Great place. The food is absolutely amazing. The staff are super friendly. The overall atmosphere is amazing. Definitely going back.

We loved the place. The ambience and the food was superb. They have super facility for kids. Pizza making, indoor play area and outdoor play area can keep them busy while parents can enjoy food. Will visit again and recommend.

Great attention to detail and AmAZING food. Was really taken back by how everything was delivered. Staff are amazing and their menu is huge. Meat lovers should definitely make a visit. Atmosphere is split into two sections. Dining area and the bar. This place is kid friendly with a large play area and quite nice for an evening.

Super friendly staff, very welcoming and relaxed vibe. Food was decent, could be a bit better but a good experience nonetheless.

Picanha had been on mind for the longest time! Then yesterday we decided to visit for some girls catch up with my cousin. One thing about this reasturant though is their excellent customer service, prior to visiting this establishment I had enquired about menu prices and specials on Facebook and the response rate was fast and the person responding was very patient and super professional. The service I experienced online matched being on site. From the warm welcome to great food! Many thanks to Mike who gave us brilliant suggestions and handled us like the MVPs of the day. The place is spacious and beautiful, we started off sitting somewhere in the middle and we decided to move to a booth! Really enjoyed my dining experience at this establishment. We had beer on tap and pizza, the most delicious pizza I have ever had!! And the chef was very generous on the rocket!! So yum.... Our choices for the day were Hawaiian and BBQ chicken. I would definitely visit this place again... And oh there is free wifi too!!

Having had a few excellent evenings at Picanha, both in the pub and the restaurant, we tested the breakfast menu. Fabulous value options under R30 complemented with classic favourites like French toast and interesting specialities like the Mexican Scramble. Worth adding a plate of chips to share - they are epic!

Great food, ordered a medium steak and it arrived medium. The waiters can be a bit slow though if it gets busy but otherwise service was great

Chilled place, good food, clean bathroom & friendly staff. Perfect place to take your kids if you have em because they have a great play area.

Great deals! We had the cocktail special and the pizza special- super happy with the food and drinks. Unfortunately the service was very slow even though the restaurant wasn't very busy-there were even several staff members watching TV and on their phones when we were trying to get their attention to order and pay. But the food and general ambience is very good, it's possible we just had a slow service day.

Despite the fact that we walked in and sat down 15 minutes prior to the kitchen closing, the staff were super friendly. Our server was attentive and the food, as usual, was absolutely phenomenal. Steak was cooked to perfection. Definitely going back again and again!

The folks at Picanha certainly know their way around a delicious sauce; the sauce on the Buffalo wings was incredible. The sauce for my perfectly cooked tomahawk steak was out of this world. Also a very nice looking restaurant inside, great homage to and imagery of cows.

We haven't been there in a long time. Everything on the menu looks and sounds very nice. Worst place to eat. Food was really disgusting. Will not go back

Really disappointing. This was our second bad experience here. I really hoped this time it would be different. Very long waiting times for food. And food disappointing. Kids pizzas looked like the frozen stuff you purchase at the local grocery store and make at home.

I have to say the staff are not very friendly. I waited like almost 20min before anyone actually came to serve me and that was for my drinks order. Not on my list of recommendations

Food is seriously disappointing, I won't be back. Smoked salmon was a pale orange, salad arrived missing half the components, the chicken was to dry to eat and the pizza came with a cheap and nasty tomato base. Yuck!

I hasn't been to The Dros for ages and then they had that amazing R20 birthday special. They had run out of burgers but they served us rib burgers.

NEVER FAILS TO SATISFY! This is my favourite Dros of them all!! I have been going to this one for the last 5 years, and the food, staff, people, EVERYTHING just gets better. Its so conveniently located, close to all major cities, and to the majors highways. Very highly recommended!

Went for a midweek drink, the service was good and the appetizer I had matched. It is what you want to expect from a steak house and I had a pleasant time.

I hooked up with my main man Tayo to catch up and just chill like friends do. I decided to pursue my queat for the best burgers in Jozi and we thought lets try The Dros. The ambiance was nice, classy with the wooden earthy tones. The service was nothing spectacular. You can see that the waitress was uninspiring and she was more eager to chat with her friends outside than concentrate on her client skills. I asked her about the specials and she was flabber gasted, cpuldnt confirm if the saucy burger was a Friday special or a constant special or if the burger rhat came with fries and fried onions could be changed for salad.. she did know that you can swop it for the 'vege of the day' which is the 'vege of the every day' being an uninspiring creamed spinach and guess what.. yes pumpkin..... she titled off to find out if I can have salad. She arrived and confirmed rhat i can have salad leaves tomato and cucumber... alas i can have my salad with my burger.<br/>My friend, the bloody skinny balinki, went for a chicken cheese burger with fries and fried onions.. <br/>Our orders arrived, looked ok.. nothing fantastic... its a burger with loads of their basting sauce and cheese and garnishing... I took a bite of the burger.. it was ok.. Nothing spectacular. I decided to try the burger on its on.. man the basting is salty and over powering but balances out when u have it with the bread. I am cutting down on carbs so I have the bottom part of the bread and the burger patty and garnishing.. well lets say the burger joint across the road from here is so much better.. my friend enjoyed his burger..he said it was goooood after he drowned his fries woth chilli sauce (and I laughed to tears) as the chilli sauce is hoooot!<br/>This joint is ok.. nothing inspiring, nothing earth shattering and that is because of the average service and the average food.<br/><br/>

I went with work colleagues for lunch. I had the bacon and cheese burger and it was decent. The chips were really yummy! The restaurant was very empty... so the vibe wasn't great. And the service was very slow too especially considering there were so few customers. <br/>

We visit here regularly. Great place to watch the rugby. Friendly staff and managers. Great cold beer. The menu is comprehensive and is good value for money. Enjoy !!!

We decided to try this Dros on a Saturday. The place was pretty quiet and we received good service. This is a good spot to go to on a lazy weekend, just to enjoy a cold beer and a good steakThe food was average to good. The trinchado starter was a little sour and a lot was left over as it wasnt enjoyable. The steaks were really good and cooked to our specifications.

Ordered the eisbein, frozen at the bone with chewy crackling, like the sole on the foot of ur sweet 90 year old grany, violet, the excessive barbecue sauce that it was covered in did not manage to mask the frozen flavor but instead made it taste even cheaper. Management was kind enough to take it off the bill though

This Dros is on a very busy main road and so is very busy on the weekend and week nights, especially when a big game is on. This is a great Dros to go watch sport at as they have TV's everywhere. Its also very dark inside which creates a very traditional pub feel to the place. Its a very big one too with lots of nooks and places to sit. They do all the usual beers and they have a pretty big menu. Majority of the dishes are nice and greasy and its very much pub style food. Service is good here too.
