Review Del Forno Fairlands - Randburg

After finding out about the Traditional Pasta special on a Tuesday, me and my wife and I decided to give them a try! The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We will most likely see them again in the future!

A firm favourite neighbourhood restaurant… The personal touch, care & passion for good food is evident every visit! We love Date Nights here!!

You really do give a personal touch and go out of your way to provide exceptional service and great food, even when things go a little wrong, as they sometimes do. Thank you for personally phoning to correct the mix up. There are quite a few restaurants to choose from in our area and you just made me never have to choose again! ;)

Thank you Delforno - Fairlands, for going the extra mile for my daughter's Birthday 🎊 The decorations where lovely🎈 The warm welcome we received made us feel special, the Sherry warmed us up & we enjoyed a delicious meal 🍾🥂 Even our grandson was made a fuss of 😁👍 The 'feel good' and personal touch, went a long way! I highly recommend them! We will definitely be eating there more often 🎊

Del Fornos Fairlands does its best to uphold its revamped image as a "restaurant"! The two men who are behind the counter (I assume the owners) are always pretty chirpy with the most interesting expressions, which I think is necessary in order to become a household name in a community like Fairlands. The gin cocktails were spectacular and the food delivered on exactly what it promised from a flavor profile perspective...with very pretty presentation! The waiters were friendly enough and the ambience was just right making it the perfect local spot to feel fancy while still slipping into an easy sense of relaxation.

Love Del Forno Fairland sit down menu and they always go out of their way for you! Good service! Oh and new additions to the menu.

Back in 2023 for lunch. Food excellent. Services excellent. Atmosphere has gone down. Music choice average. Couple arrives and want to see aus tennis open. Suddenly we all have to listen to sports. No music just tennis

The deep fried burger is disgusting 🤢. Pizzas are great. I think stick to pizza's

Such amazing food and service. We were worried when ownership changed last year but Annemarie and Chris are just amazing. I only wish great things for this branch. We have a closer branch to home but drive the extra distance to Fairlands.

We popped out for take-aways and ended up sitting down because of the lovely vibe in the restaurant. The menu has a great variety (burgers, salads, chicken, steak as well as pizza and pasta). Our waiter was excellent, the food was great, we had a mediterranean salad and a maserati pizza, delicious and value for money!

Excellent, value for money little family restaurant. Very friendly service, nice little wine list at reasonable prices and really tasty food. The pizza alla pappa was one of the best pizzas I have had in Northcliff and the Pollo del Forno was delicious. I'll be back.<br/><br/>Third visit and I'm more impressed than before. Portuguese steak done to perfection and really good quality, tender meat for the price, unlike many restaurants nearby.

Lovely environment, nicest Italian restaurant I've been too. Friendly staff. Value for money. I can't think of other ways to sum this amazing restaurant up, truly one of my go-to places.

I shall not be returning to this particular Del Forno's. Experience ruined by bad service. My order was clearly overlooked by the guys making the pizza, I could hear and see who I assume can only be a Manager trying to hurry his guys along and then the lady in front was going to offer some lame excuse about it not being about the wait... A happy client is one that doesn't get made to look like a fool. And the pizza, not that great guys. Probably because it was a rushed job when the realisation kicked in. Definitely disappointed.

The chicken mayo pizza was good . Decent amount of chicken , the nachos pizza is cool , the salsa sauce give it the flavour it needs . Quite a filling pizza with all the toppings . The service was good .

I popped into this particular Pizza Del Forno a couple of weeks ago. It was a Monday evening after a long weekend and we were about the only people in the restaurant. Our waiter was friendly and the service was pretty quick. <br/><br/>It was a chilly evening so I decided to order a cappuccino. The cappuccino was just the right temperature and really delicious. To eat, my boyfriend and I decided to share the creamy spinach pasta. The pasta was great apart from the fact that I could taste the grit from the spinach which was a slight let-down.<br/><br/>Like most of the other new outlets, this Pizza Del Forno offers a warm and relaxing ambience with a lovely interior. I will be back if I'm in the area.

The service was pathetic we ordered and were told a maximum of 30 minutes preparation time. Customers that ordered after us were all served before us, and we only received our order after an hour.

Positioning is everything. I am not a big fan of pizza but some bright spark put this outlet right next to my favourite sushi spot.. which is flanked by a liquor store which stocks my favourite sav blanc #goodthingscomeinthree<br/><br/>I thoroughly enjoyed the two pizza choices we took home for the kids; crispy bases and lots of topping. We will be coming back to do the proper dinner thing so this review will be updated accordingly...<br/><br/>**update<br/>This has become our local pizza place..every pizza and pasta we have tasted has been superb. I have a bizarre rating system for pizza which factors in depth of the cheese, countable toppings and carbon free edges. These pizzas pass the grade!

Our first night in Johannesburg after a long flight from India. We stepped out of our service apartments to buy some grocery and saw this place was open. Since we were hungry as well there was jet lag, we decided to go in. It seemed that they were in a hurry to close and asked us to place our orders quickly - that was even before they handed over menus to us. We ordered for the Vegeterian pizza and Vegeterian Supreme pizza. Though they seemed to be in a hurry to close down for the night, the pizzas took some time to come. Generally, wherever i have eaten pizzas in the world, one generally gets the oregano/ chiili flakes/ italian seasonings served. Here, we had to ask for the same. However, the pizzas were nicely done. The crust was the normal one but wasn't chewy - it was quite crisp. A thin crust option would have been good.

Pizza Del Forno is walking distance from my house, so we often get take-aways or head down their for a beer and some pizza.<br/><br/>As a franchise, i think that Del Forno is highly underrated, as their pizzas are great and service is always on par.<br/><br/>next time you planning on ordering take out pizza, i urge you to order from Del forno, you wont regret it!

I've been enjoying Del Forna pizzas since the day the first one opened and I still enjoy them today. <br/>I've never had a bad experience and the Nortchcliff branch is no different. <br/>A little outside smoking area means that one can enjoy a beer and pizza and watch the traffic build up. <br/>Take aways are fast and delivery is free. <br/>Best Pizza in Nortchcliff.
