This is a hidden gem off the beaten track. Usually we wisp through Riversdal but we decided to seach for a Geocache at the Old Jail. We love the history of this place and tried to imagine how it must have been to be imprisoned here 150 years ago. Kids will love it and the coffee shop is very reasona
Lovely filling Breakfast, the big round dining table made you feel like you are back home on a Christmas morning. Value for money. Friendly staff. The place is oozing with history. Best to go when you have some tome to really indulge in the antiques and books.
The old jail has been tastefully converted to a small restaurant, art galleries and antique shops. Every little corner has a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered. The lady running the restaurant was delightful, our lunch was simple and tasty.
We stopped at this very interesting place on our way home from vacation. We regret not getting any food as the whole place smelled so lovely. The history of the building and the atmosphere had us in aww.

Stunning place to visit and lovely restaurant under the trees or you can sit inside. They have cream soda floats and delicious milkshakes.

Cute find! Glad we stopped by. Very nice setting in the courtyard. I really enjoyed my Toasties and the carrot cake was definitely a hit. The signboard outside doesn't do justice to how quaint it is inside. Worth a stop for lunch in Riversdale if driving down the Garden Route.
