Absolute favorite place to visit whenever in the area. Quaint setting in the garden. Authentic Italian food prepared by the owners on the premises. Limited menu, very well executed. Make sure to book a table well in advance. They are only open limited times on certain days. Big bonus that you can bring your own drinks without a corkage being charged. Easy accessible from N2. Parking in the street.

People! Go and eat here! Everything is made from scratch, fantastic service. Wonderful atmosphere and quite frankly simply the best food. My choice is the tortellini (smothered with cheese and mushroom based sauce) and the Leah Cake which is sublime. Leah and her husband make this restaurant all the better.

Excellent lunch, home cooked, prepared with fresh ingrédients. The "chef" will cook to your taste. Talk to her. Nice and frienfly environnement in a quiet area. Can only strongly revommend it.

Service, food, atmosphere perfect. They can not do enough for their customers and always go the extra mile. My favourite place to fine in. Or get the occasional take away from.

This is on if my favourite restaurants. A small family owned restaurant, right in the heart of Sedgefield. The pasta is freshly made by Steve, and Leah, his wife makes the most divine desserts. Their marinated vegetables are the best I've eaten. They aren't licensed, so you can bring your own. Book to avoid disappointment as they're only open 3 days a week. Highly recommended.

Wow - firstly. This unassuming converted house in Sedgefield really surprised me. Tucked away on a side street behind the Engen is hidden some the best Italian food I have ever eaten. Three courses (ate every bite) Starter The focaccia fresh and delicious. Mains I had the eggplant parm over their homemade tagliatelle. The cheese was broiled and the sauce acidic enough and sweet enough. Loved it. My friend had the seafood pasta and it was packed with prawns, mussels and calamari. The price here was only R175. Perhaps we are just used to Joburg prices but it is amazing value for money. Dessert Apple cake Chunky bits of apple enrobed in warm, cinnamony cake served with vanilla ice cream. I will dream about this cake. Wow Pavlova It was large and a cornucopia of fruit decorated the meringue. The hours are short so be sure to make time in line with the hours during your trip.

We watched them make their home made pasta . Wonderful authentic food. My Cannaloni was the best I've ever eaten .Best of all we were outside under cover so we were very comfortable re not being close or enclosed with other diners.

A must-visit spot in Sedgefield. The food is top quality and the owner...., well, interesting! Hours are non-traditional, make sure you book. Not licenced, so BYO.

One of my top 10 meals of the year. The Beef Stroganoff was beyond brilliant. Trattoria Da Vinci is must when in Sedgefield.

Food was absolutely wonderful. Pasta homemade and light. Atmosphere informal as restaurant is in a house, and it feels very homey. Service casual but good. Excellent experience all over.

We had 4 nights in the Garden Route. Stopped by on Monday for dinner. What a great experience. It is a typical Trattoria with rustic finishes. No frills or state of the art decor however the food is what it is all about. We ordered their special dishes. Osso Buco, Veal with a cheese and mushroom sauce & Grilled Soles. The food was outstanding. Worth waiting for 1/2 hour. We decided to go back on Thursday which was equally delightful. You will not be dissapointed. Bookings required.

Just go there. You will enjoy the food. We started with the pizza in 2005 and whenever we have the opportunity we return for Steve's awesome dishes.

Your waitress Rika gave excellent service and Leah added her personal touch by walking through the restaurant and greeting her patrons. Well done! We will visit again shortly!

Trattoria like family for the last 20 years. The best restaurant in the Garden Route. Steve and Lea and our personal waiter Al absolutely brilliant. Can not wait to see them this December.
