For the so called premier shopping centre on africa the standards must be low Escalators not working the escalator in woolworths parking lot has been broken for six months The escalator in the protea court is regularly broken The escalators outside the nandos are regularly broken There are tiny lifts which are dimly lit The lift in the woolworths court is broken. The Muslim prayer rooms smell like burning pizza with all the fumes from jb rivers blowinginto them. The parking payment machines are regularly broken The exit booms are broken also If you have to rate sandton city I would give it 1/10 Whereas dubai mall would get 9/100

The escalators in the mall don’t work. On every visit to the mall I notice that some escalators are out of order. Sandton city is the largest and best mall in Africa. This is really poor service . The toilets don’t have hooks on the back of the doors to hang a handbag or coat. How does a person use the toilet if they have to hold their handbag in their hand. Secondly some of the toilet stalls are so small, a medium sized person battles to enter and leave the stall without touching the toilet. Please attend to these matters urgently

Terrible experience at Zara at Sandton. This is the last time I will EVER shop at the disgusting excuse for a retail store that is Zara Sandton city. Queues over 40 minutes long, staff unresponsive, till equipment available but not being used. Good luck Zara and Sandton. I will drive out of my way to shop elsewhere and I know many others will do the same.

Shopping floors are world class. But to have to walk 5 minutes and somehow get down 2 floors to go to the restroom from the premier event SA Fashion Week is third world. Over 500 people you are inviting to Sandton City and not one toilet. Shame on you

Don’t know if they have changed the cleaning company but lately bathrooms are very dirty no toilet paper ! Worse the one upstairs by the salons opposite le Looks when you walk through the passage you get an urine smell!

I am experiencing such appalling treatment from the Zara Sandton sales staff. The lady at the till apologized so many times on behalf of her colleagues. The Xhosa guy and the girl folding jeans at this instant need extensive training in people skills and manner of approach. #disgusted
