Review Hooters Ruimsig - Roodepoort

Wings not the same as it was when it just came out. Slightly dry and burnt taste, but service was good and fast. Overcrowded sometimes.

I went on a Thursday night to meet with a friend. I've never been there before, but I will definitely be returning. Their food was great, our waitress the model of professional and efficient and friendly. The vibe was good. It was early when I first got there and I saw families come for supper and friends meet for a proper throw down. All were welcome there.

i eat at this specific hooters regularly. Almost always get the wings and they are always perfect, but other food like the chips are just as great. Waiters are always helpful and friendly. Hannah regularly seats us, her service is immaculate and she is definitely one of the best waiters there. I have never had anything resembling a negative experience and I will continue to visit as long as they stay open.

Bought a variety, 4 different flavors of wings. Sliders .shrimps ,onion rings etc we where a large group. And the waitress was a star. So yes we will definitely go again. The food was great. The service was great and the atmosphere was good . Thank you.

Nice place to be with various specials running every day,my Gym friends and i go there often to get something to eat along with a drink after our workouts,the waitresses are well mannered and deal well with other customers no matter how ill mannered they are as there is a bouncer there to take care of all the other customers safety

We recently did an office social at Hooters. An all you can eat wings challenge on Wednesday which is their wings special day. We were a table of 15. Our waitress Olwethu was fantastic. She was incredible at keeping separate bills for each person. The wings were fantastic.

From the entrance the gentleman that was there was really welcoming and friendly. The waitresses are amazing attentive and friendly too. On Wednesday you best book a seat coz it gets jam pack those wings are to die for

This was my favourite watering hole when I lived in the area! So many great memories made with old and new friends alike. It's bittersweet to think that the last time I was there was during the World Cup in 2018. I did win some dope swag though courtesy of Budweiser. 😉🔥✨ If ever you're in Ruimsig and you're looking for a great vibe, food and company wise, Hooters is the place to be. 🙌💪

Great food for bar, great staff and service

Went in for a quick meal today. I was pleasantly surprised by Hannah. I received excellent service and recommendations on the menu as well she notified me about the specials. Good was great

Absolutely fantastic venue. Friendly staff and management... As the chicken wings are to the for. Spent almost the wok whole day there with the kids and the staff were so friendly and attentive towards them. They enjoyed our kids almost as much as we did the wings. A must visit family restaurant.

The wings are amazing. the lemon pepper rub flavour is my favourite. Very nice. Their big daddy's beer option is nice to be enjoyed. Their mojito is also tasty. Good place to have some bites and drinks with friends while having a good time.

Hooters is very expensive. The service was average insofar as we had to look for our waitress every time, but when when was there she was good.<br/>But in saying that there is a good vibe and we had a lot of fun.

This is what they called a ‘frozen margarita’ waited forever for this watery drink. Will not be coming back. First time here and experience was bad.

This is not the type of place to go if you want to have a quiet chat. Its very busy and very loud. The onion rings, deboned chicken wings, curly fries and blue cheese sauce is awesome!!

Food: The food here is very tasty. I love the variety. U can choose finger food like chicken strips or wings or you can have a main meal. The fish and chips is also very nice. I love the alcoholic beverages menu. There is alot to choose from and the prices arnt bad at all. The shooters are also very nice.<br/>Ambience: When people think "Hooters" they think naked women. But its really not that. Its very chilled. It has a nice warm setting as well as a bar and a curio shop inside with all hooters t-shirts and caps there for purchase. <br/>Service: This was surprisingly quick and the staff is very friendly.

Unfriedly staff, no service, always wait extremely long for the food, take away orders are 3/4 times messed up! To top it off, they bill you R650 for a R350 order.<br/><br/>Amazed that the place hasn’t closed it doors yet!<br/><br/>

Hubby and I popped in for a drink or two and we found that we had to ply the waitress away from a group of men. Food was not worth the cost. I found that the food was mediocre at best and that the portions were tiny. I was disappointed.

