Not one plate of food was a disappointment, from starters to mains.
Normally with these restaurants everything is excellent right up until desserts - not here. The desserts are excellent.
Setting is good, the cool Jazz music even better. Man I have my new favourite restaurant!
We went to signature for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. They made our evening so special. The food was amazing and staff friendly. “Joseph” did an outstanding job of helping us with great recommendations for food and special drinks. He went out of his way to make our evening a success. You will be seeing us again for sure.

My 13 year old's most favourite restaurant, we have eaten there for more than 6 times. She loves Signature. Excellent food and service, love the ambience.
I always enjoy going to Signature. The staff are very hospitable and have always made my experience a pleasure. The food is great and the ambience is definitely one of the highlights of going here. It can be a bit pricey depending on what you get but it has always been worth it for me.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at Signature celebrating my birthday. I enjoyed a shellfish platter, which was absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional and really added to making my birthday special. We will definitely return here for another celebration or just to enjoy the delicious meals Signature has to offer.
We had a wonderful evening at Signature Morningside. Excellent service and friendly waitrons. The live band set a romantic and relaxing atmosphere all round. The food was delicious, However the sushi was very standard and small in size not worth it for the price. Great resturant to celebrate special occasions.
What an upmarket, classy restaurant this is. Perfect for date night or an important celebration. Dress up to the nines and prepare to be impressed. The ambiance is superb with a live band to serenade you all night. I ordered the fillet steak, which was made to my liking. Service was on point! I I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful spot! Friendly staff and great food. I enjoyed everything from the starter to dessert! I forgot to snap a photo of the dessert, but I had the berry semifreddo, which was absolutely divine. My salmon salad was served with regular eggs as the chef didn’t think the quail eggs were up to standard.
I’m a lover of good bread, and I must say, the table bread was also amazing! With the beetroot butter and curry butter.
I had a peek at my ‘table neighbors’ dessert selection, which was the Signature Soufflé. It smelt so divine that I’ll be returning for that.

The food was to die for, I cannot fault it. Went there in a large group but they handled us quite well. The restrictions against noise though I am bit put off by but it’s okay because it’s Signature
My fiancé and I celebrated our anniversary here. From the moment you enter, you step into a relaxed, well decorated, sophisticated, fine dining environment with attentive, and responsive service from the front staff to the waiters. Throughout the whole menu there is a seam of thoughtfulness, of care, and of course, immense detail. Without a doubt our dishes were not just beautifully constructed plates built on the foundation of quality ingredients but also overwhelmingly delicious! I have to say they were the best prawns I’ve had! Drinks are a little on the pricey side however looked and tasted good too!
Where to begin? This fine dining haunt is perfect for the poised professional who demands the best of herself and those around her. It is ideal for a martini lunch - I'm certain distinguished businessmen have signed bank-busting deals seated in one of the booths on the restaurants floor. The service is of a superior standard and the food is award-winning.
Signature is your friend when you want to celebrate your birthday with class; it will light the candles to ignite the passion between lovers during a romantic dinner date. Though the restaurant was reasonably full, the maître d swiftly accommodated us.
Their food is cooked to perfection and well seasoned (a little too well with some dishes), but all in all I has a lovely time at Desmond Mabuza's restaurant.
Upmarket yet cosy and romantic. Fabulous food. Great wine selection. Wonderful for a special occasion. Have an after-dinner glass of bubbly in the lounge to end your evening with some pizazz

One of my better fine dining experinces, from the friendly staff to the calm and soothing ambiance this place radiates. There is light live music that plays in the background which just adds to the vibe. The food was amazing and of a high quality.
Very good. Wide offer of starters and mains. Sushi on the nenu as well. Going sushi combos, the quality is high and very tasty sushi and sashimi. Very nice service, parking outside, for sushi 35-40€/pax. A must try!

Loved every bit of this Restaurant! The ambience is great and they had live musician's when we were there.
The waiters were absolutely friendly and professional so to speak.
We started off with an onion soup and Greek salad and then proceeded to have Queen prawns and a chocolate brownie for dessert.
I've tried better dessert and better greek salads at other fine dining restaurants but the prawns and the soup was in a class of it's own.
It's really great if you go at sunset because you can watch the sun set as there is a terrific view of jhb in the restaurant.
Definitely will go again!
Mmmm I was here for a office lunch and I was in two minds the decor and feeling was old and very stiff well for the price it must be stiff. I had a salad that was superb but the fillet was not worth the money not at all! Will definitely not be paying myself for Dinner here as it's overpriced....
Very pleasant evening with exceptional back round music. Service was great, what you would expect from a restaurant in this price range.
The rockerfella oyster starter was divine and highly recommended.
Main course.. Lamb shank was however disappointing. Meat was tender but somehow dry. The pork ribs were pleasant and tasty. However they could serve the ribs with 6 sumo chips instead of 4. Overall a pleasant dinning experience.

