Excellent excellent excellent food! My word best steak I’ve had in ages and the blue cheese sauce just wouza! lovely little restaurant on the main road with really lovely owners and an amazing chef ! What an experience you have to eat their when you in town or passing threw cause wow just the best

Host and food were equally delightful. Attention to detail and hospitality can not be faltered. The lamb shank I ordered need to be mentioned as being delectable. What a wonderful evening.

We got there just as they closed and the owner anyway invited us in. Very friendly staff, excellent food.

Let me start off by saying I have never received such swift service as I have received this evening at Old Dalby. The steak was done to perfection. The chips and mushroom sauce was amazing. I need to stress that the service was really fast and friendly. The Host did not hover. The Homemade Ice Cream

Absolutely amazing atmosphere, the host went above and beyond to the service and the food is amazing. I had the Old Daiby burger with the actual sirloin steak.. And oh my gosh I've never had such an amazing burger in my life. What ever you do don't judge by the looks outside when driving past.. Ple

nice food,good price , plates like a frame

Food was excellent.We both had pork belly which was well priced and tasty.could have had more crackling. Home made ice cream was delicious. They played some old Springbok radio hits which was delightful for our party! Some nice art added to the ambiance.

We had lamb shank with mash & veg and fillet medium rare with chips. It was the best 👌 Management extremely hospitable. Best service received outside Caoe Town thus far. Thank you for a wonderful experience

The Old Dolby is one of our favourite local restaurants. The menu is limited but in our experience the food has been consistently good and the service is excellent - there is merit in not offering a wide choice in a small restaurant. It's good to eat beside the blazing fire in winter, and it's cool
