Review Mcdonald's Strijdom Park - Randburg

I always enjoy the food from this branch. I usually order via the app and the chicken is always tasty. I dined in for the first time today and the chicken meal was lovely. Lizzy took our order and her service was lovely and she was very friendly. Patience and Thando (I think that was her name) were also very friendly checking up on whether we needed anything. All three ladies had a smile on their faces and as a customer this is most welcoming. Even though they were busy with drive thru orders and online orders, the manager checked up on each customer that was dining in and even she had a friendly smile when doing so.

I really like the atmosphere. The food is awesome 👌 The parking on a busy night is a bit of a squeeze

Pretty good place to sit and dine, never too packed and very friendly staff. I only downside I would say is they tend to run out of stock, on certain menu items but they go out of the way to make you not feel it.

100% on everything . Absolutely love the stuff, they are friendly and you get tour food on time. I've never had a bad influence here. I Most definitely reccomend it for anyone wanting to have a date eat and work ,drink or even celebrate something with family its the perfect place for that. Also the food is always amazing.

Went through the drive through and we waited a long time, I didn't like that but the food was great.

The set-up is purely drive thru, no walk ins at all so it can be packed especially during load shedding but apart from that, the food is always great!!

My family and I normally gets excellent service from this restaurant from hospitality and delicious food perspective hence a rating of 4, short of 5 star for the following reason: This time around our order was spoiled by the chicken that smelled and tasted so stale like it was prepared 2 days ago. Mind you we went all out to order two chickens based on the great customer service experience that we normally get from this outlet. I implore you to fix this as a matter of urgency before it tarnishes your good reputation.

Very great. One of the bigger branches I've seen. Great place and I love how you can basically see into the entire kitchen

The food is good. Seating is plenty and comfortable. Parking area is tight but you can always manage to find a spot

Tables where dirty and had to ask for a cloth to clean. The employees didn't feel any shame to watch a customer clean the table and couldn't care to watch. Immediately after cleaning table, another customer request I clean his table, which I advised him I do not work there. And handed him the cloth, which he proceeded and cleaned his table himself. It was just a moment of sadness and regret.

The worst mcdonalds ive ever been to. The service was atricious. The food was hard and cold - i live 2 robots away, and I had to microwave the food. The chips were literally dripping with oil, if I held the chip up, it dripped with oil.

Self-help screen is user-friendly and easy to use. Service is quick and the employees are friendly. Great atmosphere for the kids as well with the jungle gym.

If you're looking for fast, cheap food then McDonalds it is. We ordered the Grand Spicy Chicken meal and Chicken McNuggets with the jalapeno dipping sauce. Both were good and prepared well. The restaurant is clean and neat and the service is quick. McDonalds announced a limited edition Milo McFlurry recently and this branch didn't know anything about it!

Nov 27 dinner: Visited this outlet, as there is a play area at this outlet. Went with my daughter at around 7.30 pm. It was dark at the play area but on asking, were informed that one can play there. While, it was a good time spent by my daughter, but I wasnt expecting her hands to be so dirty. It seemed that the play area wasn't cleaned for some time. Food - that is burgers and fries were standard stuff. So, no complains there.

I have been put off McDonald's for the rest of my life. All I wanted was a McChicken meal. And all I got was cold chips and an average burger. Adding to the fact that the prices you pay are just ludicrous now

I ordered a Boerie Burger as it looked delicious on the board outside. Only to find the most disappointing meal in my life. Really ? That's it? Two plain pattys with no lettuce, pickles? NADA! Never again!!!

This Mcd's has a brilliant spot. For those working in randburg that take malibongwe towards to the N1 home, once you finally get up that hill rd, you see that sign, and you immediately think food. Well at least that was me, could sneak in get something to drink (Large soda with lotsa ice) and some nice fresh chips and a cheeseburger for the long haul home.Never had bad food from this branch, and the service was always quick.

This MacDonald's is well situated, and my experience from their service is good.  It is the ideal restaurant for a quick burger, or ice cream in the hot summer days.

McDonald's is a must have for any quick on the go meal or for those nights you don't feel like cooking and having a good burger and fries. Absolute favourite is a Bigmac! Love the ferndale outlet!

Nothing beats some nuggets and fries when the powers out and its been a hard day...plus its super affordable...and tjat jalepeno dipping sauce is the absolute best

As like all McDonald's the standard is the same and so is the taste. The service is average and the line is always long. Also they don't serve milkshakes after 11 or 12 at night which I have yet to get a reason for.

(1 May 2015)<br/>I loooove McDonalds!!!  Their coffee is always fresh and I don't care what you say about their food ...  it is good!<br/><br/>Wanting to order something different for breakfast, I chose the Maple Flavored Oats for R12.  Wow.  This is a filling little breakfast and I enjoyed every bite.<br/><br/>(April 2015)<br/>We've been reading most of Lee Child's books with Jack Reacher in it.  One of the books, Reacher regularly stopped in at a McDonalds, ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 2 apple pies and lots of coffee.<br/><br/>I've been craving a McDonalds Apple Pie.  And then one morning I was early for gym, so I stopped in at McDonalds around 8h45.  Ordered an Apple Pie.  They told me it will take 6 minutes.  OH MY WORD!  For R10, this Apple Pie is amazing.  It has this amazing crisp outside and is filled with cinnamon apple cubes.  It was hot, hot, so I only took a few bites.  An hour later, I took the Apple Pie out of its carton package and the outside was still crispy!  I ate most of the Apple Pie and stuck it in the fridge for later ....  that evening the outside was still crispy and the inside still yummy!!!!<br/><br/>What a great way to start a day ... with a freshly made Apple Pie.  Thanks Jack Reacher.

I've only had mcFlurry's and coffee at this outlet and so far it was pretty standard. Friendly and a bit more accurate service than the other outlets. Not much to complain about. It's fast and conveniently located. Enough said.

Mac D, I know why not go to Rocomama's,well it was still closed. S of Mac's it was had a couple of sausage mac muffins...... Why I don't know what a pile of doo doo won't go back. Staff where polite and quick. Just the food.

On the days I feel like deviating from my rather stringent eating routine, I love a bit of a Mc Donalds cheat from the Mc Donalds in Appleton's Village. The service is great, I have never been asked to wait in a bay for my food unlike other Mc Donalds when I go through the drive through. For some reason, they always have the best chips, its never rubbery and you never feel as though you are eating yesterdays chips that have been refried.