I love the location and the setting. Food is good, desserts are even better. The service is.. hard to judge. I found one waitress to be quite rude and another waiter to be wonderful. It's just overly pretentious.
Signature is always an excellent choice. A couple of days ago I went for dinner with a couple of my colleagues. The waiter recommended a signature dish - salmon stuffed in another fish. One of my personal favorites from now on. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to enjoy the wine I wanted, the bottles are pretty expensive and me being the accountant that I am, I can’t justify paying double the price of wine I can get cheaper at Tops or Makro😊
In my limited experience with fine dining I've usually had mediocre experiences - the food generally looks amazing but lacks depth and flavor. Signature proved otherwise - the Greek salad was delicious. I had the chicken supreme - also amazing. The trio creme brûlée was decadent- my favorite being the bar one. Lovely experience, service was top notch and the musicians were a great added touch.

Without doubt the most elegant restaurant in Johannesburg. The staff is very accommodating and pays attention to every detail, to the smallest thing like replacing a fork that fell unnoticed. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, with amazing live music. The food is to die for. A huge variety to choose from and the waiters' recommendations are definitely something to listen to. Pricey, but worth every cent for the food service and any special occasion that Signature makes more special.
Food was delicious. Had the fillet and was prepared to perfection. The dessert was also very good. Prices were higher than average but service and food was excellent.
Wow where to start! The food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The atmosphere was very calming, with soft piano playing in the background, really set a spectacular atmosphere. And the staff was absolutely amazing.
The restaurant itself is lovely , with the beautiful view and the calming live music but for the quality of some of the food it was just too overpriced and that tainted it for me, never-mind the mark-up on wine, which is just excessive - 250%!? Sushi, however was really great I will say, and the chocolate fondant delicious, but my steak was overdone and the flavors not that great. I'd much rather go to a place like Marble etc for meat if I am going to pay that price...Service is very attentive and staff are friendly and welcoming so no complaints there at all. The evening was still really lovely, but I just feel if a restaurant charges such prices, all dishes should be worth the bill at the end.
Firstly the best and most professional service I have ever experienced. Atmosphere alive, warm and happening. All our dishes were outstanding. Well presented and amazing flavors. Well return for many more.

Had the yummiest seafood platter here. The service here is impeccable. The food was really good. Everything was marinated in a variety of flavours and each was delicious. The price is steep. Best to save this for a special occasion. Live music was wonderful.

This was my second visit to Signature and this time I chose it for the most important day in my calendar, my birthday. The vibe here is great, right up my alley. Love the live music which isn't too loud, had a great view of the stage as well as of sandton had we were seated by the booth like area. I'm 35% sure our waiter was Martin and he was fantastic lol. To start I ordered the salmon fashion sandwich, main was the queen prawns and everything was divine, I honestly can not fault anything even if i tried. At the end of the meal our waiter brought me a complimentary ice cream with a candle and the musician played a little happy Birthday song 😊. Had a really great experience and would like to thank Signature for making my day even better. Ps. What sort of people get their names on knives?

