Stunning place and outdoor area to look at and enjoy, fresh food and amazing service! Could not recommend this restaurant more! Ordered the eggs Benedict, cooked to perfection, had a yummy mimosa and took in the big pond and happy service. After everything Stanford has been through with the recent floods, the spirits were so high and everyone seemed jolly! Thanks for the incredible service and tasty food!

2 of us had Eggs Benedict, one had a Croissant filled with bacon, an egg and lettuce and I had a pancake stack with bacon & berries. We were all extremely happy with our choices.

What a beautiful venue! This restaurant is geared for families. Excellent playground for the kids, a good wine list for dad and a beautiful setting to let mom feel special. We were warmly welcomed and the service was very good. We ordered full breakfast and it was served with fresh seed bread and homemade jam. It was beautifully presented and very tasty. Their coffee is excellent too. A well worth stop to or from Stanford.

Beautiful restaurant in a absolutely picture perfect setting. Lots of space for the little one to run and play. Menu is filled with delicious options and Sunday lunch looked absolutely delicious. Friendly staff that assisted us without a booking even though they were almost at capacity.

This spot is a gem and often missed between Stanford and Hermanus but definitely worth a few visits.
There is plenty of space for kids to play.
We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon under the trees looking out on the pond and the mountains. The food was spectacular and decently priced (Definitely great portions).

Best outdoor and food spot in the region! We love it here: the kids can run on the grass, play on the playground equipment or walk around and explore a little further. Food has on all occasions been excellent and service even better, even during a busy time! Can't fault it. We will continue to return for more!

Went there on a sunday afternoon and had the most delicious lemon meringue cheesecake as well as roosterkoek and also a very yummy strawberry daquiri. Was a wonderful experience and the view is breathtaking! Excellent service and delicious food!

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch underneath the autumn trees. Great view onto duck pond. Sushi options were good. Food well presented. Good selection of local craft beer and wines to complete the meal options on the menu. Also artisanal gin on the drinks menu. Apart from sushi also a fair selection of burger meal options for the day. Garden setting makes it perfect for family outings.

Had a lovely lunch today, at this, small intimate restaurant just outside of Stanford, my son age 7 was outside playing and having a ball, giving his parents a break from entertaining himđ. Great service, food was delicious, and wine amazing, I can recommend this restaurant to any parent out there.

We attended the official opening of this fabulous little restaurant. Set in the sprawling hills of Sir Robert Stanford Estate, Zesty Lemon is an absolute gem.
The menu, though small, is filled with well-prepared, tasty delights. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and even when positively flooded with patrons, service is speedy and the food is delicious.
Try the baked Camembert- itâs divine!
