Review Pili Pili Beach Restaurant - Sedgefield

This is a perfectly positioned beach restaurant at Myoli beach in Sedgefield. The pizza and spare ribs are delicious. Children can play in the sand, while adults enjoy a quiet drink, and watch over them. Such a relaxing venue.

Service was a little slow, but it was well worth it. Our waitress was friendly and kind, and provided oodles of suggestions when we asked for them. The jalapeno poppers were a true eye opener for Awesomeness. They have set that bar up high for where all other poppers will be in the future. Everything was fabulous and delicious! Loved sitting outside on the beach with the pizza ovens right behind us. This place had the most amazing smell!

Went to PiliPili with a biking group. We had a group function on the rooftop. View is awesome. The service was outstanding. Waitrons were very accomodating and friendly. The food was outstanding. Repeat: Outstanding. The group ordered pizzas, calamari, burgers and all were superb. Highly recommended

Prime location, great vibe, cold beers, good variety of food, nicely laid out inside and out with plenty of choice as to where to sit.

We enjoyed tasty pizzas at the restaurant. The location is good - next to the parking area and less than 100m from the beach.

We love PiliPili. The pizza is great. We have had a few. The Pilipili chicken and the full calamari are both delicious.

Nice beach restaurant and bar with a jungle gym for the kids. The hake and chips is very good. Pizzas are also good. Look out for specials if you are on a budget.

Our waiter was very nice and was fast to help with anything we needed. The milkshakes were very nice. Unfortunately we were there on a rainy day but the atmosphere inside was nice and cozy.

Ons was Ou Jaarsaand by die strand en het gewag vir die vuurwerke...wat n ondevinding...ons is net daarna na Pili Pili vir n drankie...en was baie verbaas om so vriendelik ontvang te word by die ingang...die "bounchers" het al hulle dae gehad om mense wat net wou ingaan...en daar is mooi aan ons verduidelik dat daar net n sekere hoeveelheid persone toegelaat kan word, daarom is daar n cover charge. Baie dankie julle klompie by Pili Pili, julle sien ons verseker weer!!!!

Ek kom al baie jare PiliPili toe en iets hier is fout. Die cocktails se standaard is baie af. Die menu het verander, die pizza's is anders. Niks hier is soos dit was nog n paar maande terug nie. Die diens is van so aard... Hulle vra eers as jy al 15min sonder iets sit. Ek geniet PiliPili baie, maar vir redes. Ek weet nie wat hier fout gegaan het nie maar maak dit asb reg soos die "ou" PiliPili was as mens hier kom.

NOT happy about the quality at Pili anymore. Last few times left Pili very unimpressed. To the point where I'm not sure I will bring my family here again. We are locals but I'm rather going elsewhere or staying home next time. Ordered a Bloody Mary, no Tabasco. Who sells Bloody Mary without Tabasco? Then the same Bloody Mary has literally half a cucumber in as long as the glass is tall. Milkshakes I am convinced has no ice cream in. It's flavored milk and choc sauce covering the glass outside. You can't touch the damn glass! Ordered a pizza supposed to have bacon on but had hardly ANY bacon. A few crumbs at most. Highly doubt I will be back. We understand new management care little about locals. But careful new pili management you are dependent on the locals whether u like it or not.

Die nuwe Management is SO bad. Sal nie my voette weer hier sit nie. Kom al 5 jaar hierheen...die nuwe vrou wat hier agter die bar werk...kry maniere. Jy behandel jou kliente baie sleg.

The best pizza, friendly, efficient staff and wonderful vibe. There’s just nothing like sitting next to a roaring fire with your feet in the sand. Love this place.

Loved the vibe and freindly service. Excellent food and ever better venue. Definitely recommend to any normal couple that appreciate friendly service and good food. Thx you guys you are doing a great job.

I can honestly say that the service was excellent. The waitress Andrea was very helpful and she recommender your non alcoholic strawberry drink that was se good that I had to order another one. Will definitely go back and highly recommend you.

The pizza was wonderful, the chips tasty and the salad delicious, but please, please, have plastic cutlery and paper napkins and take away ketchup available for those of us who want to enjoy our meal as a take away on the beach.

We went to Pili Pili for Calamari. What a dreadful experience. The Calamari was like rubber and completely tasteless. The service was as bad. There was not a manager in sight. Shocking food and shocking service.

A bit disappointing. Waitress spoilt our evening. Sherry poured in normal glass. Do go shopping and get some proper glasses. You should be more attentive to locals. Bar man downing whiskey and water - surprised he is still standing. Supervision is needed. Such a pity because it is a great spot. Get your A-Game back!

I am very disappointed in your waiters from last night, the one we asked to help us was under the influence, I can understand its new years BUT how can you let your staff be under the influence and smoke cigarettes near your customers, you have so much potential but you should look at your staff. Ps this is not the first time I have been there, it seems to be an on going thing regarding your staffs service