Lovely restaurant, great for a romantic dinner, ordered sushi and since I've never had sushi before I can't really compare it although I would order it again. Also had the Ferrero Roche tiramisu and it was divine. The staff was very professional and pleasant and they had vast knowledge of the menu and wine list which is always a plus.
I am never disappointed when I come to this long time favourite. The food is ALWAYS amazing & the service is on point. The waiters are very attentive & treat their customers very well. From opening doors for you, pulling out your chair & always making sure that your wine glass is filled. It is obviously an expensive restaurant but everything is worth EVERY cent you spend. Definitely one of my favourite dining experiences in Joburg.
Signature is such a beautiful restaurant and whenever I go there I really feel quite special. This is due to the amazing hosting that the exhibit. The waiters are so attentive and you really are treated so well. When restaurants tend to be more pricey I am far more critical and really feel like all aspects need to be on point. Signature definitely lived up to my standards. Delicious food, great ambience and amazing hostesses. Lovely evening!
Second time at Signature and I was just as impressed at the first time. Hands down some of the most incredible food! The service is fantastic, friendly, attentive and very professional and knowledgeable! It's definitely a splurge, with nothing on the menu under R150, but totally worth it! I am certainly coming back, rather sooner than later! Excellent!
Excellent service, menu has good food options and the cooking is very good. My wife's favourite spot. When I bought her a new car I took her, my mother inlaw, niece and nephew to celebrate, when I want to spoil her and want a calm mellow not too flashy but exquisite spot with the perfect colour and lighting that'd the spot. Signature restaurant has definitely earned its status as one of Joburg's top restaurants.
Everything about our dining experience last night was exceptional:
The service is excellent - waiters and managers are very attentive and we never had to wait to get anyone's attention.
The ambience was lovely and the resident band enhanced the cosy atmosphere with their laid-back almost smooth jazz-style renditions of various songs.
The wine list is very extensive and you are spoilt for choice, but the cheapest bottle is about R240 - so be prepared to splash out.
For appetisers the fresh bread rolls were served with standard butter, beetroot butter & curry butter - the latter half I absolutely loved. I jokingly asked the waitress to see whether the chef would share the delicious recipe with me & a few minutes later she surprised me with the recipe from the kitchen.
For mains I had the Wild mushroom risotto and my friend had the Orange glazed salmon. While both were delicious, my risotto was without doubt the best I have ever had in Joburg by far!
Dessert consisted of the Berry Semifreddo and the Rose water, toasted almond and ginger panna cotta. Both desserts did not disappoint, but the semifreddo was divine.
The bill came to just over R1000, so it's definitely a place to go if you have money to splurge on a night out. It is well worth the visit though & I'll definitely be back to test out the other desserts on the menu.

Probably the best layout of a fine dining restaurant in the Country. Pricing is competitve for what you get however the quality of the food is not superlative and probably surpassed by establishments such as Pigalle and Fishmonger.
I enjoyed my evening from start to finish! The service was excellent. The food was perfection. We had this crispy calamari salad which blew my mind! And those flavored butters served with their starter bun melted my soul! We celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Signature and I couldn't find a single fault with this beautiful restaurant! Went there for our anniversary and what an experience ! Classy interior, prompt and professional service and dishes to die for. Plating of the dishes an artwork on its own. You might not be able to afford it to come back but you'll always want to. Justifies being rated one of the best restaurants in Johannesburg.

This was second visit to Signature and I was slightly disappointed. The food quality was excellent, but the service wasn't great. I had my management team with me and the wine glasses were frequently empty and we had to call the staff to order more to drink. Not ideal

Wow!! What an awesome establishment. Beautifully appointed and a magnificent view if you are lucky enough to get a window seat. The staff are extremely professional and most courteous. The food is fantastic. The starters were simply memorable. Steak tartare, beef carpaccio and calamari salad. Main courses were generous in quantity and utterly delicious. We had prawns, kingklip on the bone, a lamb rack and duck. Unfortunately no space for dessert!! I can't wait to go back!!
Longstanding upmarket venue in Morningside. You will be dining with the political and social - who's - who. The food is above average, the service outstanding and the wine section beyond reproach. If pretense is your comfort zone - this is the Restuarant of your dreams. Highly recommended for special occasions.
I haven't been to Signature for a while but needed a venue for an overseas guest who likes seafood and we decided go there. Definitely a good choice which means its now back on my radar whenever i'm craving seafood.
The Bouillabaisse starter was a hit and you don't often find this at many restaurants. The lamb rump was rich but tasty, calamari delicious and i loved my platter of prawns and langostines. We shared a fruit platter which was lovely and fresh and definitely too big for one person.
Simolinah (apologies if i got the spelling wrong) was delightful - friendly and on the ball and gave us good menu recommendations.
The live music was a plus although the number of bithdays being celebrated was quite something...I felt we were the only table not having a birthday. :-)
Next time i'll go back I'll ask for a table with a view and not where we were sitting (near the door to the bar) as every now and then I got a whiff of cigar smoke.
But all in all....great seafood and great service!

