If you into great organic home grown food, this is the place to be. Great food, wine, juices and coffee. The service is great to. Also a place to catch up with the locals and pick up some great local produce.
Wow. 1st time in Stanford and 1st time to Graze Slow Good Cafe. I had carrot and cardomon soup - surprised with texture and flavour. We walked in before opening to book and I saw these massive wild mushrooms - had to eat the wild mushroom risotto - stunning. Hubby chose the fig and duck liver starter - his words "exceptional". His mains - bonnito with baby vegs and coconut rice. Portions are more than what we expected. Sensory experience. Will definitely recommend this Cafe! Real food served by passionate people.
First time in Stanford for us and this little town has really surprised us! Graze was recommended by Penny from the Stanford hotel and it really lived up to the expectations! All locally sourced fresh produce and the menu is never the same. Loved the personal touch by owners Alex and Tabby. The Rabbit ravioli was really awesome. Don’t expect Michelin Star cuisine. It is just real honest hearty food cooked with loads of love and respect for the fresh ingredients! Will definitely be back!
A warm, cozy, very special place where the restaurant is open to the kitchen, which serves delectable garlic mussels and rabbit. I can see why it's so popular. It deserves it's good reputation. Thank you so much.
This is officially our very favourite breakfast spot in Stanford.
The Gem of Stanford! Highly recommended!
Outstanding Food, Ambience, Service & attention to detail! Celebrated a friend of mine's Birthday there on the weekend and they created the most delicious 3 course Vegan luncheon for us xx
This. Place. Rocks.
Food and team are amazing, well worth a visit.
Epic spot. Good food. Health and environmentally conscious.
Ace!!! Then do brekky on Saturday!!!
Awesome night. Thanks too you both.. Superb food. Can't wait for the next time.
Try the Zodwa special! Banting has never been tastier!!
Just had the most amazing dinner. Highly recommended!
The food is so good and healthy! !!!
What a view. And how peaceful!!
Lovely setting for a family or romantic breakaway.
Africamps conveniently few 100m up the road, so can eat and drink wine to your heart's content.
Wide open spaces for the kids to play with lots of exploring possibilities.
Close to town and other restaurants and wine tasting venues, this is a come and stay scenario.
Absolutely stunning rustic setting and true farm experience, with dogs, hogs, ducks and children running free-range!
I had the Lamb Ragu which was delicious, as was my partner's hake and chips (hand-cut).
Gets a bit noisy with the wine-tasting crowd, so don't expect a quiet meal during busy times - but all part of the fun atmosphere.
Lots to keep young kids busy.
Friendly service if a little slow when busy.
Good food, great views and a nice atmosphere. Lots of space for kids to play and even feed the ducks.
Lovely setting and very friendly, attentive service. Food was pretty good. The Pizzas are great, but the Prego sirloin burger was a bit disappointing as the steak had quite a bit of gristle and it was a tomato sauce rather than a more traditional prego style sauce.
Enjoyed a great afternoon outside underneath the trees overlooking the farm dam and also Stanford valley. Started with a well tutored wine tasting before heading over to the restaurant area. Views are magnificent. Children friendly complete with play area adjacent to outside seating area of The Tasting Room restaurant. Good menu options prepared using local produce. Selected locally produced products also on sale in the shop. Remember to greet their pig and dog.
Fantastic venue with great views. Dog friendly which is great for us. The staff were friendly and the service was great. The food and drinks were good. Definitely recommend this place.
A wonderful wine tasting spot with the dam and rolling hills as the view. Wines are well priced and well worth the money. The food portions are generous and delicious. A great compliment to Africamps and would recommend the venue to anyone traveling through the area. It's an added bonus that they're pet friendly.
Nice restaurant with a good view. Decent pub food and some nice cold beers.
Intimate, Rustic & Family Friendly!
Stanford Hills is a little gem on the foot of the Overberg mountains overlooking their vines and small dam. Our second time here and not as busy as the last time, I suggest you book on busy weekends and holidays.
They do their small menu very well with helpful, friendly staff. Their wines and easy drinking with the surprise being their Rosé which I don't usually enjoy at all. Their renowned Pinotage is only for export so we had to buy a case! The tasting room is again intimate and I can see how it can become over crowded in busy times, but on the day was perfect for what we wanted.
There are jungle gym playgrounds and ample grass for kids and dogs to run around with the odd pig or chicken about.
This is not your usual commercial wine farm and definitely worth a visit when you are in the Overberg area.
Awesome food and very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Pleasantly surprised by this place. Food was really good and it had a nice little vibe. Amazing place to bring the kids with a fun little playground and plenty of space to run around and lovely little kiddies menu. And our server was great as well, he looked like Dimitar Berbatov (he was hoping for Zach Efron) and made the lunch even better.
Best tasting room. Food excellent and Africamps We will go again
We had a very fun lunch here. Lovely atmosphere and it has a fantastic outdoor area for kids. The food was a bit average - hence 4 stars, but everyone loved the outing because it makes up for it in other ways.
Who couldn’t love chilling at the Tasting Room and drinking in the views (along with their sneaky day time Rosé). This pizza was fab.
3rd year to visit and it never fails. Down to earth place with great food, staff and wine. Don't come with your airs and graces just your taste buds
Lovely venue with absolutely stunning views from the restaurant. The staff were friendly. The food was ok - I ordered a melanzane pararmagiano which was tasty, but had far too much cheese for my liking. Some may prefer this!
There are lots of things for kids to get stuck into: Swings, pirate ship, ducks, a pig etc.
