Great food, great views, great wines! We had lunch at the Pleasant Pheasant after our Allesverloren wine tasting and it did not disappoint. The views are stunning, the setting very relaxing and the food was delicious - we can recommend the calamari starter and pizzas. Our little one also loved her milkshake and the jungle gym in the garden.
Unfortunately we did not have the luxury of enjoying a sit down meal with a nice glass of wine due to the level 4 lock down restrictions, but that did not stop us from getting very nice take away beef burgers with some delicious onion rings and fries...
We can recommend their tasty burgers and friendly service any day of the week.
Today 2021/12/18 we could enjoy delicious pizzas under the huge trees at the restaurant, and yes, still friendly service all round. Do pop in and enjoy a meal when in yhe area
Pleasant venue for a quick bite or a casual meal. Good outdoor seating area and enough room for kids to have a run about. Should be a good place to visit in summer.

Service was great considering that we were 40+ people rocking up there early on a Sunday morning! Food was also great!! Will go there again! Highly recommend it!

We used to go there often when the kids were younger as it has a great play area.
Last night I was desperate for a take out as I didnt want to cook...admittedly it was not my first choice, but the only place open in Riebeek West (on a Wed night?!).
So glad I went...got pizzas which were excellent and prepared super quickly.
We will be back and will bump it up the list of choices.

A real gem .. and not that far to get to. Superb service from Clinton, scrumptious food from a varied menu. Plus a few in the group had specials of the day which turned out to be great deals. And the wine was a wonderful addition. Fantastic experience.. we will be back.
If you are in the mood for pizza, then this is the place... The most amazing Pizza with the thinnest, crispy base, cooked to perfection in a wood fired oven... there are other items on the menu that are equally appetizing... like their Fish and chips and awesome burgers... overall, this is a must visit place when you are in the area...
They have the best pizzas in the valley according to me! They also have an absolute devine menu, a cosy atmosphere and drinks to suit everyone. There is a very nice play area for kids as well. If you visit the Riebeek Valley please do yourself a favour and stop there.
