Review Mugg & Bean - Roodepoort

I’ve been coming to this Mugg n Bean for years now. Best service, very friendly staff and we miss one of the managers here, Reuben. Lorraine and even Charles, I appreciate all these guys who really ensure that I get the best service when I pop in. It has become a home now. Never a dull moment. The food is always great which is a cherry on top.

Went back to Mugg & Bean today after a long while, and it is still a wonderful place to visit. They are renovating the upstairs area in the Mall, so I will be going back there soon, to see what it looks like. Our waitress was very friendly, attentive and had a huge smile on her face, that made the experience all the better. Well done to the management and staff!! They get my vote !!

I always enjoy the service and the happy faces of the managers and waiters/waitresses and this restaurant. Some of them I always wish they were part of my business team. Today I was welcomed by the manager Lorraine and served by Charity. Good experience as always.

I was a bit sceptical because it was quite full.. but recieved great service & food didnt take long to as I would have thought. Really enjoyed our meal & was a 1st Visit For BF so You Guys Nailed It. ✨👌👌👌

It has become one of my favourite places. Loadshedding or wifi issues-Mug & Bean is the best space to be in for the day and saved my deadlines and my job. The Food and the bottomless coffee kept going all day....I was able to work with ease.....thank you so much❤️🤗🙏😊💓

I come here quite often since I've got alot of work happening around this area. The friendliest staff and good food as usual for Mugg n Bean. There's alot of other people who also stop by here and work a bit so the environment is really productive which I enjoy alot!

Food not really outstanding. Service was good. A good breakfast or lunch on the go place. But it's in the middle of a mall so expect allot of hustle and bustle all around you.

It's a great space with an amazing atmosphere. I love that it's not part of the food court so its not noisy. The food is amazing and I'm definitely coming back for the green smoothie (add ginger to it and I'm an official M&B groupie).

Chilled out at Mug and Bean at the Cresta Shopping Mall when there was laod shedding in my neighbourhood. Was chilling with friends of mine watching people. I ordered a delicious big slice of Lemon meringue pie and cup of hot chocolate. We sat at Mug and Bean until the power went back on in my neighbourhood. Not a bad place way to spend a Friday evening.

M&B Clearwater Mall is a great place for daytime Coffee, Breakfast and light lunches. The setup is neat and accommodates all those who need to meet for business or pleasure and offers good WiFi reception

Visited Mugg & Bean with a friend this afternoon. As we were waiting at the entrance to be seated( which seemed to be taking a bit longer than we expected); suddenly a waiter came rushing, beaming from ear to ear, and greeted a white couple behind us who had just walked in and ushered them in with such enthusiasm- totally ignoring us as if we were completely invisible! Needless to say, the white man looked so pleased and amused while we were standing there in shock and disbelief. Another waiter, having witnessed what had just happened ,rushed over to us apologising profusely and offered us a table. A few seconds later, the first waiter, Brilliant (name printed on name badge) returned after being prompted by his colleague, to deliver his pathetic apology which he started off by an awkward and inappropriate laughter. Obviously finding the situation not funny, we decided to leave and go find a place where everyone is treated with equal respect. It's such a shame that there's still black people out there, like Brilliant, who still think fellow black people deserve inferior service. Slave mentality if you ask me!

Just enjoyed the most delicious cake at Mugg & Bean, CRADLESTONE, today. It was the Honey, lemon and Rooibos Tea cake with lemon yoghurt layers instead of icing. What a taste! Not as sweet as other cakes and deliciously moist. While a storm was raging outside, we had a lovely Affogato as well. Really one of the very best cakes I have tasted in years. That says a lot because I am not really a fan of cakes, because it is usually dry and too sweet. 5* rating for this cake. I will go back for more ... can't even get it out of my mind right now!!

First time coming to the Mugg and Bean Clearwater only to be very dissapointed by my regular breakfast. Asked for well done eggs and crispy bacon only to get medium eggs and not so crispy bacon. Ordered extra toast on the side which not only came a while after our food but was also soggy and broke as soon as you picked it up........that is certainly not the Mugg and Bean toast I am used too. Very very dissapointed. Rather stick to the Mugg and Bean at Northgate where I know I'm going to get what I asked for and good quality and service.

I was threatened by the senior manager at M&B Clearwater after I had complained about a stale scone. She called the security and said I should be evicted from the restaurant. Clearly, the standards have dropped at Mugg and Bean and that is very disappointing.
