We got take out of their triple box Pizza with two medium chicken and bacon, thick based Pizza's, chips for two, two cheesey garlic rolls and a small chocolate Pizza. Having the world's sweetest tooth I think the chocolate Pizza is the best followed by the cheesey garlic rolls. The Pizza is really, really good too. Chips are chips are chips, nothing mind blowing there. All this for R159. Yummy, convenient and well priced. The service was friendly and fast. I noticed how the man behind the till knew his regular customers by name - impressive. We'll go back

Super tasty pizza!! As everyone knows a lot on the oily side, but delicious none the less. Cant wait for the branch to get bigger! Don't really like the South African twist on the American brand. We know what a our pizza tastes like, that's why we came to an American outlet. Awesome corn flour pizza bases!
As good as I hoped it would be. Ordered three large pizzas- each was flawless. They have the perfect pepperoni. Will definitely be going back. Courteous staff. I came from the home of great pizza- Chicago, Illinois. Normally, in the USA I wouldnt get pizza from Pizza Hut- too commercial. But for Pizza in SA, this is as good as it has gotten! The crust/base is the best for sure- no more cardboard crusts for me here.
There seem to be so many take-away pizza places around that they really need to be exceptional in order to stand out. That is probably the only reason for pizza hut not getting more stars from me: it wasn't all that different from any other pizza place. Their service was polite, timely and professional. The pizza was tasty and the option to build your own operated without any hitches. I was interested to find that the thin base actually sits somewhere between traditional thin and thick bases, with a definite crispness that I wasn't expecting. All in all a worthwhile place for a take-away meal, eating there might be a little cramped, but you do get compensation in the former of free WiFi.

I am so chaffed Pizza Hut is back! Firstly, they taste, look and smell just the same as I remember, the service is friendly and professional, staff are well trained compared to other fast food outlets in SA, my ONLY gripe is when ordering delivery it takes forever! The pizza is always hot but I have waited up to an hour (4km away) for my delivery, that said, it was amazing and delivery time can always improve as long as the product remains the same, well done to the team tasked with training the staff etc, I'm a happy Pizza Hut customer ;-)
Good American styled pizza. This is certain a guilt meal if you do have it. I always order the pan pizza and enjoy the crispy crust. Definitely worth a try if you are not concerned with a diet
Was given the option of thin (traditional) or thick crust pizza. We chose the thin crust.
When we got our pizzas back home the crust was a lot thicker than what we are used to in SA and was more like a bread in texture - not very crispy. I shudder to think what the tick crust would be like.
Overall taste was very good - nice herby fresh tasting tomato sauce and well spiced meat topping (spicy boerewors).
Very filling due to the thicker than normal crust so only ate 6 of the 8 pieces. Next time I'll just ask them to cut the pizza into 6 pieces so I can finish it all.
But if what you like about a pizza is a thin, crisp crust then this won't be for you. I also prefer the taste of pizza cooked in a wood burning oven (which these are not) but that is a just a personal preference..
Still a good tasty filling pizza - pity about the crust.
The chocolate dunkers though were amazingly good - definitely add these on to any order you place.
Finished my delicious pizza at Pizza Hut in as many years, exactly as I remember it delicious! My kids enjoed it as much as I did. I'll be back
I am an Indian and Indians love 'pizza hut' and 'Dominos'.
Surprisingly not a single Dominos available in south africa.
So, was very happy to see pizza hut in johanneaburg. They are consistent in quality. Must visit place for all Pizza Hut lovers...
