Review C-bali - St. Michael's on Sea

Had a suggestion to give this place a try and WoW they did not disappoint. Cozy atmosphere with a great view of the ocean. Friendly people and we'll mannered staff got our orders correct with no hassles. The food was delicious and so so flavorful, steak was made to perfection with a great combination of sources. We really enjoyed the drink options. The are a bit pricey but it's money well spent. Only downside was the chairs were not as comfortable and the table legs are big and bulky getting in the way of your feet. The car guards are a nuisance constantly begging for money even after you say NO same with the ladies selling avocados. Other than that will definitely recommend them and will come past again soon.

E X C E L L E N C E! Amazing food! Burgers are out of this world. The kids had milkshakes that were apparently the "best ever." Sea food and sushi fantatics in my group were very impressed with the presentation, portions and taste. The craft beer was wonderful can recommend the Saint. Our server Romeo was great, knew the menu and obliged to fine tune our order to our exact preferences. Definately our new favourite place. NOT TO BE MISSED!

A must visit if you are in the area. We had the seafood platter and it was amazing. So tasty, fresh and well presented. They also have a beautiful sea view and very helpful staff.

Were on vacation at The Gorge. Saw the restaurant with its reviews and just had to come and try it out. I always read reviews, so if you do too, you should definitely pop in here! Awesome food, above expectations and our waitress, Gloria was excellent too. Definitely recommend.

This restaurant is right on the beachfront with a beautiful view over the ocean. The food is fantastic no matter what you order. Service was a bit slow due to food and drinks being prepared fresh.

All round good. My friend and I had Steenbras fish tonight. Very well fried - still very juicy. My wife had a Flying Dutch men pooitjie. My friends wife had a Chicken burger. All well prepared. Also a good view of the ocean Bay

Thus far, our week long of testing all the restaurants along margate, this has been the best. The food was also very well presented.

This restaurant is a 5 star restaurant with a good menu and atmosphere it faces the beach. The prices are a bit inflated and they take long to prepare food i guess its wort it since the food is mouth watering. Big ups to our waiter of the day Sindi❤️

Best seafood I’ve had 🫶🏻 Cbali has lovely decor, delicious cocktails and a good vibe. Just an all-round great restaurant to visit for couples, group of friends or family!

Had an extraordinary experience! Had dinner with the family on Christmas eve and C-Bali did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly; food was definitely worth the price (especially recommend the Seafood Potjie) and beautifully presented. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a bit more of a fancy night out.

C-Bali was recommended to us by some local friends of ours. We decided to go on a Thursday evening out of season hoping to avoid the crowds. The restaurant was about half capacity and the atmosphere was Mediterranean and festive. The patrons were obviously enjoying their meal and company. We were a fairly large group of 10 and had reserved a suitable table. Our waitress was Happy, a skilled and attentive server who definitely contributed to our wonderful experience. The quality of our food was outstanding and the portion size was certainly satisfying. Overall I would definitely suggest every visitor to the area experience C-Bali and I am sure you will go back for more.

We had a wonderful experience at C-Bali. Really great seafood, very fresh and mouthwatering. I like the simplicity in the design overlooking the St Michael's Beachfront.. Well done to the team here, their service is also superb.

Food is delicious, service is really good and the scenario amazing. I do recommend this place. Why 4 stars and not 5? Expresso coffee! They have really good quality one but it comes out burned. A small touch and the lunch will be perfect!
