A lovely restaurant. They have local beers on tap. Always ask for the day's specials. I tried the linefish special of the day (Yellowfin Tuna) and it was excellent. But it was expensive so best ask for the prices before ordering specials. The seating area is not too fancy but quite cosy.

Eat here!!! My goodness we were so surprised by the quality of the food, it was absolutely EPIC! I had the Yellowfin Tuna special (12€ and R220 with dauphinois - seriously 10/10 and my partner’s triple cooked chips and burger with feta and avo went down a storm. Delighted to have ventured inside, from the sleepy outside space - also full credit to our lovely waiter, Franco, who’s timing and service were brilliant.

Stopped for lunch at this lovely little restaurant on a Friday afternoon. It was very quiet as was to be expected on account of the weather and it being in the middle of a week day. The service was efficient and the food was served quite fast after ordering. I enjoyed the calamari whilst my company had the line fish of the day. Both dishes were delicious and ample. There were a few local beers on tap, though not the full range as advertised on the menu. Seating options are available indoors and outside. I can imagine that it would be a lovely gathering place for friends and family on a lovely, sunny, late afternoon after a day spent at the beach or hiking in the beautiful surroundings of Scarborough and beyond. Not handicap accessible. No designated play areas for kids. Pet friendly. Note that the restaurant also sells some lovely art, which is displayed in the restaurant itself.

This was a find on our trail. Food was great, servers friendly. Only slight issue is they are extremely dog friendly, so if you're not so comfortable with canines it may not be the place for you.

Camel Rock is a great restaurant if you want to get away from everything and just chill and to destress. Great Food and Service. Patricia, our waitress was so sweet and made our date night extra special. Will definitely go there again.

I have no idea where the complaining on the reviews come from. We had two pizzas, panko chicken strips with homemade fries and fresh black mussels in a white wine and cream sauce. Service was so friendly. Drinks were cold and delivered quickly. The atmosphere, sitting around trees on mix and match tables and chairs was fun. I have eaten in restaurants around the World and have spent the last week travelling and eating around Cape Town and this place is amongst the top that I have eaten at. Just judge according to where you are and the theme of the establishment, and you can’t go wrong.

Absolutely deeeelicious thin-crust pizzas and amazing hake & chips - plus incredibly efficient service on a Sunday afternoon! We received our late lunch 15 minutes after we ordered. Thanks Camel Rock team for all the goodness <3

I was riding my bike on quite a long ride and realized that my gps battery was dying. I managed to find this restaurant and they were very helpful to assist me with charging my gps. I sat down and ordered some scones and jam and creme which were really good. The staff were friendly. There wasn’t much else around here and I just had coffee and scones so can’t give any more feedback but it seems like a good place. They also have a kind of fruit stall. I was very grateful for their assistance and left and enjoyed the rest of my ride.

Traveling is always a joy, So we don't have special requirements for what food to eat; Delicious scenery of South Africa is satisfying, Eating in a restaurant just adds to the fun of traveling. Camel Rock restaurant is such a restaurant like that, People who don't pay attention to food can enjoy it;  … .

Great spot for a pizza or a milkshake. One of the few places round here that has great live music and a really cool jungle gym for the kids!

Perfect place for a leisurely lunch. Look out for the specials board - we lucked out on the curries, which were spectacular!

Really enjoyed this local spot in Scarborough. Friendly service and impressive Mexican food on a Friday night. Great outdoor space as well.
