VGA Honeydew is very nice, not that big as it looks though, it's just that it's wide & opened inside the changing rooms are wide enough, the v club is also wide. The parking is also huge. They have new machines as well 👌.
The was some funny smell in the showers I think it was the drain, hope it will be sorted out.
Other than that it was a good visit.

Since originally posting my review, improvements have been made. Boards have been posted explaining the machine repair delay, asking staff and members to wear masks and the cleaning boards have also been used during cleaning cycles. Thank you for improving and showing commitment to gym members. Much appreciation!

Every time I come to this gym the machine is either frozen or not working.
Overall the gym is clean and weights are available.
Hazardous cable spanning the whole gym floor wide with no boards to indicate the possible fall.
Staff and many people not wearing the required mask inside the gym. Only when entering the gym people are wearing afterwards no one has a mask on?

This is a nice gym, but the weight section is too small, and this section can get very busy at times. Virgin Active should think about upgrading this gym by getting more Dumbells and maybe adding 1 more Smith Machine.
My usual Virgin Active is Randburg ... this morning with loadshedding, I phoned around and Eagle Canyon's Virgin was on a different time slot.
I walked in, swiped my card and the lady welcomed me by name. When I asked her if they have 'my' bike, she didn't know.
Walked upstairs, didn't see anything and then .... 4 of the bikes (with backs and wide seats) were there!!!! I cycled for 30 minutes to get my heartrate up. The next 30 minutes I pumped my legs - managed the best distance ever! 16,33 km in 30 minutes!!!
Overall the gym is light and airy. Will defo visit again.
Nice, small gym (no heated kiddies pool). Nice that steam room is in ladies' bathrooms and not shared. Friendly staff
Back at the gym for 8 months, so happy I picked this one, love the swimming pool, open and it breathes, equipment top notch. Take away or sit down meals....so healthy👌👌and the best is the staff at reception, friendly and helpful 🙌
Great Gym The only problem is people sitting at machines and then talking for 10 - 15 mins on their cell phones, its usually the same people every time. I think management should address this as they do in other clubs

The Honeydew Virgin Active is fantastic. The gym is well maintained and the staff are fantastic very friendly and well trained professionals. I always enjoy my workouts here as well as the variety of group class avaliable such as the spinning classes or grid classes. However, the gym does get extremely full in the afternoons
Wide variety of equipment across all levels of fitness. From beginner to experienced. Also a spacious gym. Only complaint is the lack of a power solution during load shedding leaving gym goers unable to use cardio machines.
Really really nice gym. The pool is the main attraction and they get it right. The paid lessons sometimes get in the way, but I suppose everyone needs a chance. Cleaning facilities are also good. Staff can be better though.
