There is a reason this is the best Woolies in the Western Cape, and it's not just because of the retail section. 
The food here is excellent, crunchy fresh, has a unique edge, and always comes to your table accompanied with smiling service. 
The wait can be a little long on a busy day, but grab a coffee at the "to-go" counter and relax in line. 
Nothing comes cheap here, but hey! You're at Woolies so you should know you're paying with the big boys.

This place is just brilliant! Service is great, food is good and they coffee is amazing. The baristas are top notch! If you love good coffee, then this is the place for you!

Wonderful buzzy cafe atmosphere. Excellent coffee and fresh well prepared and lovely food. Fantastic sushi. The service can definitely be improved upon though.

I was absolutely in awe and amazed at this Woolworths food branch! It is so big and has every type of variety you can imagine. I'm definitely going to be returning to do shopping at this one so the woolies cafe here will see me quite often.
I ate from the harvest table and my favourite sweet potato bake was great and the chicken curry I had was also lovely. The service is on the slow side here though, the waiters look a little frazzled.

Had breakfast here a few times and I highly recommend their freshly squeezed orange juice! Food is also good and staff are friendly but it is quite pricey.

I love the large Woolworths food (Flag Store) store and often land up "treating" myself to something from the cafe. It is always busy but the staff try make a plan to help as many people as possible. The harvest table is wonderful - their baked aubergine dish and the cabbage and grapefruit salad are super tasty. Nothing beats a Woolworths coffee ☕️ The staff could be more attentive - sometimes patrons are not always checked up on.

I'm going to start by saying that it's probably worth it to go to this cafe just to check the flagship Woolworths store out...! Well, that's at least how I ended up here and I wasn't disappointed. The cafe also meets the quality, luxury and convenience standards that go with the Woolworths brand as a whole. The menu includes a good variety (including gluten-free, dairy-free and egg-whites-only options for health nuts), the portion sizes are decent and the service is fast. They also have an alluring breakfast and lunch buffet between certain times of the day. I might as well add that the place was filled with very trendy looking people... And the added benefit is of course that you can do your grocery shopping and breakfast, lunch or coffee in one.

I missed a lecture to drive from Stellies to Somerset to meet my mum and grandparents for lunch. And it really was worth it!! I've experienced very slow service at various other Woolies Cafés as well as unfriendly, unenthusiastic staff. This was a completely different experience! Our waiter, Connor, clearly loves his job which became obvious by his jokes and positive attitude. He was clued up on the menu and knew exactly what was in stock and gave suggestions on which bread went best with which sandwiches. I had the open club sandwich but asked for no chorizo. Connor told me they didn't have any chorizo anyway but would compensate it for something else. He suggested bacon but I don't eat bacon so I asked for avo. There must have been some confusion because my sandwich arrived with bacon in the chicken mixture as well as avo on top. I just picked the bacon out and Connor was very apologetic but the sandwich was still delicious!! The presentation was great and all of the meals we ordered are a good size- small enough to finish but big enough to feel completely satisfied!

I had been dying to try the Gingerbread Latté and despite my already full tummy, I ordered one with the bill as a takeaway. It was absolutely heavenly, the perfect amount of ginger and a nice strong double shot of espresso! I definitely that it's my new favourite hot drink!

Overall it was an awesome lunch, despite he confusion with my order but that's the price you pay for being a little fussy!! Other must tries on the Woolies menu are the Salad Sandwich and the open Chicken Schnitzel sandwich which is what my grandpa and my mum had! The ingredients are fresh and taste amazing... But then again, what else would anyone expect from the brilliant Woolworths??
