Review Khrua Thai= - Richards Bay

Always very pleasant. Views over the small craft harbor in the late afternoon are amazing. Food quantity is always good but the levels of spice can be inconsistent. Service was good but it was quite time of the day.

Highly recommend Khrua Thai if you are a sushi lover, they have half-price specials available on a Tuesday and Thursday. This restaurant is very popular, so making a reservation is essential to avoid disappointment. It can be quite busy at times, so the service does become slow sometimes.

One main meal and one starter easily satisfied two adults, portions are just right. Flavours are authentic and fresh. Service is efficient and the view of the small crafts marina is superb. One can sit inside or outside on the deck over looking the fishes.

The food was stunning very tasty really value for money. Service was good. The drinks took a little bit long to get to the table but other then that it was really great. The restrooms are very clean and smells so fresh,i would definitely visit them again.

Love the Pad thai. Reminds me of Thailand. Been craving some pad kra pow, can't wait to taste theirs. 😋

I cannot more highly recommend Khrua Thai for authenticate tasty Thai food. The service is superb as well, food comes out quickly and tastes just like food from Thailand. The ingredients are all fresh and wholesome too! Really took me right back to happy memories of Thailand. Give it a try, the Red Curry and Tom Yum are to die for!

I have been here a lot of times over the year. I have tried a lot of dishes and every single new dish I have tried pleasantly surprises me. I thought I had a favorite dish but I love them all! The flavours, textures and portions sizes. Absolutely love this place I'm there at least 3 to 4 times a month.

The food was absolutely delicious and very generous portions. The service was a tad bit slow but the quality of food made up for it. I can definitely recommend the starters and noodle dishes

It's like Thailand is Richards Bay! The is simply nothing negative to say about the wonderful establishment. The staff are attentive, helpful and polite. The food is exceptional and the variety is plentiful. Atmosphere is always welcoming and tied exceptionally well to the Thai culture. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone as there is something on the menu that you will enjoy, no matter how fussy you may be.

Very good quality shusi, went on a half-price evening. Service was great, and the waiter got the whole order correct. Shusi was amazing, also very well priced. Had a lovely evening.

Staff are friendly. Place is clean and views are good. Sushi and other food is tasty and appetizing. No real issues since having dined there a few times. Take away is well packaged and take about 20 minutes.

Food was great! Been a while since I was impressed with Thai food as most restaurants are similar and quite commercial. I recommend the Pad Thai Noodles in curry sauce. Amazing, don’t be afraid to ask for hot. Staff were very friendly and the view of the harbor was great.

What a pleasant surprise we got when we tried them yesterday for the 1st time. It’s not a fancy restaurant, but rather a small family run business. I don’t think they even sell alcohol. But their service and food is excellent...the bamboo rolls, salmon roses and prawn tempura are the best ever. Apparently on Tuesday their sushi is half price. We will definitely be back again.