Flavours: Very playful flavours. Each meal was pretty distinct. My partner and I had starters (I had the lobster tail and he had the oyster rockafella). I devoured most of BOTH starters. The lobster was prepared very well: not overcooked, well seasoned and paired well with the betroot enfused side yums yums. The oysters were lovely too. Usually not a fan of oysters but these I enjoyed mainly because of the hollandaise sauce and the spinach. Absolute genius! Mains were good as well. I had the beef medallions which were good, well prepared (enjoyed my starter more) and my partner had the Signature trio which was lovely because it was a little piece of everything. Succulent quail and duck and juicy pork belly 👌🏾 all 3 cuts were prepared with respect and really held their own on the trio plate.
Plating: Expertly done. Made me feel very lavish and sophisticated, in line with the vibe of the place
Servings: Very reasonable portions. You can get moderately full on 2 courses over 3 hours with a bottle of wine. If you stretch dinner for longer, you can probably fit in a shared dessert comfortably.

Really can't fault them on much. Very classy venue, more than competent staff and premium food. If you're looking for a sure thing and you're willing to pay a little extra for the dining experience, I would recommended this establishment. We had dessert which was beautiful presented. Next time I'd opt for something lighter though. After the 2 courses and the wine, a heavy chocolate dessert just FINISHED ME! That was on me though for overindulging, not on Signature.
I decided to visit Signature after hearing a lot about it from friends, and I must say I was not disappointed. Although it is situated in a shopping centre, the moment you step in through the doors the ambience is spectacular.
The waiters are fabulous; no other words to describe them. Our waiter was always at hand and very attentive. He made excellent wine recommendations which were a hit.
For mains I had the Signature trio; while really tasty, both the duck leg and quail was dry and overcooked and was tough to cut through even with a steak knife; the only downside to my experience. Dessert was fantastic, and as we were celebrating my sister's birthday, they added a candle to her dessert which was a nice touch.
The service and quality was impeccable, so despite the tough duck and quail, I will definitely be back to try the other dishes.

We celebrated a special occasion here last night, so the expectations were quite high. Even with the high expectations, I was blown away with the whole evening.
From arriving to leaving, every single detail was exceptional. We were greeted by very friendly staff and taken to our table. The waiter (Mxolosi - Sorry for the spelling, but i know his name means "Peacemaker") immediately offered us water and menus. While we were reading through the options available, another waiter brought bread and butter - three different types: mustard, beetroot and plain.
We had champagne to start off the evening and opted for the stuffed calamari and fried calamari salad as starters. Both were phenomenal! Especially the stuffed calamari - it is served with a lovely apricot sauce.
For mains we went with two signature dishes: the biltong venison and the beef tournedo. Both were absolutely stunning! The presentation was wonderful and the taste magnificent. I have never had venison cooked to such perfection.
For dessert we went with the waiter's recommendation of the rose water, toasted almond and ginger panna cotta - the perfect way to end our night, WOW!!!
Some more highlights of the evening: the waiter was extremely attentive and even decanted our wine we brought with. He knows the menu very well and could explain all the dishes!
There was some smooth jazz being performed from the little stage, this sets the mood and makes for a lovely atmosphere.
The views are stunning and I would recommend asking for a window table, if available.

Thank you Signature for such an amazing experience. My boyfriend and I came here for a special dinner, and special it was! The service was exceptional, waiters very attentive!
Only downfall was that the cellar was not stocked with a lot of the European wines that we selected. On saying this, our waiter made a wine suggestion - and I must say that we were pleasantly surprised.
The food was superb, we both had salmon dishes for starters. Followed by the pork belly and paradise fillet. We ended with a cheese board and espresso with 1920 in the cigar lounge.
We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back!

One thing I'd recommend is always sticking to the steaks or seafood when ordering. I had a seafood risotto and didn't enjoy as much as I thought I would. My partner also had some experimental dish, but in the end the classics always work best!
Wow! Today was as close to a perfect restaurant experience as you can get! My husband and I went for dinner to close off our year, and we absolutely loved it. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious (generous portion sizes, beautifully presented) and the service excellent. And as a cherry on top we were presented with 2 signature pens, such a lovely gesture! One of the most exclusive fine dining experiences in Johannesburg...Sandton to be exact ! Situated in the Morningside shopping center, Signature provides a sophisticated fine dining experience , with beautiful decor and excellent service . For starters I opted to try the fish cakes, which was very enjoyable and tasty ! However I felt it crumbled too quickly for my liking ! Onto the lovely butterfly queen prawns as mains. Once again beautifully prepared served with a trio of sauces, of peri-peri , lemon butter & garlic butter, I still felt it lacked a little something ! The best of our three course meal was undoubtedly the Ferrero Rocher Tiramisu! As with other dishes , a true piece of culinary art ! Served with fresh fruit of kiwi and strawberries coupled with some dark chocolate ice cream set on top of crumbled Ferrero Rocher chocolate . Divine ! I did feel the Tiramisu could have done with a bit more liqueur ! Although I was slightly disappointed in each of the 3 courses , on the whole it was a great fine dining experience ! If you got cash to splash Signature is definitely worth a visit.
Signature Restaurant is the old faithful in my family for celebrations, so when thinking of a last minute dinner venue to celebrate my birthday, Signature won.
As soon as you walk through the door, you are treated to excellent service by the hostesses, waiters and managers. The lights are dimmed in the restaurant and there is a beautiful view of johannesburg out the window.
The food doesn't disappoint either and even though we have been here numerous times before, the food is yet to disappoint. The live singer also creates a lovely atmosphere.
The price is a bit on the steeper side so it's definitely a special occasion venue, but wow, what an occasion it will be.

