The venue is situated by the mall’s exterior so the outdoor breeze on a summer’s day is delightful. I ordered some water to clear the pallet and have to admit, the San Diamante water they give you makes you feel special, it goes down different. We ordered pork ribs which were expertly done and thoroughly enjoyed. The fish was well done and feeling. All meals came with a side of either mash, chips, rice or veggies. Now, as for their signature meals, the steaks. The rib-eye and T-bone steaks were both tender, juicy and absolutely loaded with flavor. Ordered both steaks medium to rare and amount of fat was at a minimal. Both came on hot skillet plates so heat was constantly radiating through the meat hence steaks were more savory, and we devoured everything. The side pepper sauce was also exquisite and added more flavor to an already flavorful bovine. The staff was good and highly vigilant, and, described the menu eloquently. By the way, the ablution facilities were clean, which is something most some restaurants overlook and take for granted. The menu prices were fair and affordable hence I will give the establishment an overall rating of 8.5 out of 10. All in all, I enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy a good steak.

First time visiting the Cresta franchise. Staff making you feel welcome and they are very attentive and knows the menu. The food is amazing, tasty and the portions are enormous. Restaurant was very busy, but not lacking in service. Will definitely be back🍷🍷🍷well done to management and staff

The food is fantastic!! The portions are great. The atmosphere is great. The only thing is that when we went the service was a bit slow but it got better. The waiters are very friendly. For the quality food the price is reasonable.

I tend to come here when it's super busy but at least this time, we pre-booked a table (highly recommended for evening dining). Service from Naledi was great. Food is super yummy. Their beef ribs are the best I've had in a long time and that BBQ basting, speechless. The atmosphere was buzzing. It was a busy night.

I absolutely loved it here. The waiter was extremely friendly and we'll informed of the menu and gave us good and appreciated advice on dishes. The fact that the restaurant trains their staff on the different cuts of steak is amazing as well as their apparent knowledge of wine and which dishes complement which bottles. The atmosphere is great and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who asks.

The menue has been reduced to take into consideration COVID-19 protocols, hygiene cutlery wraps, all staff keep their masks on. This has not stopped them serving succulent tastey and friendly food and service.

We had dinner at tnt last night. Our first time. It was amazing! The food was exceptional and was ready a lot quicker than I was expecting. Their service was superb too. Our waiter was a black gentleman and I regret not asking his name (he did mention but I forgot) and he was so professional and friendly. The other gentleman that did the meat slicing deserves the same praise. Thank you very very much!

Excellent service and a warm environment. I still absolutely love the chicken livers. The bread tasted different but in a good way. Portion was big and the food very tasty!

Excellent restaurant. We stopped here for some dinner after shopping and we were very surprised at what a fancy and well managed place this is. The waiters are very professional and friendly, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is fantastic. We got a lovely table by the fire place which made it very cosy. They also live up to the name of a steakhouse as the food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back!

Loved the experience here, with a table near the fireplace. The meat cuts are absolutely amazing and sizzle in your plate while cut at your table too. We were also given complimentary 'milktart shots' which I'm sure had an egg-nog base. Brilliant service from Keith and he was very attentive on our date.

Deserts tasting and Turn n Tender were the choice my fiance and I had in mind. Not everyone can please the high standards set for her favourite desserts (Cremébrulé) and turns out Turn n Tender failed at that bench mark too. Their alcohol Deserts are not the best but they still get all the stars due to everything else. ✅Amazing service. ✅Amazing vibe. ✅Clean resturant. ✅✅Attentive Manager*** This one is my favourite, nothing makes me enjoy my experience than a manager that is on point. After a wonderful time trying out the other deserts we had to leave, accompanied by very smooth and strong (How it should be) complimentary shot and the taste of that also just added alot more to the already excellent experience. My next visit will be soon, I'll be coming by for a great meal :)

Except for waiting for like an hour for our food, I really loved their biltong and the cocktail. The steak was not well done the way I wanted but I enjoyed it hahaha great staff as well, great food. I guess next time the steak will be more softer.

Me and my family have been there 4 times since opening and have had excellent service and food every time. My Wife and I Celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary there on Monday. Once again the food and Service was Awesome. I did not tell them about our anniversary until the bill came and the waiter (Joe) still went out of his way to treat us with something special before we left. Even though we had already finished paying. Turn 'n Tender - You guys are Awesome. ������

So it’s tradition in our family for JP to have a Guinness for Lala’s birthday since it’s also St Paddy’s Day. Her choice of restaurant tonight was Turn ‘n Tender Cresta where we were told they don’t serve Guinness. Nevertheless after much disappointment both from dad and Lala a normal beer was ordered. About 10 minutes later Nimrod the manager and Keith our amazing waiter arrived with a Guinness. He had gone out of his way to source and buy not one but two from somewhere else! As he arrived at the table with the beer Lala screams out “he got a Guinness now it’s my birthday!” Well done to Turn‘nTenderCresta you really made the meal an awesome experience! Thank you...

