It seems like the franchise has abandoned beer drinkers. There used to be a small range of beers on tap. Then one day, they were all gone. Okay, not all, they still have Castle Lite. In my opinion a beverage for people who do not actually like beer. The rest of the drinks menu is also really not enticing. The burgers are great though.

Received such exceptional service from Sean, what an asset to the team, even saw him help some ladies and carry takeaways to their car. The food was absolutely delicious and so fresh! One of my favorite RocaMamas.

Really enjoyed our time here. The servers were friendly and efficient and the food was really good. (Well filled burgers and delicious spices on the sweet potato fries)

This RocoMamas certainly delivered great flavour. The service was excellent and attention to detail from staff was much appreciated. The food was ready in good timing and my Buffalo Strips were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of sauce. The RocoMocha was the perfect ending on a cold afternoon. Will definitely visit again. PS: The portion was much bigger, I did eat some before taking the pic :)

Management has changed for the better. Burgers were tasty better than before. We had burgers Mushroom&Whizz, Bacon, Avo & Guac & a Chicken Club. The skinny chips are crispy! There are always 3 Limited Edition Specials that change regularly. There is a Set Menu Special that looks Yummty, with a starter & dessert for the sweet tooth, see the photo!!

This Roccomammas has the absolute best service I’ve ever received from almost every restaurant I’ve ever been too. It’s a place that values loyalty, customer satisfaction and impeccable quality in their products. I have been going here for the past 3 years and I can honestly say there has never been one time I have every been disappointed by this place. Well deserved of 5 Stars, my waiter in particular, Sean, does the most for his customers

Service was amazing! Give Lawrence a promotion! He was the only waiter there, and he was an absolute champion, keeping all the tables happy and fed.

I was served by different waiters each time but all of them offered excellent service. This RocoMamas is really customer oriented through out my whole experience.

Not my first time visiting this store. Each time it has been a great experience with fantastic burgers and the waffles are great too. Enjoy the service, the food, the atmosphere. The kids enjoy building and play jenga like games with the large wooden blocks too.

Would love to give a positive review on Manager Koketso Selomo at Rocco Mamas Randburg. He assisted me with a complaint recently, and without any hesitation or questions he quickly resolved my issue . He was incredibly friendly and such an absolute pleasure to talk to. He has great work ethic with an approachable and warm personality. I really wish they were more Managers like you in the food industry. My family and i will definitely be making more visits to your store. Thank you for the amazing customer service !

Their burgers are amazing! I love the fact that you can customize them. If you are like me and can't eat a whole burger, roccomamas offers a downsized burger, which is great. And oh, do yourself a favour and try their milkshakes!

We have just had dinner at your Randpark branch. I would just like to inform you that it was the worst service I have ever had. Firstly it took us almost an hour and a half to get our food. When it arrived it was not what I had ordered. Everyone around us had ordered eaten and left before any of our food had arrived. When I started to complain the waiter came an apologised saying " sorry my head is all over the place". It this is how you treat your customers then you have just lost one for good. I think that all of Weltevreden Park and Randpark Ridge should know how you treat customers. Regards a highly upset customer

What a welcoming place... I've been to many of the venues... This one by far the best. Dispite my weekend hangover... Our Server, The Manager... Everything was on ball. Smiles all around... I took my Mom there and she can't wait to go back. The food was amazing I would like to thank everyone on shift. People are quick to complain... But this is praise. You guys are awesome and thank you for an amazing meal and awesome service. We'll deffenetly be coming past again. If I'm not mistaken our server was Ghotso. Thanks again to the Manager for being awesome with the stickers.

I am totally in love with the food in this place! The staff is super friendly & the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. This is my favourite hang-out spot.

Best RocoMamas ive been too. Had absolutely amazing food and was served by the most incredible waiter - Richard. Asked for a skinny cappuccino (didnt have low fat milk - he went out his way to go and by the milk) he then didnt charge for the cappuccino. Thank you Richard - You went out of your way to make it an enjoyable eveing.

Absolutely love the "build-it-yourself" Smashburgers, the craft beers and ciders, and the awesome atmosphere (great staff and brilliant music selection). So close to home and my wife and I are regulars. Just something of a concern, considering the armed robbery at the Rivonia branch last night; are there any plans to improve the outdoor lighting in the parking lot? Just feels a bit dodgy and not the most confidence inspiring when leaving after an epic meal. Best regards, Bryan

Im not an easy person to pissoff, but tonight Roco mamas succeeded with that. Stood there like two idiots at the counter waiting for someone to just take our order. It wasnt busy, two tables and another couple waiting for their take away. Manager walked passed us twice and only cared when we decided to walk out.

This was my first time at Rocomamas and I loved it !! The service was amazing and our waitress Zanele was just fantastic!! Thank you Rocomamas Randpark Ridge for showing me that there is still restaurants with amazing customer service!!

