If perfection had to be a word... Definitely "Aureos. " ... Even after reading the "bad" reviews, we felt we had to give you a fair try and come experience your atmosphere and food for ourselves!! And what a pleasure!! Constructive criticism feedback only; Long Island cocktail, serve in correct cocktail glass and dress the cocktail up... We eat and drink by eye! I did expect a "real" Portuguese bun for my prego.. after all this is a Portuguese restaurant... small things do matter.. We sat "outside" covered area... I wasn't aware this was smoking .. for after all it has a "roof," so shouldn't be smoking. Nevertheless, we moved inside.. Peri-Peri baby chicken, was sure one for the books! Cooked to perfection and served with enough sauce was sure a pleasure. Our waiter (new gent just joined) was soo welcoming and friendly. Thank you for your excellent service! Definitely will be returning to try some more authentic Portuguese food! Was such a spoil!

Best prawns I’ve had in Johannesburg. Reasonably priced cocktails. Lovely waiters. Decor a bit dated but great food

The BEST authentic Portuguese food I have had in a long time. From the super fresh oysters to the delectable peri peri chicken my friend and I were left speechless and so full after our meals. Will definitely come back to this little gem 💎

This place is now Muito Bom and the food and experience is absolutely the bomb...its so amazing

Had a awesome meal. The chicken livers were really well made .slightly small serving The prawn special was delicious. Really large prawns for Queens. Chips however were under cooked All and all a good experience

Food is 10/10. Delicious, authentic Portuguese food. Trinchado was amazing. Beef prego was great and the chicken was the best I have had in a long time! Will be back soon

This is a little gem. I was in the shopping centre to see a doctor and afterwards decided to pop into this little restaurant i found between Fratellis and Asia Point. I had the Espetada and my wife who joined me has the Sole. This was a surprise. I didnt expect much, the restaurant was empty but this was as good a portuguese meal as any i had in my visit to Portugal in 2019. The meat was tender and juicy and my wife reported that her sole was superb. We finished off with the chocolate mousse which was also fantastic. This restaurant deserves more support (not too much i need to get in without booking😁). Unreservedly recommended.

A little local gem! We've never had a bad meal here. Covid protocols are in place. Food comes out hot, fresh and delicious. Just the fact that they're able to cook a steak to how you want it is a plus in my books (most places are usually over or under). And those round chips! I dream of them.

Authentic and tasty food in a well styled Portuguese environment. A fabulous selection of interesting wines. Warm attentive service. A good discovery and worthy successor, i’ll be back.
