The Keg and Filly is a great pub with a great vibe anytime or day of the week. The friendly staff is always willing to be of assistance. Awesome selection of beers and shooters. With regards to food, the fisherman's basket is the option I always resort to and it is great pub food. I also tried the chicken curry bunny which disappointed in many aspects (lack of flavour and taste, it was basically chicken cooked with cumin, and brown bread does not do justice to a bunny). I would rather stick to strictly pub food such as the baskets.
We came on a Friday where they had some amazing live music, good vibe and the drinks flowed!

Stopped by there yesterday for a cold brew... and it just feels like home. My mate had his 2 year old twins with him and not once did it feel like they were unsafe or not looked after. I think it might time for a restyle though...
We came here for a nice dinner with a client from Germany, and it was AMAZING!!

I had the crumbed chicken snitzel with the KEG Prego sauce. It was really good...especially after an ice cold beer! The plate came with chips and some veggies, all of which went down well.
Definitely worth the visit, and reasonable prices! It can, however, get quite noisy
A place where people know you by name...where as much as the setting is old and gone with the years...the service and staff compliment still standa out for a drink at the end of the day...
Great place, lovely ambience, soccer on the screens and great service too. Perfect setting to spend a lazy weekend evening over a couple of beers. Surely gonna come back!
On arrival at Keg and Filly, the staff were great and very accommodating. We had a number of drinks and a modest plate to eat and the bill didn't leave me depressed. In addition, the staff was very concerned about our safety in the pouring rain, more so than making big money off us - so refreshing.

Nice, quite place to have a beer and hang out with some easy friends. I see they have quiz night in Tuesday. I don't see a DJ box so it's unlikely that they have extremely loud nights. You never know though.
Great place for sport screenings. Football matches are always fun to watch here. Die hard fans usually book out tables for big matches, so on big game days finding a table without making a reservation can be difficult. The finger food adds to the pub vibe and the chicken and fishermans baskets are good game sharers.