Lived the place and the food and the staff all was awesome

We get food from you often, burgers & ribs, & have recommended you often however my burger tonight was a real disappointment. It was over cooked & all broken up and flooded with mayo, the bun was soaked. The fries were old or recooked but not edible. Second time with the heavy sauce (2 different burgers) so maybe a word to the chefs to ease off the sauce. Usually food & service excellent so I am sure this is an easy fix

Foos is extremely salty to the point of inedible. Lips burnt from the amount of salt on the fries. Staff are friendly and service was quick. will not be going back. Like the fact there is very little plastic in their take away packaging.

Burger tasted off manager had attitude won't be back to the location. RANDBURG no problems ever. Wow been here so many times but a bit sad now

Good place for a quick burger. Their veg option is very nice too. The ambiance in this place is a bit stuffy so I wouldn’t do a sit down meal here but for takeaways it’s top notch the food comes quick and it’s not badly priced in terms of the quality of the food.

Ordered for collection @ 19:22, was told 15mins at time of order. It is currently 19:52, I have been standing in this joint for 30mins, not a single staff member as acknowledge me and still no sign of my order either.

What an awesome vibey place. The waiters are awesome (all of them!). The food is superb. You get exactly what you ask for, no place for that lettuce leaf here. It's certainly not a quiet romantic dinner for two kind of place, if that's what you're after, it's fresh, funky and rocking

I love this place. Perfect for fussy eaters, since you get to decide exactly what is and isn't in your burger. Great barbecue sauce, perfect portion size, friendly management, and all around a nice place to grab a bite.

Disappointed with this branch. Firstly seems we got there during a shift change. We managed to get a waiter in no time but placing the order and paying is what seems to take forever as he got preoccupied by other happenings.<br/><br/>The burger was not too bad. <br/><br/>The wings were a total let down with all that sauce on them they still managed to taste very bland.<br/><br/>Complete let down will give this branch a skip from now on.

Not a place I'd go for a romantic date or a leisurely meal, but for a quick midweek lunch it hits the spot. The atmosphere is bustling and cheerful, the service was friendly and amazingly efficient and the food was delicious.

Late night takeouts, decided to head to the Rocomamas in my area. Never really been a fan of the burgers so I decided to try the chicken smashburger hoping it would be better than the beef, with a side of fries of course. I'm still a huge of the fries, still the best fries I've ever had compared to all the other joints in the city. The burger on the hand, huge huge disappointment. Wasn't sure if it was really chicken because it tasted like some sort of fish/tuna based patty, didn't enjoy it at all, didn't finish it either. If you're a fan of the beef one, I don't recommend experimenting with the chicken version.

Rocomamas seems to be doing something right, and I can't seem to stay away either. From the wide selections of burger toppings, to the absolutely delicious sweet treats (milkshakes and flapjacks), I'm addicted, (even with its strange location next to the garage). And this particular Rocomamas doesn't seem to get too busy so it makes for a good stop off place for almost any craving fix. The staff are very accommodating, and will squeeze you in, even without a booking. And the food holds up to the Rocomamas name, simply delicious, served hot, and with lots of flavour.  Definitely worth the visit.

Heard about the new craze in burger places for months. Then made the fatal mistake of trying them out. Only thing nice was the chips. The burger was bad and I spent the night regretting every bite. I'm not sure if it's only the Honeydew branch or if the burgers are just as bad ever where else. Won't be back

Food is just as good as the other Rocomamas stores that I have been to however the atmosphere here is not that great. I think the place is too cramped and the waiters don't seem to be as friendly.

Burgers still great and beats any fast food outlet but attention to detail required ie keeping tables clean, providing great service... The fries are in a class of its own, makes me happy every time!!

I generally dislike chain restaurants.. most of the time the quality of the food is reduced by the need to produce the food quickly. With Rocomamas - I've always found the food to be consistently great. The menu has a wide variety of burgers and milkshakes and drinks, each unique and specials changing often. You can also choose to design your own burger and toppings. We ordered the chilli cheese bomb (hot and great), mushroom Swiss and some ribs. The burgers were great as usual and the ribs were pretty good. Will be definitely be visiting Rocomamas for fast food.

Came to this branch for a birthday party. It was still excellent! Built my own burger again, lovely. The staff were very accommodating as we were a large group with lots of kids. Food was as prompt as it could be as they were bursting at the seams with customers. And of course they let us sing happy birthday, loudly. Love. Jambo.

Very small branch compared to the others; however it offers the same vibrancy, atmosphere and liveliness. The food is made to order so some patience is required but the food is worth the wait, trust me. I ordered their beef ribs and fries... The ribs were Amazeballs!!! I mean geewiz, my tastebuds were driven to a frenzy. So juicy, so succulent and sticky. Two thumbs up. The fries 🍟 on the other hand were such a let down, mine were rather dry/too crispy and not well spiced...

Easy dining in a traditional Burger Joint setting. Scrumptious Smash Burgers and most importantly a wholesome array of Craft Beers. Service fast and friendly. Great way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon with good company. Worth a long drive. Recommended.

They serve some of the best burgers in town. The size of the restaurant is quite small, making it feel a bit cramped. But what they lack in space, they make up for with their burgers. Good value for money.

