Beautiful venue with delicious wine and excellent olive oil and olive products. Even skincare and bath products that are made from olives are on offer. They offer olive oil and wine tasting. Cozy atmosphere with helpful and professional staff. Beautiful gardens and fantastic outdoor play area for the kids. Highly recommend for a family outing. Covers all the needs of the young and young at heart

Fantastic wine and olive tasting here. Food in the garden was basic (pizza and burger) but VERY TASTY. Lovely grounds and family friendly, situated adjacent to the road, so easy access. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for a stop en route to wherever you’re heading

Brilliant wine stop on the Riebeek Kasteel wine route. Wines were fabulous, and the olive tasting with Carolyn is a MUST.

Great stop. Outside areas are well shaded with plenty of space for picnics and children. The only disappointing thing was the olive tasting. This entails going into a separate room that showcases the entire range. You can then taste what you want with a lady providing the needed information. This is awkward and stiff as there is minimal space between people coming in to shop for products and people wanting to taste. Suggestion - have plates that people can take to their tables. Yes, more dishes and admin but a greater customer experience which can translate into sales.

Such a lovely peaceful place to go and relax. There are fire pits, and picnic tables to enjoy. The olive tasting is absolutely AMAZING at R35 per person. The kiddies play area is also superb. The toilets are very clean a d looked after aswell. We will definitely be back.

Recently went to Kloovenburg for a wine and olive tasting, they did not disappoint. The wines were beautiful on the nose and the palette, the olives tasting was truly top class...especially the olive jam and olive chutney....I bought of each and they did not see the end of the week. The facilities are a lovely blend of modern wine farm and family home, clearly displaying that this business has family at its heart. We even had the honour of meeting the owner briefly and he seems like a genuinely nice individual. I must say though my favourite has to be the chubby golden retrievers, I almost took one home. If you visit, you'll know of what I speak. I cannot recommend this place enough...

Imagine a beautiful setting in the “woods” with picnic pods, picnic benches, family friendly, child friendly with drinks catering for adults and kids, a counter serviced order and collect pizza, burgers, chips, droe wors and the like. The play area has a sand pit, trampoline, play structure and a water play fountain. Beautiful, clean bathroom facilities. Truly a hidden gem in the Swartland area.

By far the best stop you can make in Riebeek Kasteel! We've visited Kloovenberg twice in the last year and every time we leave with a car full of wine - the wine is just so good! The tasting room is cozy and the sommelier easy to talk to and very insightful. All the wines are great but a make sure to try their Granache Brut which is particularly special. They also have a lovely olive tasting and you definitely want to take home a bottle of their olives in blueberry dressing and chilli infused olive oil. For the kiddies and non-alchoholics, they have a stunning natural sparkling apple juice. The outside play area and seating is also really great if traveling with a family. There is a restaurant on site but we din't have anything, yet.

Did wine tasting, was first worried when tasting is done per glass. I.e. you pay per glass tasted instead of the common x price for 5 wines. However portions were … favourable. Definitely a reason among others to return.

Fabulous experience! Kids did the olive tasting and I did the olive and wine pairing. At least 15 different olive products to try. What impressed me was how many products they are making from the olive harvest— from oil and tapenade to brined olives and body care products. We loved something called olive caviar;) clever way to use blemished olives (or that is what I am guessing). I had a tasting in Pretoria before coming here so I didn’t do a full range but I tried the champagne, the unwooded Chenin and a red. I liked the chenin the first time and the second as well. Grounds are lovely. We also visited eight foot which is above the winery on the pass as you come down to the Winery where we had a lovey coffee! Try the hand crème. We all loved it.

Beautiful scenery, perfect for romantic pics. A nice drive out for weekends to just relax and unwind. Nice little eatery, play park for kids and you can't stop by without purchasing some olives and olive products and of course wine.
