Super chilled vibes, incredibly friendly and helpful staff and amazing food! Definitely our new local spot for a great meal and a few pink drinks. Oh... and have the Xia-Xia cocktail, you won’t be disappointed.

Brightly and beautifully decorated pub right opposite Morningside Clinic and city lodge.
What a lovely pleasure to the senses , Mozambican inspired themed pub.
Lots of tables inside and out - the staff was attentive and we had someone passing frequently to come ask if all is okay. Lovely big delicious portions of food sizes , fresh crunchy food . Live music just adds that touch.
The toilets where all clean and filled with toilet paper. Every place had a touch of thought even the ceiling has flags. wonderful non snotty place to hang out in Sandton.
Mozambique without the beach. Definitely worth a visit to this little gem. Great specials on Fridays for prawns and it doesn't disappoint. Live music is the cherry on top; Old school rustic vibes.
A great Mozambican themed restaurant in Sandton. They specialise in all the classic Mozambican dishes. The prawns are great and come in a variety of bastings. Overall the food was excellent and so was the service from the staff. They have daily specials and live music on some days. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. There is also a disabled accessible toilet downstairs. Ample parking is available.
The meal was good but it seemed as if the chicken was not fresh.

I had such an amazing experience with Carlos and his team with our lunch order today. Carlos takes pride in offering great service with impeccable standards. Our food was deliciously prepared and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Happy customer and will definitely return! Even though this was a pick up order, I look forward to the days when we can sit down and enjoy the full value of this beautiful gem of a restaurant.
The best Portuguese in town. We have a lovely time over here everytime we go. It's like a little taste of Mozambique
First visit last night. Great staff, all super friendly and attentive. Casual, wooden bench type seating outside. I am not an expert on Portuguese cuisine - I did enjoy the meal and it was most certainly well priced! The Portuguese acoustic style live music added to the atmosphere.
I had the sardines for started and it was so extremely nice, I could've had a main of that (which they do have). And then had 1/2 kg peril butter prawns, it was equally nice. And value for money. Well priced cocktail jugs as well. People are friendly. It was just a very nice evening... thanks
Food was great had a chicken curry with rice. Great especially in this cold weather. Waiters very friendly and service with a smile. Great atmosphere. Well done Laurentina. Will see you soon.
Was at this restaurant on Thursday 9th January 2020. We were all so disappointed by the standard of the food. Although tasty the baby chickens were dry. The chips stale and the salad terrible! The hake and mash were substandard. I will never visit this restaurant again.
From the moment I walked through the door I could smell such amazing spices. The environment was inviting, which is contrary to some of the other restaurants in Sandton. My food was absolutely amazing. The “Espetada Mista” is delicious and a great go to on the menu.
There was a manager there who was so amazing and attentive to my experience there. His name is Carlos and he’s actually from Mozambique (where this resturant gets it theme).
I have been there twice now and the food was even better than the last time I had gone there. 150% recommend this place for excellent food and vibes.
