Felix was the most helpful and attentive! The food was divine! We had the hake and calamari with lemon and herb sauce - I can happily say both were on par if not better than Ocean Basket! The chocolate milkshakes are worth the wait and come with a unique topping. The whole place was neat and tidy and very well presented. There is also live entertainment every Friday which sets such a great vibe! 10/10; 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a good time and great food!

I was pleasantly surprised, this time around. It was my 2nd time visiting this joint. The previous experience was not wonderful. But I thought I'll try again. The draw card was the kids play area, but I also got treated to a lovely live duo band. Even though there was a mix up with my order. When the food came, it looked amazing and tasted delicious. I will admit I loved the calamari more than the prawns. We will be back and highly recommend it.

The food and service was very good. I enjoyed the strawberry sherbet and the prawns were the hight light of my day. The BBQ wings were delicious too. The creamy spinach was very tasty but it was too light, i wish it was a bit thicker. The only thing I did not enjoy were the chips. The overall service, environment and food was fantastic. We are coming back for the sea food. It is way better than Ocean basket!!! and affordable :)

If you think of Mozambique the country and the Portuguese style of preparing food, then that is what you will get at Mozambik. The seafood dishes and curries are very tasty and if you want a small bit of a kick to your food, just add their chilly sauce. Don't miss out on the coconut rise either. Prices are not expensive and you can get away with a meal and glass of wine for under R200 per person. Nice venue for a birthday celebration as well and the staff play on drums and sing when requested.

It was nice overall, prices felt quite good for quality and quantity of the food. Service was reasonabal if not a little absent at times. One slightly annoying point was only having alcoholic drinks on the menu, so you have to ask about other drinks like coffee or milkshakes. Could suggest they also get some plastic or metal cups for the kids.

The peri peri sauce is a must-have with their seafood. Their ribs are tender and meaty and the calamari was delicious with the sauce. Even the grilled veggies were nice. Only criticism would be the mussels, they were chewy and didn't taste so fresh. The service was good and we enjoyed our dinner. Update: I ordered the March Monday special with 12 prawns for R99. It doesn't come with sauce though so that's an extra R20. I also got the prok ribs (500g). Meat was sweet and tender.

We were served by an attentive friendly waitress. Chicken was 'peri' nice and delicious. Line fish moist and succulent. Prawns were disappointing as they were badly overcooked. Please take note management. Sep 2019: beef ribs were amazing. Highly recommended. Prawns were better this time around. Livers need more fire 🔥

I came here with my wife to try this restaurant for the first time for lunch. It was quite packed, and the service was slightly slow. Another issue I had was there's a lot of flies... We ordered the hake with coconut rice, and a quarter chicken with veg. Both dishes were very tasty, and the sauces were flavourful. We will definitely be back for the food but hopefully the issues we encountered will be resolved.
