Great experience thru and thru. Ambiance was good, the food was tasty, the stuff nice. Went there a second time in the next week unfortunately had to rush apparently because of load shedding and could not enjoy in the same way. But certainly a good spot to go.

Great service from a guy named Blessing. The burger had everything I was craving with the option to add whatever I wanted. The cheese bombs were good too, the dipping sauce served with the cheese bombs were great even for the chips. The Belgium chocolate milkshake was smooth, yummy and not overly sweet. Perfect cool when having a spicy burger. In the picture is the down size blueberry waffle, perfectly balanced and actually enough for 2 kids to share. I was so full I couldn't finish the top half 😅 great easy atmosphere for a catch up.

If you keen for a rocking time with fantastic hamburgers, waffles, milkshakes and more then you definitely want to visit RocoMamas. They have friendly staff, good food, and a fantastic vibe/setting. There is inside and outside seating and the venue is wheelchair friendly including bathroom. They are easy to find as they are on the main road and easy to spot. There is ample free parking across the road with a signaled crosswalk. Highly recommended.

Phoned to order a meal. Person who took my order was very helpful and recommended a burger special which came with fries (great portion and so fresh).... I ordered a milkshake as well and the custard milkshake was recommended to me. Glad I listened. Amazing shake. Overall. Efficiency and professionalism were fantastic. My order was ready asap. The burger was so meaty, cheese, saucy and just damn tasty. Packaging of food is great too.... Thank you guys.

This is my go to place for thee best burgers, no questions asked. Took hubby for his birthday here and he got the most amazing waffle, compliments from Rocomama as his birthday treat. Thanks guys 😊

Perfect service, perfect views and perfect delivery! My friend and I initially went for student specials, only to find out that its only valid for Monday to Friday, but the waiter told us about another special that they currently had instead and we opted for that.

Blew my expectations rollout the water was my first time .. n I was recommended by lots of ppl before I finally gave in n man was I impressed definitely goin again n then again n after that again for ever... the burger I had was delicious honestly... n the decor is jus soo amazing as the staff ... clean place

Must say that RocoMamas Rondebosch is the best of all I have been to. The food was amazing. Our waitress, Swizzy, was super friend and brought her A+ game in serving us. Keep it up! You've become my favourite franchise

I've been to a few of the RocoMamas branches before, including Rondebosch on a few occasions. The atmosphere, the staff & the quality of the food my family & I enjoyed this evening, was simply SUPERB. I made a point of speaking to the management & our waiter this evening about this. Well done guys on the opening. We needed a RM in our area! Now you just need to work on the details. 1, Make sure all items are on the burger that was ordered - must say the burgers were epic though(and the chips are to die for) 2, Don't take plates away while we still eating. 3, Before you slap up with the bill, ask if we're keen to try any of your desserts... I know the place was way too busy the night we were there and I found that too many waitresses were on the floor. Special thanks to one of the managers for the lovely chat and explanation on certain things. Expect us to come back as the place has a huge potential! All the best!

So glad to finally have a branch in the Southern Suburbs! The service was exceptionally good especially considering how busy they are at the moment. The food did not disappoint and we got exactly want we went for. Notable mention needs to be made of the décor, it's beautiful and very detailed. I look forward to many more visits.

🍔 The burgers and ribs are out of this world! 🌍 💥 Definitely try the six bombs (I asked what these are and I’m so glad I tried them...fried balls of jalapeño, feta, or chili cheese). I can see why they call them bombs because that’s precisely what they are. DA BOMB. 🔥 I love spicy and the hot sauce and jalapeno bombs are HOT. Sooo good but definitely beware if you are timid about spicy food. 👌🏼 The old skool bbq ribs (beef) were just what I was hoping for after a long hike up lions head. So tender and juicy, warm and flavorful. I’ll be back for these. 🧡 Great ambiance, warm and attentive service. Perfect for a get together with friends over a drink and bite to eat! 🍻oh and they serve beer, wine, shakes, juice, coffee, etc. 🤗

Great service we received and the food was awesome

I frequent RocoMamas to purchase my mother her weekly fix. The rockstar burger with cheese bombs is to die for. A good gshake on the side ends this awesome treat. The self service menu with easy check boxes is a novel method to ensure you get what you order. This place is super busy on most nights, so it always helps to call in before coming to sit down and eat. They start on your food so the wait isn't too long.

