I’d definitely recommend giving The Salty Sea Dog a try.
We had the hake & chips, snoek & chips and a chicken burger. The chips were perfect, nice and soft on the inside, a little crispy on the outside. The snoek was absolutely delicious, and I’d especially recommend trying it if you haven’t before

Definitely the best place for fish n chips. The fish was fresh and served piping hot and it went down well with the beer. The view from the restaurant is really nice as well. It's worth driving down through Chapman's Peak Drive from Cape Town to Simon's Town and top it with a meal here.
