Pretty Interesting setup, I have to say. Restaurant downstairs, and something of a club upstairs. There is an elevator to access the areas alongside the stairs, but both entrances do require stairs, so wheelchair accessibility might be hampered. So whatever mood you're in, you're sorted. More than enough parking around the building as its part of a shopping center, so no worries on that front. Food selection is okay, note as wide as one would hope, but not too bad and the food that I had was great. Pricing of said food and drinks is what you'd expect to pay at a spot in the Bryanston Area.

What stood out the most was not just the quality of the cocktails but also the genuine passion the staff displayed. They were not just serving drinks; they were crafting experiences. Each cocktail felt like a work of art, beautifully presented and expertly balanced.

My wife had her company's end year function here. We both had 3 course meals for the night. We ordered Thai chicken skewers, focaccia, sirloin steak, deboned peri chicken, Sinclair, and creme brulee. Everything were made to perfection, cooked to the right temperature, and everything on the plate goes well together. They also have amazing cocktails. Overall, great experience. Will be back when we are in the area again.

Beautiful decor, very stylish and elegant. Central with a great menu and bar service. Live Music on Thursday night was a bonus with great balcony views. Would definitely recommend!

The restaurant is extremely aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The decor is absolutely gorgeous. There is a good variety of cuisines on the menu. It is rather on the pricey end of the spectrum but it is worth it. The sushi was fantastic. It does rather get loud as the evening grows older. If that's your thing, then you are at the right place

The food was absolutely delicious. I had the BBQ Beef ribs, it comes with chips but i got a salad on the side. The ribs had just enough sauce and they were falling off the bone, would definitely recommend this dish! Im not sure what the cocktail was as the waiter suggested it but it was Gin based and sooooo tasty. For dessert i had the carrot cake and it was moist and so tasty.
I'll definitely be coming back again.

Went there for my friend’s birthday dinner and I must say that it was really nice. I enjoyed the entire time. There is even a club once you are done enjoying your food and you can go enjoy the music and sit down and relax. The food is not even that expensive. You can spend less than R200

This restaurant not only has an incredibly beautiful setting, the food and service is up there with the very best in South Africa - and that’s saying a lot given that we have such awesome restaurants. Definitely recommend you give it a try. Caution portion sizes are substantial.

I tried to order food on the second level (bar area) asked 2 waiters and both said they could not take food orders..., after the second waiter's unhelpful response I had to sort out myself with a sandwich from Hobart Spar...
Not really what I had in mind for an evening out.... staff attitude can be toned down a notch or two.

Not new to the Rockets brand, having supported their Parkhurst branch for some years now -
Their relatively new Rockets Bryanston in Hobart Centre is a 4 storey impressive site with incredible views of Joburg, restaurant facilities, bars and top events venue area. My wife Gen's birthday get together last night was well organised by the Rockets staff, we were well looked after the entire evening and was great fun had by all.

What a slick and good experience.I went to Rockets after a series of lunches and I had the cheese board which I enjoyed but the rest of the menu looked incredible.
A negative incident happened which could have ruined my night, but thanks to the intervention of the management, Dennis and more especially the lady manager whose name escapes me, ensured that I left the place in good spirits
Thank you all for your efforts. Life happens, but its always good to see people out there who restore one's faith in humanity

The service at the bar was non existent and it was not busy (3pm). The barman are not friendly at all. They are pushy with tipping assuming a R20 tip is on one drink and then saying they don't have change.Crazy price of R108 for 2 tequilas! I then opened a tab with a waiter to avoid the bar. I was handed my bill before I even called for it. He ALSO didn't bring me change-i never saw him again. Won't be back.

The focaccia was yum and the cheese board, oh so delicious. The nachos need a fair bit of work. The salsa and guacamole need some serious seasoning as the nachos are bland. They make one of the best red cappuccinos. I wish they would lower the music in the dining area.

The restaurant is lovely - superb food. A little noisy if you want conversation but this adds to the 'trendy' vibe. We had the most amazing waiter which made it even more pleasant and enjoyable. He definitely is more host than waiter and Management should look at utilising his skills to full capacity. He was on the ball, polite, well spoken and attentive.
The only negative for me was that we were in the corner booth near the entrance and the waiters sat on the back edge of our seat.
All in all though excellent food and value for money.

I have always like Rockets from their Parktown days. Excellent food and service for reasonable prices. Always a viby ambience. They did a lot of work with the new venue. It is is upmarket and they cater for all tastes and functions. I will keep on supporting them.