Last night, Friday 30th August, I went to Rocomamas with my girlfriend and another friend of mine. The restaurant had been on our radar for a while as we have heard some good things from friends who have been there. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly host, once seated our waiter came round quickly to introduce himself. We were off to a good start.<br/><br/>The atmosphere is busy and vibey, the colour scheme of reds and blacks mixed with wood makes for an interesting aesthetic. The kitchen is open for patrons to see, the intensity behind the pass on a busy Friday night adds something to the energy in the room. To order food you have to tick off what you want and how much of it, the waiter tears off the sheet and places the order through to the kitchen. <br/><br/>We took a while to order drinks, I deciding on a glass of red wine for which there appears to be one option. When the glass of wine came however it unfortunately tasted remarkably like vinegar and was not pleasant. Before sending it back I asked my friend to taste it as its possible it could just be me but he confirmed there was a very distinct vinegar taste to it. Against my nature I sent it back and asked for a coke light instead.<br/><br/>A few minutes later the manager, a guy in a beanie, appeared asking who had sent the wine back. The way he addressed us made me feel like a naughty school child who had drawn on the classroom wall. I said I had sent it back because it wasn't pleasant and tasted old. He told me that he had tasted it himself and there was nothing wrong with it. I told him well my friend and I had both tasted it to which he responded that it must be our palates that are the problem. Now, I did not appreciate his tactic of blaming the customer. It left a bad taste, worse than the wine. <br/><br/>Putting that behind us we got on with the evening. We placed our orders, all three of us having burgers in various guises. The burgers were excellent. There is no two ways about it. I have to say something about the chips. You get three options; small, medium and large. Never take the large. The amount of chips that arrive is completely excessive. They are fantastic chips, don't get me wrong but unless you want to eat the equivalent of ten potatoes stick to the medium or small. The medium also being more than enough.<br/><br/>We finished off the food and decided that best course of action at this point was to drink a lot of water. We then decided on pudding, waffles to be exact. There are three or four options, all of which come in a full or downsized portion. My friend had the classic waffle with syrup and ice scream full portion while we had 'Oreos and scream'. Our waffles were fantastic. The downsized portion is way more than enough, its a full waffle that in any other establishment would be the full portion. When my friends full arrived it was just way too much.<br/><br/>So in all in all the evening wasn't bad. The food was great albeit the service was slow, probably owing to it being a Friday night but we did wait more than 30min for our food to arrive. Our waiter did his best under the pressure so top marks to him. The manager left a lot to be desired and probably should work on his people skills if hospitality is the career path he has chosen. I did not take kindly to being blamed for his off wine. To the credit of the restaurant they took the wine off the bill although I did not mind paying for it as I don't send food or drinks back in the hope they don't charge me, if at all. I can recommend the restaurant but with hesitation as my interactions with management do make me think twice.<br/> <br/><br/>The rating of 2 is based on the slow pace of the food and the manager's attitude as that did put a rather negative spin on the evening. With out his attitude I would rate the restaurant 3 - 3.5.

First of all, service was extremely slow. Took forever to get my food and drinks and it wasn't particularly busy. Both the food and drinks in our group was brought at different times, causing us to have to either start drinking or eating before the rest of the group. Waitress was friendly, though. Only 2 toilets shared by both boys and girls which isn't everyone's favorite. They also make use of energy saving lights which means the lights can go out at any point while you're doing your business. Now that the bad is out of the way, the location is good. Plenty of parking across the street with a pedestrian crossing, which makes it easier to cross the road. The food is amazing! Very well presented and tasted exactly as the menu describes. A real treat for the taste buds. A good selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks on the menu. The milkshakes are especially good. Very vibrant atmosphere which can be a bit too loud at times but if it's a high energy environment you're looking for, then this is the place for you. Very good value for money and worth the visit if it's good food you're looking for.

Food is always consistently good. We hardly ever wait long to be served or for our food to come and even though it's a relatively small branch, it's never uncomfortably full or crowded. Remains one of my favourite restaurants!

This is my fourth time at this branch. Every time I hope that it will get better but sadly is disappoints every time.<br/>If the service was better - you would get your food was but sadly this is never the case. 45 min wait for food. 20min wait for drinks.<br/>Just really slow service over all. Always forgetting a few drink orders and food items.<br/>Sauces are served ice cold so its really not enjoyable to dip your wings or fries into. Never has a manager come around to check on the tables.<br/><br/>I really enjoy the brand but this outlet just misses the mark in terms of service and expediting.

The beef was very dry and borderline powdery. Was very disappointed with my classic cheese meal that I ordered via one of the food delivery services. The fries were delicious though.

Ordered a beef burger and got chicken. :/ Seems to be a common issue because this may be the forth time something has gone wrong with an order from the Rondebosch branch.

Absolutely spot on service! Orders were taken quickly and food delivered promptly. At least 3 different people came to check on us throughout the evening, burgers on point and love the cabin feel interior. The Green Point branch could learn a thing or 2 from here.

Not the best burger I’ve had. The veggie patty had a mushy texture which was quite unappetising, and the portion wasn’t very generous. It was also drowned in mayo. Service was slow, and the food came a bit cold. Highlight was probably the chips, which were at least a large portion.
