.
I did not get the waitress' name who served us, but I just loved her thoughtfulness and initiative to bring us extra cuttlery and glasses when she heard that some of us will be sharing meals. This made us feel right at home.

Variety of foods to choose from. Ice must be a commodity as there were non available. Warm atmosphere, cold and forgetful waitresses. Loved the view from the restaurant. Enjoyed buying from the shop. Will however not be back. Maybe if they change the waitresses cold attitudes, I might have referred friends.
Food setting and shop amazing. Can't say we had the friendliest waitress. Felt she was having a bad day. The rest of the staff where lovely and made up for her unfriendly attitude.
Business partner outing. Food was well prepared and delicious. Hillcrest Berries shop ensures that you can take away jams, preserves, biscuits, croissants and so much more. Well worth a visit 🤗 the views of Helshoogte is spectacular 🤩
The service is not the best, and everytime I go I remember that the service is not the best.
But I just keep going back.

Best experience, an awesome views and environment, best food, dessert and drinks... Feels like heaven and I can't wait for my next experience there. Surely it was designed for natural, exotic and romantic vacation.
We stopped for the best scones and jam. The seafood chowder was disappointing - it was supposed to be topped with prawns but there was no prawns and the seafood was lacking - it was just a chowder with no seafood. The chicken burger and chips were delicious. Lovely country farm vibe. Our waitress was so friendly. Parking outside the restaurant. Beautiful views. The store has a huge selection of delicious jams.
Visited their coffee shop. Service was great as always. Cosy atmosphere and the nice little fireplace makes it very pleasant. Scones was absolutely delicious as always and the view is great
You need to stop here and eat something, because the food is nothing less than delicious. No Excuses! :) (Give the staff an extra tip! They run this place very well)
