Review Sage & Thyme Village Coffee Shop - Somerset West

My mom has been wanting to go to Sage & Thyme for a while now. We decided to go for breakfast and were not disappointed The portions are generous, bacon is delicious and the presentation of the food was clean and neat. Our waitress was lovely and all the staff were incredibly friendly. Lovely little Gem of a spot that I will be visiting again. Prices are very reasonable and quality of food was very good.

It's a really nice breakfast area and the service is very good; the food came out approximately 20 minutes and the coffee within 10 minutes. I was rushing for the airport, but we managed to have breakfast within an 1h. In conclusion, Sage & Thyme is a really nice breakfast restaurant that’s hidden away for a relaxed dining experience.

I love this place. Simple food well prepared at reasonable prices, but the ace up their sleeve is their extraordinary staff, who are as as friendly and efficient as you could wish for. Brilliant!

Have not been exposed to such friendly service in such a long time. Lovely breakfast, everyone enjoyed their chosen meals and I was so pleased to be accommodated with my selection.

This was my second visit. The restaurant was full inside and outside, but not overcrowded with a very nice atmosphere I was very proud to introduce my special friend to this Amazing gem in the heart of Somerset west. The coffee was very nice and the carrot cake was absolutely delicious 😋. Thank you for an awesome experience. Next time I will try the oxtail.

Sage & Thyme is a beautiful, buzzing coffee shop! The warmth from Anton (owner) and his staff spills over into their delicious food and fresh cakes! Absolutely love visiting this lovely spot!! I have been to this place on 4 occasions as I was looking for the best traditional milk tart for my elderly mom. I have noticed each time, the kindness of the waitresses and staff. How some gently put their hand on the back of some of the patrons while they spoke. Some patrons were elderly and alone but felt at home in their presence. Today I was deeply moved by the owner/manager when I popped in last minute and asked for milk tart as my mom only wants theirs. The owner gave it to me at no charge just because ‘they had a good day’. Wow, what special people and What a special place .

Returning to Sage and Thyme after years, I found the place just as warm and welcoming as ever, especially during the winter season. I'm not a frequent visitor, but I always opt for their breakfast. The staff remains friendly, and the overall experience is consistently delightful.

We were here today for a late morning cup of tea and it is now my favourite Coffee Shop in Somerset West. From the moment we walked in the atmosphere was wonderful, the staff / waitress could not have be more pleasant and the food was 5 star. To top it off their prices are affordable. We will definitely be regulars whenever we are in SW. Thank you ladies for making our experience special.

The best breakfast and cappuccino's....generous portions and great service! Thank you Sage & Thyme, will definitely see you again for our Saturday morning breakfast outings.

The food have been prepared very well & is very tasty. The best apple tart in town. I can also recommend their oxtail. The waitresses are friendly & give a good service.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Amazing food, friendliest atmosphere, brilliant staff and such a gorgeous family atmosphere. Thank you for having us for the kitchen tea and for our last lunch today.
