The drive through is open 24 hours along with the outdoor seating. Ideal for a quick, takeaway meal after a night out on the time. The staff are surprisingly Jolly even in the early hours of the morning. Can get busy, depending on time you go.
A perfect option for drive through or sit out. Spacious seating area inside-out. I prefer a drive through though. I usually prefer their McChicken burgers, Chicken Nuggets and Fries. However, the taste of the burgers and nuggets here is inconsistent. Sometimes the burgers are soggy and lack crunchiness. The Chicken nuggets are hard sometimes. I prefer McD Fries any time of the day.

Popped in on the way home from work. The drive thru is so quick and convenient when you just couldn't give a... 🙂. They have this new jalapeño chicken burger that was quite tasty. I also got fries and the chicken nuggets plus a chicken fold over for the other half.
Really impressed by the quick service. the Delivery system is so speedy. I had a problem with one of my orders and I phoned in and they were so nice and assisted me right away and I respect that. Favorite McDonald's by far!
The lady on the drive through intercom on Saturday nights is brilliant. Great friendly voice and a smile when you pay. Very happy to come here ever Saturday night

Great drive-through after a heavy night for a Big Mac or Quarter Pounder! This particular McDonalds is always really quick and serve strong coffee!!
This McDonald's is incredibly speedy. I suppose they have to be as they are in the heart of sandton and the lunch hour is extremely busy. I find that going into the restaurant is much quicker than doing the drive through. The service was very friendly and the food was hot and fresh. It helps to go at the busier time so that you know everything has just come out of the kitchen.
This is the closest McDonalds from where we stay (1.5 kms). We go there every other week - either for a sit-down meal or for a quick drive-through take-away.
This McD's makes the regular favourites such as the McFeast Deluxe, Big Tasty, Big Mac, Double Quarter Pounder very well - they always seem to add more sauce & their patties are more juicy.
We are a family of four (2 adults + 2 kids) so we always are looking for family friendly places and this one hits all the right notes with a good kids play area.
There is also more than adequate parking available. If there is one little grouse that I have with them is that when ordering a drive-through meal, if you request even a minor non-regular change (like ordering an additional patty), they make you wait for 5-10 minutes. This goes against the very concept of a drive through order !!

From the time Mc Donalds started serving Vegertarian burgers, we go to Mc Donalds Rivonia Road atleast once a week . Our son love playing at their indoor play area and we feel very secure there.
