This place is home-y and bright. The staff know how to make a good cuppachino and the service and quality of the food is great! Food is beyond worth what you are paying for.

Was so good to visit again after 2 years and be welcomed like an old friend! The cheesecake is still the best in the West.

Combine coffee and art! Palet is an extension of an art gallery so you can combine art and a meal. The coffee is great! The menu offers something for most tastes but limited on healty options, so be prepared to enjoy what's on offer or miss out A delightful place

Initially saw the coffee shop driving past and thought it was a tea room. Longing for afternoon tea and a scone with clotted cream it looked like the perfect place. When we eventually popped in to check out the menu we did not find any of the above however there was an art gallery which we enjoyed viewing the artwork and a beautiful terrace which reminded me of a fairy garden; 2 months later finally went with a friend from Mexico and my daughter and the joint is homely, friendly staff. Suzette the manager is very kind and accommodating. She had a full on conversation with us which was heartwarming. Highly recommend.

Wonderful, cosy experience on a cold rainy day. Awesome service for a large group, after a Christening. All food and coffee was good. Staff is friendly. The art that is exhibited and for sale adds a very special touch. Well done.

Cute little coffee shop, the atmosphere feels like you're seated in your own home

One of my favourite feel-good restaurants. Inside and outside dining. Art gallery in the same building. Waitress is friendly and attentive. One can stay and chat after your meal, if it's not busy. I feel like I'm in the country, although Palet is situated on a main, very busy road.

They gave rooms which you can host business meetings in as well as the coffee shop is a converted house ...good service as well

Nice quiet place to meet and have great coffee and cakes during week service is a bit slow but overall ambiance is great also have great art for sale.<br/>Cost of coffee and generous piece of cake at reasonable rates.

Hidden gem of a coffee shop. Very intimate and homely setting. Their service is great and their cake is the best! Only gripe is because it used to be a house it only has one toilet for males and females.

Really nice quaint venue. Great food and coffee. I'm sure in summer it must be nice out in the garden. Only downside, wish they had a heater as it was a bit chilly and I didn't warm up.

I have been twice recently to Palet and I was very happy with the service and the food.  A lovely place to chat with the girls on a Saturday morning and all round pretty and pleasant!

Loved the look and feel of this place, its an art gallery with a cafe, beautiful garden and great atomsphere. Great place to relax and enjoy a good meal and a coffee. My gf and I will definetly be back.

Very relaxing vibe. Nice decor. The hostess try's toe make u feel at home she's very polite and inviting. Had a great njam njam tramazini(bacon, biltong, chicken, pepperdews, feta, cheese and sweet chilli sauce) a must try, and the chocolate cake is to die for.