I had the most amazing food crush on Chef Randy tonight. I had a celebratory dinner tonight and I chose to do it in style at Signature. This is a place that doesn't disappoint if you have a fine palette with and equally fine bank account to service that. You know how some fine dining places charge you a price that makes you feel was ok? Well, even though the bill tonight was expensive I didn't walk out disgruntled. In fact, I felt the art work deserved the price tag and I will happily be back again. My mains was the Monk Fish seafood risotto. My risotto was cooked in black squid ink and my seafood pieces were succulent and juicy. The desserts we ordered were little artworks and too pretty to eat.
Unfortunately what stands out here is the fact that we weren't allowed tap water. For me, charging a handsome fee at a restaurant is fine as long as the restaurant is adding value to my experience. Forcing me to drink bottled water is doing exactly the opposite. But I guess the issue is debatable, and will bother some more than others.
Aside from this, the food was of a really high standard. However, the mark of a good restaurant is the ability to serve every dish at a consistently high standard. Some of the dishes served were exemplary, from presentation to taste. But other dishes were far less impressive and extremely overpriced. A great restaurant should not offer a dish it cannot serve well.
The view was a pleasant surprise and so was the live music. I would recommend the biltong dusted venison for mains and the berry semi-freddo for dessert.
There is also a minimum charge per person excluding drinks. Again, this is very pretentious and forceful, detracting from the experience.
I struggle to fault. This is how your dining experience should be. From the hostess to the service staff, they all make you feel appreciated. The service is superb and the winelist and menu leaves you salivating. The quality of food is spectacular. Attentiveness is def key to their success.
Went for a company dinner and it was really classy! The place, ambience, service and food were just too good! The wine selection is a wine lover’s dream and the food selection is ever better. I tried a prawn dish which was extremely tasty but you only seem to get 5 prawns (considering the price you pay…) I ended it off with the crème brule which was tasty but not the best. Other than this, it was a good evening. Just remember to bring along a pretty penny to pay....

After the hot rolls with the assorted butters, We had the tomato soup and fish cake starters - which were both equally amazing, and these were then succeeded wi the the paradise fillet and the curry lamb shank - I have to say that I was not expecting to be that full and unable to finish our meals! We had the pleasure of being waited on by the most friendly waitress I saw there who was an absolute gem and went out of her way to make us feel content and happy. We even had a special dedication for our anniversary along with dessert and candles! Will definitely be returning.

Wow! Signature is amazing and by far the best restaurant I have been to. Everything from the food to the service to the setting is perfection.
It was date night and we decided to try Signature and what a great decision that was.
They start you off with fresh rolls with three types of butter. (Also served between starters and mains)
For starters, we tried their sushi which was the salmon sashimi and salmon roses. The sushi was delicious, fresh and the salmon roses had a generous portion of salmon. We also tried their chicken soup that was full of flavour. After starters, expectations were high for mains.
For mains, my boyfriend had the paradise fillet and I had the quail. We both thoroughly enjoyed our mains and it each meal was presented beautifully and the portions were generous and divine.
Service was absolutely the best I've experienced. Our waiter Rodger was great, he was friendly, helpful and had perfect timing.
Overall it was a wonderful experience and although it is very pricy, the high quality of food and service justifies the price. I also wanted to mention, although the restaurant is situated in a mall, once you are inside the restaurant, the ambience and the luxury setting makes you forget that you are in a mall.
Divine food...wonderful music...service is awesome!

