This is a nicely positioned restaurant. It has a large glass indoor/outdoor balcony that overlooks the square. There is alot of natural light and fresh air circulating through the restaurant. The food was good and very tasty. The service was very good. We enjoyed our experience!

We celebrated my mothers 60th Birthday Lunch at Pappas on the Square & could not have asked for a better venue. The food was really delicious and staff were an absolute pleasure. The venue went over and beyond to ensure the day went great. Charles helped organize the Belly Dancer for us, who finished the day off perfectly!

Love what they did with the “Street Food” section, so much more inviting and so sat down outside for the first time. The street food options are so much more affordable than sitting down inside the restaurant and love this option for quick easy smaller portions. The freshly squeezed juice are so tasty &refreshing😋

Amazingly beautiful Greek restaurant...food was superb with a huge filling and wide variety to choose from the menu.... service was excellent with very friendly waiters and we received our order in a very short time despite them being very busy.... The ambience was amazing as well........ conveniently located at Nelson Mandela Square not far from Radisson Blu and a few metres from Sandton Station.... totally worth the visit and value for money.....

We celebrated our 12 year anniversary here. Simply the best Seafood Platter in Joburg. The mussels were absolutely creamy and mouth watering. A very generous portion of prawns and langoustine served with crispy calamari and soft, tender fish. The waiter was fast, efficient and friendly. The owner came around and introduced himself and even offered a cigar. A warm and inviting atmosphere with a lovely view of the square. I enjoyed the sunshine peeping through the patio plants. Made me feel like I was somewhere in the Mediterranean.

Papas on the square is a Greek cuisine, can oversee the Nelson Mandela square, the waiter was very attentive

It's an amazing restaurant. With the best view of the square. The service was tentative and preemptive. Our waiter was superb.
Food is also as impeccable as the service.

Food was good. My steak Camembert was wonderful, perfectly cooked. Nice ambiance overlooking the square. There was also dancer who entertained and plate throwing. They have a mixed choice food for every palate.

I have eaten at Papas many times, and have had a wonderful experience each time.
The restaurant has great and delicious foods and the staff and managers are always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant when in Sandton.

Pulled lamb pita and creamed spinach is the best.
I only suggest that they up their number od staff during the festive season to speed up service.

It is a very nice place. They kept on serving us with food so it was a night we'll spent. Ambience was top and you could see people are enjoying. The food was delicious as well. Only minus for me was their Pina Colada cocktail. It could have been better.
