Review The Panini Brothers - Sandton

Sean Riley
Great, fast comfort food. No frills, great service. For it is, it’s perfect.

Excellent Quality, owner is extremely patient. Quite pricey but you do get what you pay for, ciabbata a lil dry tho. Best lunch in this area, save the walk and madness in Sandton City.

I was a little sceptical at first, but it turned out to be amazing. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. I had the Verona Panini, and it's definitely something I'll have again.

Not an cheap option for lunch , definitely more worth while to sit on there and enjoy the food which is pretty good I will admit

went in to grab a quick bite in between meetings. was greeted by friendly staff with a big smile 😊 I wanted a chai latte which they were out of stock so he promptly offered me a cappuccino with cinnamon to make it up which was very thoughtful. I ordered the scrambled eggs, avocado and halloumi on an olive panini and can I say this was deliciously delicious. The panini was heavenly and made to perfection. The food came quick and service is fast and efficient. Will be back.

Best paninis I've ever had, terrible pasta. The penne was undercooked and unsalted (or not salted enough when cooking) whilst the napoletana sauce was extremely salty.

28.04.2017 Decided to try something new around the office as its a friday and rather quiet. Saw this spot as something nearby so went for a quick drive. Friendly and welcoming staff who assisted me with deciding on what to have. Today's special was a Ciabatta with Lettuce, Tomato, Provolone Cheese, Mortadella meat and Mayo. The gentleman also gave me some of their chilli on the side. Service was quick, managed to get in and out of the centre in under 15 minutes so no parking fee (yay)

Sadly when i got to the office my Sandwhich was missing the Tomato. it still tasted good, but wished i had the tomato too. The chilli i tried a little as he did warn me not to spread it like butter as it packs a punch. WOW that can kill any sinus problems.... so i had a teeny little only, will save the rest for later.

Looking forward to trying more sarmis from them soon

Saw that these guys were just up the road from my offices and decided to try something new. Being a busy day at the office I ordered through orderin and was rather disappointed. Rather pricey for the amount of food you get. Rather bland and underwhelmed and could barely cut through the Rye Panini I opted for. Not sure I'll be ordering from these guys again

I just love this place! Its a winner in every way:The food is really tasty,well-priced for the use of imported ingredients;the coffee is consistently good and well-priced relative to competitors in the area; and the staff is just grand!Always friendly and helpful service.Panini Brothers keep striving to deliver customer satisfaction and quality food.Thank you for being so great,it's always a pleasure visiting your cafè and interacting with your people!

Looking for a quick Lunch in Sandton - Panini Brothers is always my first choice.

It is a bit pricey and consistency would be good. I've had different experiences on each occasion I've bought a panini , some really good ones and days like today, where I have a sore jaw from the hard bread and oil dripping everywhere.

Keep it consistent and I'l be back.

Great service, but definitely need to find a new recipe for your chicken salad, to salty and cold refrigerated chicken is not very trustworthy or tasty, very expensive price for a not so delicious dish. Other than that very friendly service.

I didn't know this place existed, but how exciting that I found it. Delicious sandwiches all on panini bread. Tastes to meet everyone's interest. A vibey and really well thought out spot.

Wonderful lunch spot.

I work nearby and Panini brothers are my daily saviour. They not only make the most amazing paninis and pastas using quality imported products but their amazing sauces are made by mama (for real). The best part is they offer alternatives to their menu like 'design your own'! Be it a panini, pasta or salad... They even do half portions! I'm hooked and colleagues now call me a panini sister ;)

How I felt after receiving my order? Cheated and underfed. I thought they would give me a proper lunch panini but what I ended up with was what looked like half a panini and a rumbling stomach.

It all sounds so delectable on the menu but it's just an overpriced sandwich. Savage, I know. But when you pay R50 for a standard (aka 'small') panini, then you will know...and remember my words!

This take away was recommended to me by a work colleague as a great option for lunch. Today I felt like something other than canteen food so I gave it a try.
It's a small shop at the entrance to the centre and has a couple of tables outside but looks mainly like a take away. It has a comforting and authentic look and feel about it. Felt good.
I ordered a take away panini (obviously) and received excellent service. The guy who helped me was friendly, helpful and keen to assist.
The wait wasn't too long and gave me a chance to investigate everything else displayed in the shop. Nice selection of drink options, fresh produce and goodies.
The Karoo lamb in tomato based sauce panini I ordered smelt fantastic and had my mouth watering while I walked back to the office.
When I opened the plain plastic bag I was greeted by a clear plastic container with a regular sized panini (Dopio Zero baked) inside. It oozed lamb and red tomato based sauce. It smelled so mouth watering and looked good enough to eat, by the mouthful.
The dough of the panini was softish and very good. The lamb & sauce & onions were scrumptious. I really enjoyed my take away lunch.
Great recommendation and I can't wait to go back and try their other wares like the the pasta options next.
Guess I know where tomorrow's lunch is coming from.

30/09 - I've went back to try the pasta as promised.
I ordered the lamb penne pastas with mama's homemade sauce.
It was neatly presented in a sturdy plastic bowl and was swimming in sauce and packed with lamb pieces.
The pasta was cooked to al-dente perfection and the lamb tender and delicious. I loved this pasta and wolfed every drop down. I kept wishing my serving wouldn't come to an end. Overall a really excellent dish that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Being a loyal Vida e Caffè customer, I used to just drive past this place. But today, I decided to give it a try. The service got my takeaway panini was terrific and their menu sounds (and is) absolutely delicious and somewhat moreish. The panini took my mind back to Italy and the delicious deli foods they have there, but this place packs a whole lot more flavourful and creative punch! Cannot wait to go again!

Lovely little take away. Enjoyed my panini and loving the selection and fresh products. Enjoy the homemade goodies from nonas kitchen! Definitely worth a visit

Wanted to pop in for a quick work break lunch however found the service quite slow and it was rather pricey! The waiter was friendly and the food was fresh and tasty but wouldn't rush back in a hurry
Rich Torlage
The food was decent, but orders took time to get out the kitchen and the place wasn't very busy. I really don't think there should be a extra charges for rye bread.

The guys at Panini Bro's are the best, always serving with a smile! I have breakfast there 3 to 4 times a week and the main reason is the staff. And obviously because the Scrambled Egg and Bacon Panini is to die for. Keep up the great work guys!
Andrea
Try the spaghetti polpette

We are regulars at Panini Brothers, and even though I initially thought I did not like Paninis, I have been completely won over. The Paninis here are amazing, and there are so many to choose from, it is difficult to decide. In fact, we have decided to go through the menu from top to bottom and so far I have not been disappointed with any of them. If you work in Sandton and you haven't yet been, I definitely recommend a lunch visit.