Tonight was my third time and all 3 times got served with cold vegetables an tonight found a hair in my sauce!! I dont like to be made out to be an idiot an get told the hair I found is "fiber" from the mushrooms. I wont be going back

When you first opened.... service was awesome and steak was of really good quality... tonight my jaw is tired as chips were tough...??? How i have no idea??? Steak was tough and grisly and after ordering medium well... it was pink and bloody... lucky for me my husband got his served on a skillet so put mine on to cook a bit more... the sauce... blue cheese was plastic tasting and we were literally there for an hour after thinking we were going for a " date" night , but instead... R600 wasted on crap service and bad food. Not likely to be returning any time soon!.......so to add on.... my complaint has been addressed by Felix in a very professional way.... rhank you... everyone/ place deserves a second chance... i will reserve changing stars for when i visit again!

Iv been to this branch a couple of times.... Iv had some good and some bad times but overall it's been good... We often have their burger special that's always a winner... I tried their new fish on the menu I don't think it was the greatest but their meat is always a win

My partner and I came here for a meal before we went to catch a movie . <br/><br/>It was quite empty and we initially opted for an outdoors table but later moved indoors to a booth . The outdoor tables overlook the parking lot and there’s too much going on outside it was a bit distracting for me . <br/>My partner wanted to smoke and I don’t think the place caters for smokers because there was a no smoking sign in the outdoor area and I doubt you could smoke inside so a heads up for the smokers .<br/>Our waiter was super friendly and gave us great service . <br/><br/>The decor and atmosphere of the place have a very vintage feel . I really liked the lights that are hanging from the ceiling they create a soft mood and the place doesn’t feel too much like a diner . To eat we both ordered the ribs and calamari combo . But I had the tubed calamari and my partner the squid heads . The ribs were so juicy and succulent . And the calamari was great ,I absolutely enjoyed the lemon and butter sauce it was swimming in . <br/>The food was really good but it took a while to cool down . Really wish more restaurants would invest in cooling plates.<br/><br/>They also give you these purple bibs which are super cute . And they came in handy because my partner was wearing a white shirt and is quite a messy eater . <br/><br/>This is a great spot and would definitely recommend it .

Wow, what an amazing dining experience! My husband and I went to Turn 'n Tender for a meal to ourselves last Friday night. I booked a table in advance and received an SMS to confirm my booking.<br/><br/>We were seated and attended to quickly, our drinks arrived promptly and we were given just enough time to decide on our meal. The waitress was very professional and took our order with a smile.<br/><br/>Then the food arrived - all I can say is "Wow!". Our meal was truly spectacular and reasonably priced for the large portions. I had the calamari and steak combo, and my only complaint is that the calamari was a bit cold.<br/><br/>The restaurant was fairly dimly lit, but this added to the great ambiance - it was quite a romantic setting and the general chatter was enough to indicate that everyone was having a good time.

Been there twice before... Great service and good food. Took our kids there tonight and was charged R100 for a kiddies meal with 4 very small riblets and very crispy chips that my kids could not eat. Feel the kiddies meal is overpriced for what you get. Guess we won't be going back.

Went for dinner. Although all other turn and tenders serve local beer on tap, the cresta branch does not. After waiting a considerable time for drinks we were then told that they had run out of all steaks except 200g sirloin. A steakhouse without steaks on a weekend is a joke and especially if you are only notified of this after ordering drinks. Hope this is not the famous brands influence...

The food is great, recommendations from me would me the garlic bread and squid heads for starters. They make very good steak and the ribs are really good. The ambiance is really good. Service can be good sometimes and not so good at other times. But generally good. Prices have gone up but I still do think it's worth it.

My husband and I arrived on time for our reservation and as it was busy we were placed at the first table available which was terrible. It was the temperature of the surface of the sun and surrounded by 3 loud families and we could not hear each other speak. We asked to be moved to no avail. When our mains came after a pleasant starter and watered down, over priced cocktails, the meat was BLUE. We had ordered medium rare and got fresh grazing cow instead. Everyone was suitably apologetic and they took our plates back I got quite excited when they brought me new sauce thinking our order will be done soon - but to no avail. My "Madagascan peppercorn" sauce (I have yet to find a peppercorn) and "basting" was left on the table to cool down while the refire took 5 years - (we enquired several times and was told "they want to get it right" ????) leaving us with nothing to snack on but overly oily onion rings. By the time the food came my starch order was wrong and the inside of the meat (now medium rare) was ice cold. By that time we were tired of excuses. The owner came to see us and after explaining our situation for the umpteenth time we only paid for our drinks and starters...As a steakhouse I would expect them to know their meat!? However I cannot fault them on their service - the only reason they 2 not 1. I made it very clear that we will NOT be back and consequently got 3 phone calls offering me vouchers as compensation...erm... appreciated but no thanks. I have already lost 3 hours of my life due the incompetence of their kitchen.

