Review Wild Eagle Spur Steak Ranch - Roodepoort

I recently had my daughter's birthday party at Wild Eagle Spur, which was wonderful, the food was great, and both kids and adults enjoyed themselves. I had a small issue with my loyalty points that was not loaded to my app, sent an email to their customer service on Sunday and received a response on Monday morning, then Isaac from Wild Eagle Spur called me and sorted out everything, he was friendly and polite and efficient. A really superb example of good customer service, I am truly blown away and impressed. I was even able to book a second party for my son, who turns 6 in October. There's absolutely nowhere else I would rather celebrate their birthday and entertain their friends. Looking forward to seeing you in October!

We had a great evening. Was full, so the waiter really had a lot on his plate! Great atmosphere for the whole family. Kids enjoyed the play area. Also enjoyed the food. Our waiter forgot to give my children their party packs at the end of our dinner! But it's not a big deal, we will get them next time. Overall, it was a nice 👌🏽

This Spur is really lovely and very nice. The food was good and came fast. The kids fun play area is really neat and beautiful. Bookings are recommended for large groups on weekends because the place is very busy.

Had my son's 3rd birthday here yesterday. What a pleasure! I can highly recommend the platters, and what you get included in the cost of the kids is well worth it. The service was great (Sonny, our waiter, was very friendly and professional) It was crazy busy, but that's to be expected on a September Saturday :), there are safety measures in place for the kids (tags attached to their clothes) which is much appreciated on days where it's very busy. This particular branch is amazing for parties and a good day out with the kids in general. Highly recommend.

A friend treated me to breakfast at your lovely airy restaurant. The service was excellent and our waitress Nonhlanhla was friendly and efficient. I will definitely come again thank you 😊

It's spur. What more can you say. This is always more about the kids since it's the best time for them to play. Wish they could improve on a couple of menu items, but still a great day out for the family...

I think it is the best place we have taken our grandsons to. It is perfect for small children, the staff are so helpful with the children. Food was great 😃

It’s humongous I tell you. They hold several parties in one day under one roof. Spur lack taste in food they give you large portions of food knowing they aren’t good at making food taste wonderful. It we enjoyed my son’s birthday lunch. There’s even a model private jet like airplane ✈️ parked next to the building. I suppose it’s for peeps who wanted to take wonderful scenic pictures. It has enough parking and it’s very safe

This has to be the best Spur in South Africa! The food portions and quality is always spot on! They recently did some revamping and put some shade up over the best play area kids could ask for. Every one is so friendly! From the car guards to the staff. 5* over all! They even have an actual plane the kids can play in. Super cool!

You have an awesome team who have taken great care of us for the last couple of years. They have become our family. Thank you for the awesome service

Excellent for kiddies. My salad leaves looked a bit sad and I didn't enjoy the cheese sauce.. Have to mention that we did come 45 mins before closing time so maybe that's the reason. Everyone else at our table enjoyed their food though. The kids play area is amazing and fun filled. Kids loved it. Atmosphere cosy and friendly.

Great place for the kids service was a bit slow and orders were not right. First time this has happened here. Otherwise always pleasant

I do like the location of this Spur. The staff are always friendly and the food was really delicious. I do, however, feel that the atmosphere/ambience needs a bit of a change up. It does feel like you're under a spotlight. They need to change the lighting by, if possible, dimming the lights a bit and light the candles/lanters on the tables. The good sad perfect. (Compliments to the chef). They also have an indoor and outdoor play are for the kids. The food is also reasonably priced. Wort a visit, for sure🥳

Poor poor service. Got to a point to even ask the 4th waiter who assisted us if they were short stuffed which he replied NO. Our order came in drips and draps, one point drinks came without straws even the waiter who served us those drinks forgot about bringing straws then we were on our 5th waiter looking after us, one my friends burgers it turned out when he opened it the patty had be bitten and a nice teeth like shape was on the patty. Ps:in all the swaps done by the waiters not one did we bitch about anything but they just failed and failed and failed. So much for my 1st time visit. Anyway will still come through my daughter enjoyed the swings.

Decided to visit the Wild Eagles spur tonight for the R100 rib promo ..it was really lekker, tasty ribs, and superb malva. Best kept secret is out... Good value for money and the service is always good!!!

Food arrived within 5 minutes from ordering, sjoe quick service but food was ice cold which tells me it's pre-cooked and kept somewhere until someone orders it. Always thought you cant mess up breakfast.... Clearly one can mess up breakfast, especially this Spur!

Pathetic service. Sorry absolutely no service whatsoever. Say outside an hour in the heat of the evening. A section inside was closed off which we could have at least sat in. No one even offered us tap water to drink. That is the absolute last time I go to that branch. It is absolute rubbish. The only customers they were worried about were the ones inside. Well done, you certainly know how to chase customers away. Do not apologise, not interested at all in more excuses. In future tell the customers to go to a better restaurant or Steers 3 kms away. At least you will get service there..
