Perfect spot for a lazy Sunday afternoon. Sometimes I hate having options, like why have options when everything looks so good. I probably wanted to change my ice-cream scoop of my waffle, 10 times. Too top everything off, one staff member kept on refilling the ice-cream tubs with more flavours, leaving me totally frazzled.
I treated my mom and granny to a waffle and ice-cream on Mother's Day. My mom who is more of a cake person honestly enjoyed her evening. You know someone likes it, if they say "I want to lick my plate".

My first time here and they are not pricey at all. R42 for 2 decent sized scoops.
I tried the strawberries and cream and barone scoops. I think I enjoyed it a lot coz their ice cream texture was good and it wasn’t as sweet as your basic ice cream scoops
Venezia has a good range of flavours. I liked their ice cream and would definitely return. Their pistachio was really good. A biiiit pricey tho.
This quaint ice cream parlour has been around for a long time so it's well-known. It serves simple but tasty flavors of gelato which can be served either in cones or tubs (I personally prefer the sugar cones). If you want to like something more decadent, opt for the waffles.
The place itself is tiny so if you buy an ice cream I would recommend taking it outside and strolling along the promenade. Venezia's affordable prices allow everyone to enjoy this treat.
But be warned: this place gets crowded during weekends and warmer days and the service takes a hit.
What a hidden gem!* Had to end off date night on a "sweet note"! Venezia Ice Cream had a wide range of gelato ice-cream. We had two scoops with a sugar cone!
This Cape Town institution is one of the greats. Almost a landmark of Desserts. After dinner, we stopped here and had two cappuccinos and shared a plain waffle( with syrup, cinnamon sugar and ice cream). The coffees were slightly strong for cappuccinos, but the waffle was light, crispy, coated in cinnamon and had a generous scoop of ice cream. Not the best I've tasted, but certainly satisfied the craving.
Note: the location Zomato has put up for this place is incorrect, it is actually just opposite the Pick n Pay in Main road, Sea Point. That being said, after searching we eventually found this cute little ice cream parlour and I'm so glad we didn't give up the search! I ordered a waffle with honeycomb icecream, banana and chocolate sauce and my friend ordered a waffle with pineapple sorbet, banana and caramel sauce. The staff were friendly and efficient and our waffles were served within 5-7 minutes. Great value for money and very interesting flavours available. The portion of the waffle is also just enough to satisfy your craving but not enough to make you feel like you've overdone it. I'll definitely be back to try their pancakes!
My boyfriend begged me to try this place and I did not regret it. Some amazing ice cream 🍦. I can't remember the flavour I had, but I know it was good. My boyfriend had the mint and really enjoyed it. Love this place, however, it is a bit difficult to find as we had to drive up and down the road before we found the place. It is very small and secluded.
What better way to reward yourself than with a refreshing ice cream? Ice cream is one of those things that you can enjoy come rain or shine. Even with a full tummy, I can always eat ice cream.
Venezia Ice cream is a small little shop in Seapoint with flavours like Black cherry, coffee, chocolate only but to name a few. Tasty flavours, smooth and creamy, they are all made using the original Gelato recipes.
Apart from the delicious ice cream they also do Belgian waffles and pancakes.
Whatever flavour you decide to have, you won't be disappointed.
Ice cream can be done well or badly. Bad is your standard PnP ice with can be so vanilla that it's not vanilla but frozen milk.
Venezia provides great flavorful ice cream. With standard flavors (except no peanut butter 😢) the flavors are simple enough and not some the craziness you see over at places like The Creamery.
Have it in a cone or cup this frozen lump of goodness is a certainty to give you a brain freeze while you suck it down.
Small enough to have one person on duty but needs a bit of personality and drive to enjoy their work.

Thanks to the manager Clement, we were given the opportunity to have our minds altered by seeing their improvement.
Imran and I had two scoops each and I opted for the waffle which was soft and flavorful. My ice cream choices were Caramel Crunch and Stracciatella. The caramel crunch was rich in flavor and was my favorite. Both scoops were smooth and creamy in texture and therefore irresistible.
I am still however, concerned about the cleanliness and staff. The one staff member had an attitude that was hard NOT to notice. The menus were greasy and the chairs were dirty too (Not a good idea to sit if you're wearing white).
This little spot might seem unassuming but get inside and your senses are destroyed by its variety and flavours.
I loved this place, give it a try and enjoy some ice cream!

Not to bad. I used the hyperli voucher and it all went well. The bubble waffle tastes amazing but the ice creams SUPER sugary! I couldn’t finish it.
The staff was kind and friendly. While waiting the smell in the air as they were preparing the waffles and pancakes was absolutely mouth-watering. Whether you are going for a waffle, pancakes, bubble waffle or just an ice cream in a cone, this lovely Venezia Ice Cream Parlour is very cosy. The waffles and ice-cream was delicious. Friendly staff and quick service. Could be a little more communicative but it was busy. Waffles where delicious, ice cream was delicious and milkshakes were delicious.

This was a cute shop its a walking distance to the beach so you can either sit in or enjoy a relaxing walk with their yummy ice cream and waffles. I didn't enjoy the caramel and chocolate sauce next time I'll have it without it.

.....after we finished sea gazing we wondered what kind of a warm comfii snack we could indulge in before we headed home to start our weekend? As it was a very wet, cold and windy day in Cape Town so hot or warm comfii food would do great we then remembered that we had a Daddy’s Deal Voucher hidden in the cubbii hole for Waffles & Cappuccinos! Mmmmmmm-h! So we went off hunting for Venezia(Venice) Ice Cream Palour on Main Road, Sea Point, wow it’s so small you just about miss it but the welcome & service you receive warms you immediately! It is said that “first impressions last the longest” so very true the young gentleman on duty was on point! The place was very clean and tidy, although been small and snug we were alone so we had the place to ourselves with loads of good delicious and many different flavors of ice cream but the voucher only allowed one flavor each! We ordered a Rum & Raisin, banana with caramel drizzle and a Honey & Hazelnut with chocolate drizzle Waffle each! It came with a small cappuccino! The waffles and ice cream was insidious-lii delicious it really warmed our insides! We now have to come back and try all the other flavors so it does mean a few more visits in the future!.....
I bought a wikideals voucher valid for 150.00 for 2 waffles. Seperately it would cost u 100.00 each We had a chocolate one and a banana and vanilla one. Both veri nice. Service was good. . Staff friendly...

We have 4 different flavors and they were all absolutely fantastic.
The sugar cone was also delicious and thick so ice cream was stable and easy to eat.
