Quaint, peaceful and all round chilled Ocean Basket. I came in on a Wednesday and it was super quiet. Waiters were friendly and food arrived rather fast
A lovely fresh seafood lunch. A pity that more people don't frequent the Ocean Basket, the restaurant was quiet and quite empty. The service was excellent and the meals were well prepared.
I had a platter for 1. I was impressed. From the moment I walked in, the friendly host seated us promptly. The atmosphere was warm. The food was delicious and amazing!
I usually love Ocean Basket but it surprises me that a big restaurant like this cannot make a plan when there is loadshedding. They closed because loadshedding commenced

Greek dancing on a Friday night... that was fun. We've eaten here many times and were pleasantly surprised to turn up on the night they offered Greek dancing. What a treat! Hope this can become a regular occurrence.

We often find Ocean Basket's food offering to be rather mediocre and overcooked. But not yesterday when we went there for lunch. It was during loadshedding, but that did not prevent them from serving freshly prepared and very delicious food. We tried the grilled sea bream with a side of tempura zuc
It was peaceful and relaxing. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The manager came to check on us twice. It was a great experience.

I’m gonna give 5 stars because it’s not the overall service I’m after. It’s the famous ocean basket lemon butter sauce … which I think is a problem everywhere. What happened? Did the recipe change? It used to be the reason I’d eat at ocean basket. It was so good the recipe is still freely available
