Love this little gem ! Great staff and great healthy food options with a really nice vibe. Can sit outside in the sun or inside if it’s chilly. Food is amazing !
We enjoyed breakfast on a Saturday morning at Gorge Kramerville, and were super impressed. The ambiance was relaxed and contemporary. The staff were extremely helpful and the service was great, even when the place started filling up halfway through our meal. They have VERY good coffee, some of the best I've had in a while, and the food was simply delicious. It was difficult to decide what to eat (the options were very enticing), and despite loving the food we ordered in the end, we couldn't help but drool over the food being served to the other customers around us. We'll simply have to go back and try more items from their very reasonably priced menu. This is a hidden gem. Well done Gorge.
Let’s start with the good stuff...just the location alone of this restaurant is inspired. Being surrounded by such beautiful decor and furniture makes the ambiance agreeable.
Secondly, the pricing is so affordable. We were quite surprised by this. Considering that most of furniture and decor in this place is expensive!!! I mean for 2 people we paid R189.
The wrap/sandwich menu was so appetizing, I was not sure what to have. The inner root that I eventually picked was AMAZING!!!! It had so much flavor and was so tasty. Even my husband’s plain burger was tasty- he said😏
The service was slow and thus I’m rating it a generous 4
Nice variety of fresh and healthy food to choose from, as well as some indulgent items. Everything from salads, wraps, bowls to sandwiches and sweet bites. Decent coffee. Good place to take a break from all the decor shopping in Kramerville!
Been here twice on the way to work. Had a chicken avo and rocket sandwich which was pretty bland. Second visit, had power oats with cranberries and sunflower seeds which was tasty along with the toni glass ice tea that I'm obsessed with.
The tasteless sandwich brought my rating down considering the price of R48 otherwise the service is great.
Really good coffee and lunch bar packed with health drinks, sandwiches and salads. Banting bread was excellent. Would recommend the herb chicken sandwich.
Gorge has good health food and free range food.Also good those banting as well vegan options like almond milk for beverages.Had chicken sandwich which was lovely with a smoothie .Its located in Kramerville which is home to many interior decor places
Absolutely love this place! Health conscious and great! Best cauliflower wrap I've ever tasted, although it could use more filling. The cost is modest, the smoothies are good too, pretty location and a bunch of bakery items and quick items on the go!

I come here for an early morning coffee sometimes before work and from time to time will also have a muffin or croissant. It's all good! Good coffee and amazing things to eat. The vibe is also pretty cool, very chilled and staff are always friendly which makes a place just that much better!
Cosy and inviting ambiance. Service is fast and friendly . Really impress with the standard and quality of the dishes served.... chips are from freshly cut potatoes ( not frozen) the burger like it suppose to be ....no extra sauce to distract from the taste of the good quality and rich combo of meat and buttered bun , the creamy mature cheddar just add that extra deep in flavor. Organic and fresh ingredients served with respect. I really like to try the breakfast menu now ... see you soon .
Lovely spot for weekday lunch. If you need a quiet spot for an offsite meeting or catch up with a friend, you'll find Gorge ideal (without the admin of going to a mall). This is also great for those of us on a no carbs and sugar nutrition plan- they have organic beverages and healthy eating options on the menu... if you can walk past the giant muffins and croissants. Call and oder your lunch ahead as service is slow- we waited 40 minutes for x2 salads.

I discovered Gorge after they hosted us after an evening event. I recently returned during their regular hours to have brunch with a friend who also attended aforementioned event.
The food is excellent. They are also able to customise and alter ingredients to the customer's preference. The waiters are exceptionally knowledgable on menu items, including those that are not included. I believe our waiter's name was Martin. He was on point with regard to every thing and kept us up to date with what was happening in the kitchen, including delays and suggestions of food and drink. This allowed me to taste a delicious raspberry smoothie that was no longer listed after asking what he recommended.
I was informed that their hours would extend once they have their liquor licence. It is such a lovely place to have sundowners, so that too will make all the difference.
I enjoyed the ambiance, although on the day we went, there was construction happening in the complex which did disturb us as we were seated outside.
Overall, I feel that it is a hidden gem that should be tried out by those wanting tasty, delicious food at great prices with superb and efficient service. Onwards and upwards!

I had a cauliflower wrap.. It was delicious and full of flavor .. I just feel like the portion could be slightly bigger. The wrap is very small. I don't even mind paying a bit more for a slightly bigger wrap and filling.
Shared a smoothie which was delicious and the consistency was great.
Will be back here to try other options.

Okay. Need more seating area -maybe being there on a really rainy day didn't help. Coffee good but cold. Their white poppy seed bread is divine. Service slow if you just want takeaways.

Wife was feeling a little hungry so decided to try out Gorges which is a new place in Kramerville. I just ordered a cappuccino while my wife had something to eat. Coffee is actually quite good and the food going around looks delicious. I will definitely be back soon for a bite.
Found this cute little spot a week ago in Kramerville and decided to try it out this Saturday. Had a bacon and egg crossiant for breakfast and cuppachino to drink. The crossiant was filled to the max with a generous amount of crispy bacon. Will be awesome when they get the liquor licence so that you can sit on the roof top and enjoy cocktails.
Saturday afternoon lunch. Nice chill vibes, really good coffee. The meals are super fresh, prepared to order, the fries were just cut and prepared (homemade taste) 👌 good service. Entertainer available. Not too busy during this time.
Lovely cozy coffee shop. Bustling and vibey location. Ordered the chicken avo wrap made with cauliflower wrap. It was very tasty but the portion was small. I also order a smoothie which was very satisfying. I love the look and feel of Gorge! They make great coffee too and I will def pop in again.
Great; It's a rather picturesque venue with a great breakfast. Both of us were happy with our meals, and the service overall was great. The biggest problem with this place, is when you sit outside, the amount of flies. You'll spend the entire time in a constant tutelary state hovering over your food. It was really a shame as we were forced to rush our meal and leave early. If they can sort that out, I'd love to come back.
Cute and cosy and their fresh drinks are proper, I like the fact that I chose my own mix up, they are not restricted to the menu.

Really great breakfast and brunch menu. Fresh ingredients, meticulously prepared meals and attention to detail. Good balance between healthy calorie controlled options and good soul food for the hungry at heart!