Great fine dinning experience and live music just takes it one step ahead of the rest. Food, service, staff was above par. Complete luxury!!! If you want to impress your date\spouse, client or in-laws then this is place to have lunch meeting or dinner date at.
Words can never adequately describe this experience. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the ambience is to die for and the live music was just the perfect cherry on top. And the food.... out of this world. I'd recommend this place for an intimate dinner with your special person. Very intimate environment and worth every penny.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely atmosphere combined with live music makes for a wonderful night out. Perfect place for some romance. Service is top notch and food it great too.
Signature was not a planned trip for a friend and I, but seeing as though It was spontaneous I was pleasantly surprised with the tasty Sushi Platters that lived up to it's hype. I may have to do a second review when I make my next visit as I would love to try other things on the menu but in the interim I am really pleased with this opulent restaurant

What a fabulous restaurant! The food was outstanding and kudos to the chef for not trying to over complicate things but to focus on letting the incredible ingredients speak for themselves. This is now by far my favorite restaurant in Johannesburg.
Signature never disappoints; you know exactly what to expect when visiting; attentive staff, amazing food, great ambience. The perfect spot to celebrate special occasions (birthdays in our case) have lunch (casual or business) or drink cocktails. A must-visit for sure.

Thank you for the pleasant service, the food was delicious the ambiance is great we ordered a sushi platter which was amazing to say the list the wine as well went down well I would highly recommend this restaurant for fine dining, the live band also does a beautiful job in entertaining the guests, it also has good sitting, the waiters and waitresses are always well dressed and well made u, it’s great to see the effort they put in making themselves presentable.
Though the menu is a bit pricey but well worth it, it makes for a perfect place to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays or any special occasions it’s a real hidden gem if any.
Beautiful place, the food was good justvportion size is very small. The cheese cake was amazing. Stuff is friendly as well.

I had scolab and prawn with seafood risotto - I give them 10/10 for the seafood and the risotto was creamy and delicious.

Fine dining restaurant in Morningside Johannesburg. Higher than general price range as two starters and 4 mains as well 3 large bottles of water, and four custom drinks came to approximately R2800. The food was of high quality and portion size smaller than general SA average- for portion size, think French dining. On the whole, it was a positive experience. Live music was a part of the experience.
On the downside, we were celebrating a major milestone, and the reservation was made well in advance with the ask for a premium table. We ended up at a table close to the walkway and in sight of the bathrooms! Disappointing doesn't begin to cover it!! Especially when some of the better tables that clearly could seat 4 or more patrons were occupied by 2 people!
We had an enjoyable time. The food was mostly great, besides one or two things (duck starter was over and part of the dessert had canned peaches). Service was great (Monica was helpful and timeous, and multiple people were available to help). The place looks elegant and inviting - there's a no hat rule in the dining section, though that I wish would be made known on the website.
It's a little pricey though, and although the food was good, I'm not sure it's worth the price.
Overall, I would recommend a visit.. Just leave your hat at home :)
Amazing service at this venue, well presented dishes. Enjoyed the seafood platter. Desserts were a bit dissapointing though, even though presented well and they looked really good, tasted like commercial grade. The sushi was ok. Overall a good experience though. The bar was stunning, really busy and well run, enjoyed some cocktails and whiskey.
By far, the best food I have had in South Africa…🔥🔥🔥 Awesome cocktails, good food selection and the taste is beyond description. You can tell there are master chefs at work. And the staff are well trained and on-point. You have not tasted the best in SA until you eat here. Just brilliant!
We celebrated our anniversary yesterday. Signature Restaurant offers a Proper Fine Dining Experience. Service was impeccable. Food was amazing. Prices are a bit steep but generally a great place to visit. Great wine selection, a solo live one man band 🎺 kept us entertained..

Service was a little slow, waiting almost 45 minutes for drinks isn’t acceptable, but of course the food made up for this. Still a firm favorite of mine. Very relaxed atmosphere.

What a sublime experience. Elegant decor, extremely attentive staff without being intrusive, one of the best (most extensive) wine lists I’ve encountered in SA, and exquisite food—both on the palate and the eye. Starters are roughly in the R150-200 range, mains roughly R300-400, desserts roughly R150-200. Live music is exactly the right style and volume to complement the setting. An excellent choice for a special occasion!
For starter I had an amazing prawn, scallop and rissotto, followed by a mouth watering duck breast ragout ( I'd advise heavy eaters to get an extra mash / creamed spinach) then berry mascopone cheese cake (best option if you are into sweet and sour taste).
Their curry lamb is also the best I've ever tasted.
Service was excellent. Amazing waitress. Attention to detail. Food was exquisite. Definitely the place to go to celebrate a special occasion.
