Visited nando's today for their current "flava sava" special. The service and delivery of food was very quick considering the popularity of the meal. The food itself was impressive and not compromised by the high demand. Staff were patient despite having their hands full. An all round good experience
This is a great place to grab lunch. There's usually a queue but the staff are efficient so the line moves quicker than expected. I usually grab a wrap or a burger and chips from here which are filling and tasty. Like the vibrant decor and the service is always pleasant.

I like how the new Nando’s outlets have been decorated. Over the years Nando’s has lifted its premium feel to create a space that’s less fast food and more linger longer. Each one is distinctly Nando’s in feeling but has a twist to create something that’s special to each outlet. The arty look and the lights are usually very interesting, typically something you would see out a design magazine. That said coming to Nando’s is about eating so as great as it is to have a pretty space the food has to deliver.
We had the Grande meal and 1/2 chicken + side. Let me just say that the chicken normally at Nando’s is super tender and juicy and although both chicken meals were a bit dry the flavors were still very good. It does bum me out a bit that we are at the stage where the tomato slice is bigger than than chicken breast on the burger. Nando’s price tag puts it in the category of treat food once in a while.
In my recent stop I had the chance to taste their new flavour of basting - Mozam Paprika flavor- and I think it is great addition to the spectrum of flavours especially if you are not a huge fan of chilli. The staff are attentive and friendly but the price on some items means you better off coming for something nice on a not so empty stomach.
This Nando's branch always has a long queue...whatever time of the day. At times it can be quite discouraging because thoughts of slow service come into play. But I was proven wrong today. The service was quite professional and received our food quicker than expected.
Tried the Hotpot with pap and the starter chicken livers...what a satisfying meal.
Regardless of how long the queue...I will not hesitate to wait cause I now know that I won't be disappointed.
Standard Nandos quality. Relatively fast service especially if you place your order telephonically ahead of time. I find the chicken bigger here than at other branches. Always a buzzy atmosphere.
Spent a short amount of time working on a project in Rondebosch and took a walk to this Nandos a couple of times for a quick lunch. Really good, well-cooked chicken and not a long time to wait for food either.
fine dining, peak culinary experience with unbelievable service. the consistency at this volume is truly something to marvel at. certainly the best Portuguese style restaurant I've ever been to. this branch in particular is easily the best I've ever been to and I have the pleasure of living a short walk away.
I could honestly eat this every day, and my girlfriend and I try to eat here every chance we get. the turnaround time is also great at consistently between 6 and 10 minutes.
p.s. the sticky toffee pudding is surprisingly good.

The Rondebosch Nandos since then has become home, we eat here often in the week or weekend as its quick, super delicious and sometimes healthy when veg is substituted for chips😛.
I usually go for the spicy chicken strips with rice, but am also a fan of their wraps and the usual quarter chicken etc. This branch has their off days but most of the time the service and food is always great. I also love the whole new layout of nandos, it makes sitting in much more nicer and "restauranty"
I love Nando's, its my favourite week day take away. I have it twice week almost every week. I also have a lot of requests with my meal and this branch always gets it right. So I decided to give them a review because they should be given credit for their consistency. In addition, the staff are friendly and the service is quick.
With Nando's in general, I have noticed their prices have increased quite a bit over time but its one of my staples that I love so I just have to deal with it. But a bonus I feel is that their meals are filling so it somewhat compensates for the price.
Lunch out at Nandos today. New menu, bigger prices but the same quality that I come to expect. Staff was really on the ball and no mess up with my order. Just love Nandos!!!
