Review Fresh Coffee Laundry Cafe - Somerset West

I was pleasantly surprised by the chicken strips at Crossley and Sons in Somerset West. They're not your typical run-of-the-mill strips; they're tender, with a melt-in-your-mouth quality and a perfectly crispy exterior. The accompanying sauce was absolutely divine, adding a delightful touch to the dish. I must say, I was truly blown away by the quality. Kudos to the team at Crossley and Sons for exceeding expectations! Wow and thank you. And for only R79... come on.. wow... And a special thank you to our waitress ESTHER. She was so friendly and kind, service was efficient and lovely! Ps: Sorry viewer, i had already eaten 70% of the portion before trying to capture a photo for the review.

Ordered some pastries the other evening. The lemon meringue was so yummy, very tart curd and such a soft and smooth meringue. Also ordered a cashew nut, chocolate tart which apparently was a bit of an experiment and it was really delicious. I also really having the best bacon, egg and cheese toasted sandwich here a while ago.

I knew from the moment the James Sadler Tea Pots hit the table that I was going to give Crossley’s a 5 star review. One cannot underestimate the importance of a good cup of tea, served in a beautiful tea pot. Although I just had a Chicken Mayo on Sourdough, followed by a slice of Caramel Cheese Cake, our waitress, Memory, really looked after us as if we have been coming there for years. Seeing as we are relocating to Somerset West I can see Crossley & Sons becoming a regular fixture. Looking forward to trying some other items on the menu.

Gorgeous place! You wouldn't even think you were in the mall once you've sat down. Relaxing music, spot on customer service and a cost effective menu with just enough options. I visit every chance I get when I'm at the mall. Their good is very nice, I still want to try the lasagne but it's always sold out when I get there! Will keep visiting and slowly work my way through the menu.

Exceptional service. Their strawberry milkshake and strawberry freezo is out of this world. Love the workwear that the staff wear - very professional. Good music, good croissants and good vibes.

My favorite place of all time! It's a beautiful little Cafe with the best croissants, pastries and delicious food. The food is very affordable and always top quality. And ofcourse we always order tea because who doesn't love a little whimsical teapot 🫖

Excellent coffee☕️. My go to place for the last month. If you’re looking for something different, look no further. I’d say Crossley & Sons is a boutique Café/Bakery . It gives of an unique atmosphere with its decor, great service and reasonable prices!

Great service and food! I've never been somewhere with so many good and unique items on the menu for an amazing price. The waiters are super nice, the food comes quick, and the drinks are amazing too! 10/10 reccomend going here, I never see enough people there so please check them out!

What a beautifully decorated shop. The food is lovely and well priced. The staff is enthusiastic and friendly. I love coming here for a quick coffee and a croissant. I daren't try the chocolate cake for I might just then die of happiness!