Popped into Roccomammas on search of a good burger, and we found it. Nice patty, yummy sauces and good fries. Vibey with good service from fast moving waiters. Definitely worth a follow up visit.

If you are a burger joint and specialize in burgers, then your burgers better be something special, not the case here. Staff not very attentive at all, waiting 10 mins before even seeing a menu. Craft beer prices are ridiculous. I don't understand what all the hype is about, pretty average burger in a pretty average restaurant.<br/>

Definitely the best burgers in JHB. Rocomamas never disappoints. This branch is in a bit of an obscure location but I'm glad its less than 1km away from my house. Service is always quick and the food is affordable. The burgers aren't as big as wolfpack or dukes, but for me the size is perfect.

Brilliant! Was my first time there but I wish I had gone sooner !! Food was to die for, burgers like no other! And the staff so friendly and helpful. Will be back soon!

There is nothing better than a beer and a burger after an open water swim. I have developed a penchant for their bacon, avo and cheese burger, washed down with an icy cold Jack Black (yes I actually have tried something other than sav blanc...).<br/><br/>I love the fact that the standard across the franchises I have been to is the same. No surprises here, just incredibly tasty and exactly as big as it should be.<br/><br/>The only downside to this franchise outlet is that the view is of a major arterial route and a filling station.<br/>(And I have deducted points for not having ample stock of Jack....)

Disgusting service. They took my order for takeaway. But 45 minutes later nothing had happened. I just left. Not recommended and I won't be back.

Love the food, but the music is always too heavy and TOO LOUD! Means the waiters and cooks are also screaming over it, which is not great in a small space.<br/><br/>Pity, otherwise a good place with great food

Another branch of the new craze in burgers. The menu we know and love, delicious smash burgers and efficient service. If you love burgers you won't be disappointed.

Visited this branch of Rocomamas and what a let down compared to the other we have visited. Heavy metal head banging music playing in background. Relatively quiet. Beer not cold. Both my wifes chicken smashburger and my beef were like flat pancakes. Hers tasted like chicken schnitzel. Told staff and we were told that "lots of people say that". Fries were good. Bacon on mine was so overcooked I could hardly cut it. A quick in and out and will need some serious convincing to go back in there. Rather go back to the other Rocomamas store we frequent up the road. Far far better

Really good hamburgers, with great service. The milkshakes are delicious. I will recommend this spot to anyone wanting a quick bite or take away.

Only had takeaways at this branch. <br/>Love the quick service and LOVE that I can order a glass of wine to drink while I wait for it. <br/>Our favourite burgers are bacon and cheese and classic cheese <br/>Tip: when ordering takeaways one large chips is more than enough for 4 people

I really enjoy roccomammas. They are doing these monthly specials where they do different types of burgers with awesome fillings. This month. The chili cheese bomb burger. It was fantastic. Nice friendly waiters. Not my favorite branch but food is still top quality. Well done to whoever invented roccomammas.

Worst branch by far. Been three times, they messed up the order for the second and last time. Foods good. Beers good. Service is utterly atrocious.

RocoMamas Beyers is the best by far! The friendly service even on the busiest of nights just helps with the wait. The burgers are real and topping selection has a bit for everyone!

Not my favourite Rocomamas branch. Had a much better experience at the Fourways and Ferndale branch in all respects.<br/><br/>Really wanted to like this branch as I stay close by but haven't been back after two disappointing visits.

The burger was dry. My waitress went awol. I had to move tables to accommodate other customers. The first impression was good but really didn't last. Not planning a second visit.

I gave this branch quite a good review.  But having been back there once more my experience I had was totally the opposite from the last one I had.  My first experience was good, we were greeted at the door with a smile.  This time around no greeting.  The place was not busy and a few waiters were standing at the counters talking to each other.  I had to find my own way to a table and not once did any waiter look my way.  I had to eventually call someone to come and help me.  Again the burger was good but I was quite upset that they can become complacent so quickly after opening and frankly I felt unwelcome.  There also seems to be a table ‘reserved’ for friends/family as both times I have been to this branch I am not sure if it is the owner or manager but this person will be chatting at that table the entire time.  I had to physically interrupt the guy’s conversation with the table of girls as I needed to place my order and could not find a waiter.  I find this a little bit unprofessional. A good burger alone is not going to cut it.  I also ordered the coleslaw again and it was such a measily portion for R30 and felt ripped off.  Having had this a couple of times now at other branches i know size to expect.  I will rather go to the Fourways branch they have been consistently good.

So a couple of friends and I decided to give the new Rocomamas on Beyers a test run ;) (our excuse to smash our face with a smash burger) a very cosy environment, could be bigger! Yet it was service with speed and a smile. Our feast of wings, ribs, smash burger and those delicious frys has us rolling out of there! Keep up the great work, we will be back!

So a new Rocomamas has opened so had to give it a try...it delivered its delish burgers....tried out a new variation smash burger with rocket, guac,hot sauce and mozzarella. It was really good. My only criticism was the bacon was fried a bit too much on both burgers. Awesome spot though
