Review Fego Caffe - Sandton

Breakfast was good. Service was good. Cafe was not crowded. Had a Milo milkshake that was really good. Rare treat...a restaurant that serves lamb sausages.

Good service, good food. Reasonable price for quick breakfast. Another plus is the fact they are willing to replace ham with beef or lamb which is a big plus for ppl who avoid pork.

Had a Hazelnut Chocolate Latte and my favourite breakfast, French toast with bacon and honey. Service was great and the waiters were very efficient.

nice little eatery, opens early enough. i am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 because they could not make the signature fegoccino on this day.

I ordered mac n cheese stack with chicken and salad, it was nice and the presentation was nice.....staff very friendly

Why: You're in the middle of Woodmead Vakue Mart and you're too lazy to walk to the far end.<br/><br/>Why not: An R80 breakfast with no bread? Craft beer on the menu and not in the fridge? Bacon so fatty you may well die of cholesterol when you get up? So many reasons.

drinks(coffees) were cold.meals...45 minutes and still no sight of breakfast.Last time we chance this place!Also appears a foreign restaurant, comprehension and English appear second or 3rd languages here

Just had the worst Cajun Chicken wrap. So much lettuce in it, bland chicken, non-existent avocado & feta paste. I literally had to season it myself just to get some form of flavour. Never again!

You cant help but stop by here when you are in the center. This is second option for coffee if I'm not near woolies.Their menu is good but also slightly pricey. The food is good though. Portion sizes are normal.The menus are a bit sticky as well as tables not always cleaned well. I suppose because people get and up and enter so fast  that there leaves not enough time for the waiters to clean up.

I went to Fego Caffè with my mum for lunch a few days ago after a good day of shopping at Woodmead. The food was really good. I enjoyed every bite of it and I would love to eat here again. I'm not crazy about their drinks menu though. It needs more variety and the drinks all have weird tastes. Besides that I really enjoyed the dining experience.

Stopped in for a quick lunch during work. Nice little place with decent food. The service was also pretty decent and the food didnt take too long to come out. The burgers are really good and have decent sized and very tasty patties. The chips however are not the best and have a very weird after taste. I wouldnt mind going back there, but it wouldnt be my usual lunch spot as the prices are a bit too high to make it a regular stop.

False advertising!!!<br/><br/>Order a burger that says it has cheese and get a burger with no cheese! And loaded with mayo which the waiter says was cheese!<br/><br/>Never eating here again!!!

This has got to be the slowest service ever. Took 10mins to come take a drink order, drinks were finished ages ago, been sitting at the table for over 30mins now and no one comes to offer any more drinks or tell us why our order is taking so long. Place is empty only 2 other tables and not a waiter in site either!!

This is probably the only place to have a decent drink in this mini food court. The service is quick our server was really friendly she smiled the whole time. I must say this particular fego is somewhat of anomaly to me I'm used to the smaller establishment which have a to-go style with most food options in the fridge. I'm not super in love with their drink options I had a frappe caramel crunchie it tasted kinda blend with a bitter after taste. But the service is good.

After a long Easter weekend and going to a few restaurants in and around Jozie I think its time to give my experience. So came to Fego on Easter Sunday for a quick breakfast, the place wasn’t busy at all, in fact we may have been the only patrons at that time, and being the first customers you would think the quality of food would be good. We ordered some cuppaccinos and a toasted cheese and tomato on rye, easy enough you might think. The coffee was a little cold, after requesting them to be hot, and after they were reheated they were undrinkable. The toasted sandwich was average at best with the cheese not melted completely.

Was a nice light meal for the salad and good service. But the Tramazini was just way too rich and expected it to be a lot lighter. Friendly staff and environment.

<br/>While shopping in Woodmead and the hunger pangs hit we decided to go to Fego. It seemed the best choice in the centre.<br/><br/>Skimming through the menu we chose a toasted mince and mozzarella sarmie on rye with chips, this was a special request and the waitress was happy to assist. I chose the Dolce Salad which was a  chicken kebab with  bacon bits, feta, avocado(seasonal), corn, pumpkin seeds, shredded lettuce & roasted cherry tomatoes with olive oil & balsamic vinegar dressing & served with a toasted ciabatta. For drinks we had the cappuccino and and the caramel milkshake which was delicious.<br/><br/>I love the outside area as it was a lovely day to sit outside and enjoy the summer rays.<br/><br/>When our food arrived it looked amazing but to my dismay was not great at all. The chips tasted like frozen potatoes stuck in a fryer and my salad was not great at all. Even with the great combo of ingredients and my copious amounts of balsamic and olive oil it lacked flavor. The ciabatta was great though. Will definitely not go back. I like to start my day with a good meal but that set my Sunday off on a terrible start. #ZomatoJackAurelias

This place has friendly service where the manager really does go out of his way to give you what you want.<br/>I wanted a Coconut Mocha Crunch which looked delicious on their menu but served hot, the manager did a cold version for us which was so good.<br/>The salads came looking so appetizing and the full portion Gucci Salad really looked a good size unfortunately most of the salad was lettuce and not so much of the smoked salmon trout, avo, cottage cheese, crated carrot and cherry tomatoes. I had the half portion Versace II salad which was enough for one person but again mainly lettuce and hardly any of the other vegetables promised. I also found the Halloumi cheese a bit hard. Both salads did have on the menu mixed lettuce but both came with only one type of lettuce, it would be nice if most of the salad is going to be lettuce to have a bit of rocket and maybe other types.<br/>The Tramezzini was enjoyed and again they were very accommodating as the bacon was replaced with chicken with no problems. So it was with Chicken, Feta and Avocado. The other meals were the Cajun Chicken Wrap and the Cajun Chicken & Chouriço burger served with chips, also enjoyed.

Great mobile office. Each table had laptops and files open with mobile phones ringing routinely. Nice working in a group setting with complete strangers all focused on getting out work done. The service was good and the food fresh. Solid spot!!!

Probably one of the poorer examples of a Fego. I think the location that makes this spot feel extremely chaotic during the day, and makes meeting here really tense. I've had a few average meals here, though the coffees are probably what you should stick to.

Good shade to hide away from this scorching sun and well ventilated at that. I always enjoy the food here and can catch up with some work on a busy yet silent afternoon. The service is good and so is the food.

Another breakfast at Fego. Always a consistent restaurant and great coffee. Service is always good. So makes the time spent here more pleasant. Will be back for sure.

Always love going to Fego and this chain was especially nice. Staff was very efficient and friendly,food was great as always!! Love their coffee varieties . Thank you Fego,Woodmead,will be back

The casual café can get quite busy due to the location.<br/>I think that this may be the reason for the slow service. I wouldn't sit down if in a rush.<br/><br/>The salads are well proportioned, but mediocre. My lunch companion found that the Cajun chicken in the Fendi salad was not sufficiently spicy. My Versace II salad was missing an ingredient and the staff failed to inform me.<br/> <br/>I do, however, think the coffee is good. Try the white chocolate cioccino.<br/><br/>I have previously enjoyed all the breakfasts that I have ordered. Thankfully breakfast is served all day, that is what I will stick to ordering in future.
