Kauai is one of my favorite fast food places. Their food is so healthy and I love their amazing smoothies. This place has some the best wraps made from the freshest ingredients. I definitely would recommend here for lunch on the go, or even breakfast!
Excellent quality, quick service. It's a little on the pricey side but you are guaranteed fresh food and quality. Never disappointed. I tried the Princess Wrap it was packed with healthy goodness. The protein bars are amazing and I had a small breakfast with bread.
Dropped by for a quick takeaway, cobb salad and a smoothie.

Still can't get over the fact that they have changed the menu! The previous one was so good and I remembered wanting to eat Kauai every weekend because not only was it healthy but also delicious. I really struggled to pick a smoothie during my last visit as the range was very limited and none of them appealed to me much... for the wraps I had a Thai crunch which was disappointing as everything tasted raw, un-mixed and barely any flavour.
Ordered the new salted caramel protein smoothie and was super impressed. It was tasty, not overly sweet, and kept me full until dinner time. I will definitely order again!
^ in comparison to other Kauais, your waiting time is longer but the food, as well as the drinks are good. Servers are helpful and it's my go-to spot when shopping at the mall and the hunger hits.
Situated in the midst of the busy Sandton city shopping center it's the rare find healthy option food outlet. The fruit and veg smoothies are tasty and nutritious. The wraps and salad bowls are also good - though the wraps are quite small portion sized. Seating is shared amongst all the other unhealthy food outlets like Krispy Creme and Debonairs
Kauai! After the revamp of their look, I felt more attracted to such a place; the new menus, the new logo, it all felt very melennial, very age appropriate. I am very impressed with the service of this particular outlet, as well as the food and drinks being served, even though at first I thought health meant tasteless, I can confirm that I was wrong, there is great flavour In their servings. Why not stop by and check them out!

The avocado used in the wrap was so fresh and creamy - my absolute favorite.
The Mango Berry smoothie had more berries than anything else, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Although, I don't think that's the way it was meant to be made
Definitely returning with high expectations that are more than likely to be exceeded, as the service was pretty top notch this and every other time I've gone to Kauai.
Had lunch at kauai today. And I must say I will always come back for the food.
I ordered a princess wrap together with a strawberry stinger. The service was absolutely amazing, my food was literally done in 5 minutes. The wrap was literally mouth blowing. It was fresh and delicious.
I highly enjoyed meal.
I've been coming to this Kauai for ages and have always had a good experience.
Their food is always fresh, the staff are friendly and you never have to wait too long to get your grub.
My personal favourites are the Moroccan Wrap and the Mexi Wrap but their Signature Bowls are really tasty too.

The smoothies are always a winner! We tried the "peanut butter bliss" and the "gem" smoothies. They were both delicious.
I had the Thai chicken wrap and my mom had the tuna wrap! I had mine on a gluten free wrap (which was actually so tasty). I could also taste that the ingredients used were super fresh!
Overall really tasty and healthy lunch. Will be back soon. 🌯🌯
Finding places to have a healthier meal is difficult but Kauai definitely has filled my need! Often one to opt for a good wrap? Then this is definitely the place to go. I enjoy them however I'm not much of a big fan of wraps but their smoothies are to die for. Great early morning snack for those (like me) who are extremely lazy to make our own. Definitely the place to be!
This is probably the only establishment at the food court I've actually dined at,the food court is real here getting one seat is like hunger games ey. I love that Kauai has their buzzers and all its near impossible hearing an order number in the midst of all that chaos. The food there is of similar quality to any other Kauai but the presentation isn't all that but that pays credit to that its in a hella busy food court it's like this tiny sandwiched shop unlike the new one it menlyn.
Through Vitality active rewards, I've tried so many of their tasty smoothies. Coco mango is my favourite thus far. The service at this branch is great. I love the menu revamp. Loads of menu changes and the smoothies are delicious. Amazing salads too!
New look and feel in this franchise takeout in Sandton City fast food court. A healthy alternative to other "junk" fast foods. Always opt for the peanut butter bombe smoothie.
Cashiers are friendly and efficient. The only disadvantage is that there are no seats for Kauai customers and you will have to find seats at the food court which is impossible during lunch time! But staff are efficient and food is good!
It is a healthy way to eat for me I do say.
I like the restaurant and its other located restaurants because it is healthy and you know it is freshly made. I especially like the peanut butter and mango smoothie so I would recommend them.

If there's one thing SA could use more of, it's healthy fast food restaurants (and a reliable postal service). Kauai has risen to the challenge, and they've done a truly remarkable job! Not only is their food fresh and healthy (look out for the pamphlet with detailed nutritional info for each meal), but it's also TASTY! I highly recommend the chai tea, the flu buster tea, and the fruit and veg juice (which sounds gross, but it ridiculously yummy and so so healthy). All the food is delicious, and the smoothies are made with fresh, low fat ingredients so they're guilt free. For take outs, it's my favourite!
This branch of Kauai is in the midst of all sorts of unhealthy options in the Sandton City food court and is a wonderful respite from your typical take out food. I love eating at Kauai. Their dishes are refreshingly healthy and I don't feel like I've just eaten a whole cow when I've eaten here.
My preferred choices are the hummus sandwich and salmon wrap. I normally choose the strawberry stinger as a drink or the superfood smoothie which I also love.

So it's a Friday afternoon, and you are suffering from a hunger you can't physically describe, you want lunch but the options on the canteen menu (chicken feet, boerewors and fish) are a no go, so you decide to head to Sandton City (which is a nightmare at lunch time).
Being a young lass, who is looking for something healthier than a burger and chips, you turn to Kauai. Besides from having a range of healthy options, their service is really quick, which is perfect for a busy lunch time (I got my food before all my colleagues who ordered from other restaurants in the food court). You get given a blue coaster type thing, that buzzes and lights up to alert you when your order is ready to pick up, so you don't have to stand waiting to hear if your order number is called.
I can highly recommend their Thai wrap (anything with fresh coriander gets my vote) and their smoothies are always delicious.
I went in for lunch on Saturday. The service was quick and the staff were friendly.
I wanted to do a sit down but they noted that it is take away only and I could eat in the food court. Usually the food is presented in plates but here had to eat from the wrapper.
I had the Sriracha chicken wrap which was good and consistent with other branches.
There was no real atmosphere as I had to eat in the food court.
The order was a little bit chaotic but I got exactly the wrap that I ordered although I had to change some ingredients due to my fructose intolerance. It took a while to prepare my wrap but it was crowdy so I could expect that! The wrap tasted really good and the ingredients were really fresh!
Tried their Avo No Bull burger and was pleasantly surprised by how pleasant it tasted. So glad I was willing to give it a try, considering that my experience with other black bean burgers have not been great. The combination of rockets, red onions, and the slice of tomato with a toasted bun made it an overall happy affair although it was a bit weird how the bottom bit of the burger seemed "cold/room temperature" compared to the top bit with the burger and toasted top part of the bun. Order was processed fairly quickly.
Update: of late 2022+ they have improved their their service, no complaints so far, good job!

Great food when they get your order right. I've had it twice now where the ingredients are wrong - e.g. Plant Power wrap is missing orange. This can be solved by just telling the customer when they take the order that they're out of that ingredient (if it's not incompetence when making the wrap). Will no longer order from there.
Wide variety of protein bowls and smoothies, lots of healthy options. They don’t give unnecessary packaging as well. 👍🏼
Always quick, on the ball and the products taste amazing. Go here almost daily and never had a problem.

We ordered a beef morrocan wrap but git a chicken morrocan wrap. Wrap was fresh and tasty.
