Review Wimpy - Randburg

Wimpy just never fails to amaze, but this Wimpy probably has the best service of all the Wimpys I know. Wellington was super friendly and quick and my food was out in no time. Loved the double double special burger! I got smiles from Wellington, my waiter, and the manager came to ask me if I was happy. What more could you ask for?

I don’t normally write reviews, but the service I got today was incredible. Absolutely incredible. It was fast, fresh and exceptional. My waitress, Jude, was one of the best waitrons I’ve have ever been served by. She delivered everything at break neck speed. Got my order perfect and even got me a glass of water before I could utter the words. She was friendly and efficient. After I left the restaurant and continued with my shopping I walked past again to see her cleaning and taking care of all the empty table. Best waitress I’ve seen in a long time

Maki was my server and provided excellent service. She checked on me multiple times during my visit and even recommended menu items to me. Keep up the good work!

I felt very welcomed by Eugene 😁, very patient and friendly. He know how to make you feel at ease.... It's like ur home away from home. I've been to quite few Wimpy branches and I've never been told about the Wimpy App... Eugene took his time and told me how the App works 😁. We're here at one of their busiest times but got the quickest service - we ordered at 11h47, food arrived at 11h52. And such welcoming, friendly service from Maki.

Maki provided us with great service! She was very friendly and the food was great! We will come back soon because of her service.

I'm so happy to report that I had a great experience at Wimpy at Cresta. We were served by Simpiwe and she was an absolute pleasure, constantly checking in and also giving us space. Her manager Wendy was also great! Very helpful and welcoming. We will be coming back! Thank you so much guys!😊

Worst breakfast ever from a wimpy, dirty grill, stale chips, overcooked lamb sausages and waited 10 minutes just to get our two black coffees.

Wimpy brekkie’s are practically a South African tradition...and my dad absolutely loves them. One Sunday saw us seated in this busy outlet. Staff were super friendly and efficient but that’s were the good stuff ends. What appears on the menu and what arrived on our plates were two very different things. It was a let down and walked away feeling totally ripped off. My dad’s Banger Brekkie was so bad, the toast looked like it had been compressed by a bulldozer and left in the sun, one and half over cooked sausages and literally two cherry tomatoes. The place was packed and just couldn’t face sending everything back. So sucked it up, won’t be back, great marketing but sadly does not translate to what you get.

So after the last week I have become re-acquainted with Wimpy as it is my in-laws fav breakfast spot and I couldn't convince them to try anywhere else so have become an expert in a week 😄 so the positives, great location, happy & friendly service, recognizable menu and very reasonably priced .. The negatives .. Where has the hot crispy bacon, yummy egg breakfast gone with big potato Rostis ... My eggs were swimming in oil, the bacon limp and two skinny little potato fingers - I was disappointed as this was not the norm for the Wimpy even though I haven't been for a while!!

So I am not a fan of wimpy but I do enjoy their breakfast. I have been to this branch quite a few times and its gets worse everytime. The service suck, the food- dont let me even go there.... I cant understand how Wimpy still makes money... They really do need to up their game.

Great location! I think that that is one of their best advantages.<br/><br/>They have divine milkshakes and the usual standard of Wimpy food. <br/><br/>A great place to have a quick meal, with very friendly staff.

At this Wimpy, you can expect the same menu and food quality than all the other Wimpy outlets.  However, this one is well located in the one wing of Cresta mall, you do not wait too long for your food, and you will encounter friendly staff members.  I will recommend their coffee, lemonade, and soda floats.

If you go to this Wimpy, you will know what to expect, and what you will get for what you have paid for.  The service is efficient, and the standard expectations from a Wimpy outlet apply here.  Worth a try if you are a Wimpy person.

Good ole Wimpy!!  This was actually at a Wimpy in Middelburg, but I'm sure I could have ordered this anywhere else ...<br/><br/>I really really wanted a muffin for breakfast.  So I ordered a Cappuccino muffin with a side order of a pork banger.  Hein had a big breakfast, so he shared his yummy onion rings, bacon and a soft fried egg with me.  Pure heaven!  And of course ... eaten with Wimpy Mustard!!!!!!!!!!  <br/><br/>Although ... everyone tasted the Wimpy tomato sauce?  Eeeeeeuwwwwww!!!  No thanks.  hahahahahahaha.

This is a regular wimpy. Not usually worth a vote. However, the staff are absolutely fantastic. They are friendly, thoughtful and honest. They are why this wimpy will continue going.

Wimpy is a popular place to go for a cheap greasy breakfast. We had breakfast here the one day and were quite annoyed to find bacon pieces on our fried egg. One would think there would be separate surfaces for different meats. The quality of food was average. The toasted sandwiches are nice for on the go snack. for a healthier option try the shape muesli smoothie.

Wimpy Cresta is our pit stop back home from varsity. We are quite the usuals at this Wimpy! When we arrive the staff are welcoming and friendly always which never disappoints us! We never have a problem with the food and the delivery of our meals. Overall one of the greater Winpy's in the area and we thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere even during the week! Relaxing music constantly playing creating a great vibe.