Lovely atmosphere for drinks and snack. Just needed to snack after a long drive. The lady who was helping us was friendly. The variety is nice and Im definitely coming back for more. We had buffalo platter and drinks, the curly fries are delicious 😋 <br/>Coming again to try more on your menu.<br/>P.S the pics are not so good

Disgusting!!!! Service is appalling. Had to BEG to be served our waitress Bridget was so rude. I didn't tip her as at times after calling her twice or 2 she still took 20 minutes to get to the table and about the same amount of time to bring drinks! She rolled her eyes at my group of friends sighed at us and would turn her back on us as while we talking to her.<br/><br/>After not leaving the young lady a tip she got another to come to our table and say. "Guys MY girls don't work for free." (Your girls? What type of establishment is this) so after I pleaded my case of the disgusting abuse we had received this you lady turn her back on us as well and literally SHOUTED "learn how to tip Mother F#€kers" <br/><br/>I am so insulated and appalled by this.<br/><br/>We requested to see the manager from about 6 different people and got he is busy and will be for next half an hour!!!! Really????<br/><br/>So after waiting for the manager we had our discussion with him and were told that he will tell the GM in the morning. (No GM on a night that they running a special?) And after talking to the manager the bouncer told us to leave as they closing now.<br/><br/>As a guest I feel alienated, abused and that I was an absolute pest to their business.<br/><br/>I was sworn at like a DOG called a Mother F#€cker for being abused. This is the height of a sighed sickening service ethic.<br/><br/>I only put that 1 rating because you can't post 0 but you do not deserve it.<br/><br/>A appeal to management to influence and better work ethic as the standard of yours now is sick.

We shared the wings, shrimp and the cheesy chilli fries, shrimp portion was a bit small for the price but very tasty. Will definitely be back!

The service was soooo slow, we had to call a waiter upon arriving, they said they will send someone after we ordered drinks, then the waiter just put the drinks on our table no greeting or telling us who she is, then she never brings the menu had to ask someone else to tell her we need menus, no one bothered to ask how we are, but they kept on going to other tables, and their portions are too small for their prices.

Stopped by after a great day at the park for a wing snack and drinks.<br/><br/>Service was friendly and the drinks filled with ice (American style). Atmosphere is chilled with music that can be heard all over. The smoking area was packed.<br/><br/>The wings are good certainly rank up there for the best in town.

Came here for a Sunday lunch. we took a chance bringing my child here but I had no idea that they were child-friendly, especially on Sundays cause they eat free. The service was quick and our waitress was friendly. Of course, the food was amazing, especially their onion rings. While nothing stuck out coming here, I still have nothing horrible to say about coming here.

Had an awesome party ,must give credit to Eugene the manager, sorted things out for us made sure we were happy and had an excellent time . Waiters were friendly ,service was great, no complaints on my side. Will definitely be back again!

I make a plan to visit Hooters at least twice a month, and it gets better every time. The food is breathtaking and an original selection of cocktails was a welcome surprise. The hostesses are very friendly and accommodating. Best place to take friends and family.

Went here on a Sunday for lunch, very quiet which surprised me. The service is slow, we walked in and waited a bit before being offered a table. The food and drinks were also quite slow as well. Three of us shared the Buffalo Platter and Cheese Nachos. The food was good, but I found the portions to be a bit small for the price. Good variety on drinks

Aug 30: After walking around the Walter Sisulu, everyone was very hungry. At the Ruimsig Centre, decided to eat at Hooters. Apart from beer, the curly fries, onion rings and nachos are standard orders. Curly fries are as usual, crisp. The onion rings were also good. The Quesadilas were also nice - not very stuffed. Service was good but could have been a bit quicker considering the place was not full.

Had the pleasure of watching the game over the weekend here. The manager received us well, showing us to our table. Great atmosphere. Amazing food. Sadly they were under staffed on this important Saturday night, waiters tried hard to be attentive but sadly, the staff could not cater for the capacity. Well trained waiters non the less and always have a great time there.

Surprisingly good wings and burgers! Waiters are friendly and attentive, comfortable seating and entertainment too! Can get a bit noisy so choose seats carefully.

What happened to the ever welcoming "Welcome to Hooters!" screamed by the well endowed waitresses.<br/>Well those days are gone as we walked into a empty Hooters.<br/>For a moment I thought I wandered by mistake into the Spur with all the youngsters and old folk around.<br/>Years ago no misinformed spouse would let her hubby into "that strip joint".<br/>The food is oily and the prawns and chicken are doughy and oily.<br/>The food is below average and the waitresses too.@<br/>

I struggle to understand the hype about hooters, the food is good but not great and I find quite expensive realising their food is more oily than tasty but nonetheless always a good hangout with friends for some drinks.

Dear boys, if you're hoping to see large boobies, this is not going to happen here. Waitresses are cute though and their food ain't bad neither. Especially love the buffalo wings and... I think they're called curly fries? Oooooh AND, if you if you're a GIRL and it's Friday, the cocktails are R16! SCORE!!!!