Our 3rd visit. A dramatic improvement. Our fillet steak and sauces were top notch. The best steak meal I have had in a very long time and up there with the best. Chips were just right as well. I'm struggling to find anything to criticize, really. If the manager had thrown out the usual sad family sitting around reading their un-smartphones, there had been a little music and a slight bit more attention from our waiter,  I would have awarded them a solid 5. For a steakhouse in a mall and considering the improvements in food and service, 4.6 would be a more accurate rating from me. Great rum on a cold night.

Really great to go to a good restaurant at Cresta again. It’s also great to see a busy restaurant in the centre so make sure you book over a weekend. <br/><br/>Their grapefruit mojito is amazing! Well worth ordering. <br/><br/>Ribs are good but because they’re cut before finished cooking and then basted, I found the basting very overpowering. It is quite handy that it’s precut though. <br/><br/>My hubby enjoyed his sirloin. <br/><br/>All in all a great meal!

I am normally a pro at these things and prefer to make a reservation but I don't know why I forgot. We arrived to a very packed restaurant but the wait wasn't that long plus they have a nice waiting area. Got a table after 15 minutes or so.<br/><br/>The food took a while to arrive, understandable.<br/>Portions are sufficient. Delicious.<br/><br/>Our waitress (forgot her name) was very efficient and friendly.

We made a booking one night they were packed out table wasnt ready yet . They gave us champagne and shooters on the house . Our food comes perfect everytime. The T bone is a must try and i always love my Filet, their burgers are my BEST im OBSESSED. <br/>You can't go wrong.

What an absolute treat! We know one of the owners Mark from a previous restaurant and he definitely runs a tight ship! We where warmly welcomed at the door and taken to our seats (they even made up a special table so my family could sit comfortably under the aircon - Was quite a scorching day), we -as were other tables- offered complementary milk tart shots (yummy)! The staff and management where completely on point for the duration of our visit. They have a fantastic wine selection and OMG the food!!! The food was at minimum a full 10/10! The star of the day had to be the beef ribs! Basted and cooked to absolute perfection! Followed closely by the rib-eye steak (Brian's bowl over) and the Entrecote! The two 'Rump - No fat's where also amazing! They have the option to have half/half of sides with your dish which where more than generous in portion. We left happy and very full! What an awesome lunch!

The new Turn 'n Tender at Cresta is definitely not a let down to the rest of the franchise! The steaks are fantastic! Our waiter came to show us the chef's cuts on a massive meat board, which was a nice touch. We also had the marrow bone starter, which came with ciabatta bread and a delicious broth. My GnT was top notch as well. I'll definitely be back!

My family of 4 went in the first week of opening on a warm windy summer night. The place had a good vibe and furnishing looked great. Like the fact that you don’t have to go into the mall to get to this restaurant. Had a tasty soft fillet (must be the basting, I know fillet does not have that much flavour) good wine and friendly service although restaurant was packed. We will be back.

The expectations are high because of the name..<br/>The interior was warm and inviting and has been made to look like it's been here for ages. Got greeted with smiles all round and our waiter got our drinks to us quite quickly considering how busy the place was.<br/>We only had a point rump and a butternut soup but both were really tasty.<br/>Definitely will be back.

After many months of eager anticipation Tun n Tender Cresta opened on Wednesday 29th November and what an opening. The venue is superb, with a massive inside section and a very pleasant outside patio, service is very good and the food from the standard TnT menu superb. My friend and I shared an excellent steak tartare perfectly prepared and presented. This was followed by a tender, juicy 800g sirloin (also to share), again cooked exactly as ordered and accompanied by a mountain of genuine hand cut chips suitably crispy as requested. To finish off, two Irish Coffees. The usual wine list has a wide selection and prices are reasonable.<br/>Being Cresta, there is ample parking.<br/>I enjoyed the experience so much that I have already returned twice and will be one of the regulars.<br/>Despite being a great steakhouse, there are also several vegetarian options and the salads are great too.

New addition to Cresta Shopping Centre to fill gap left by Dros and Cape Town Fish Market.<br/>WARNING- not a place for vegetarians or vegans- you salad lovers stay clear.<br/>Here you order meat by the skillet or plate full and what a selection of cuts of meat- ribeye on the bone, point rump on the bone, huge T-bones and succulent and juicy fillet.<br/>Here you will get unfriended on fb or blocked on whatsapp if you order your meat medium.<br/>Definitely worth a visit.
