Excellent service. Beautiful setting. Pet- friendly and vegan- friendly. Food is amazing. Chef organized special food for birthday celebrations. Staff were very accommodating. Not affected by load- shedding… so air- conditioning etc is finally functional. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I spent the long weekend at Canelands for our 25th Anniversary.We have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world over the years. Canelands far exceeded our expectations and Delli and her team really looked after us like royalty. From the beautiful views, the amazing rooms, the incredible food and service it was just absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for couples that really want a romantic, elegant and tranquil getaway. We couldn't find one thing that was not on point. If I could give 6 stars I would. Thanks to Management and staff for an incredible weekend that we will cherish forever! Rob and Sandy Turner

We were lucky to have our wedding at Canelands 28 April. We also stayed over for 2 nights as we booked out the entire hotel. From beginning to end it was an incredible experience and I would give Thobani, Wendy and the entire team way more than 5 stars if I could . The food, service and everything else was excellent !!!

Simply beautiful. It is (in my opinion) the best situated restaurant in the north coast, and I’ve lived here my whole life. The food is good but very expensive. The view is exceptional whilst still feeling extremely private. There is a a large pool overlooking the ocean that is absolutely amazing to swim in. Staff are friendly.

My husand booked us a a weekend away for our 5 yr anniversary and omw did Canelands staff make it memorable for us.. the food is out of this world. The chefs and staff are such a delight... the room over looking the ocean omw i fell in love and the scenery omw i loved it ... a bigggg thank you to Thomas for making our anniversary a memory and the chef for making those delicious fish cakes... im definitely going back again..🥰😍🤩💖💗❤️‍🔥💝💙🩵

Rooms by the sea/beach, dining beside the sea, you can hear the waves lapping onto the shore. Friendly courteous staff who go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Excellent Spa too. Located near a couple of small restaurants and supermarket which is convenient

Didnt stay over but can definitely say that will change soon, bezt coffee and great friendly service. Amazibg view and very clean and tidy rooms. Will see you on my next holliday

We didn't get a great service apparently it was"busy"

Awesome location, the ocean views are to die for. You can also walk down to the beach from the restaurant. There were some black folk whoop whoop, you know that matters! The food was okay though, the prawns didn't have their dirt taken out and going for R260, my lamb chops didn't have the fat crisped. But had a good glass of wine, some relax time in a place where I felt like I belonged.

The serenity the beauty the magnificent views are just the tip of the iceberg of this Treasured jewel! The rooms are above 5 star quality n win over most well know 5 star establishments! The Manager Niveshan is excellent at running and aiding this boutique Hotel, they offer the venue for weddings too n aim to please giving their guests desires! As for their menu, divine as they come!

Ten out of ten! My wife and I popped in for a beer and a cheese board and the team were dealing with an exceptionally drunk patron from JHB. He was swearing and using profanity, but the Canelands team dealt with him outstandingly. I highly recommend this place. The young waiter Sihle is outstanding and deserves every ounce of praise. Fantastic job from the whole team. We will be back regularly 👍🏼

Great service with a how can I help and nothing is too much attitude. Deluxe rooms have incredible views of the sea. The food is also amazing..especially the Durban Lamb curry. I can highly recommend staying here. Direct access to a friendly and clean beach. Surfing looks great too
