WHAT an AMAZING, quaint little piece of heaven. My hubby and I have been frequenting this place for a few years now, and it NEVER lets us down. From the amazing wine list to menu selection, quality and service. We are always happy when we leave. Their Prawn Gamberi is my FAVOURITE :D You must give them a try. <3

I was pleasantly suprised. Ive always wanted to try it but never got around to going there until today. The food is extremely delicious, best pizza in town by far. The owner is genuine and welcoming. I am so glad I found this place.

Best pizza pasta ! So inexpensive and you get really good tasty food . They have a wonderful menu selection. Huge generous portions for what your paying. Always such wonderful service. A wonderful family owned restaurant. oh and our favorite takeaway.

We had our year end function there. A set menu was mailed to us and everyone placed their meal orders a day before, When we got there we had the best service from the staff and we could just focus on our function. All drinks arrived withing a minute or two, and the food was really delicious. We will definately be going there again. Well done.

Great fantastic Italiano cuisine. All the dishes I have tried have been awesome and Luigi runs a good restaurant . Have visited quite a few times now and the service and quality of food is always awesome. Really very generous portions served every time.

Luigi's has been one of my family's favourite restaurants for years. We regularly order pizzas (wood oven, thin crispy base) and we've always been very happy. We also enjoy their pasta dishes and I love their gluten free options. The owner is often there in person. The staff are well trained, friendly and knowledgeable and ordering over the phone for take-aways is hassle-free.

Lunch today<br/>Blue cheese salad good but needs yoghurt dressing too.<br/>Pizza with anchovies absolutely brilliant. Very thin base with lots of topping!!<br/>Even ate my people box which I never do. <br/>Washed down in the heat with Sangria. Enjoyed it Thank you.<br/><br/>

We moved a few years ago so we haven't been back in a while after weekly visits. What a pleasure it was to see the place as good and friendly as always and revamped to boot!<br/><br/>Alec is still a hands on owner and the service and vibe is still super awesome! Will definitely drive out of our way soon to be back. The Pasta Gambieri is exceptional, a real taste of Italy! And they make an excellent Calzone!<br/><br/>"Grazie! Super deliziosa!"

Iā€™m actually rating them a 2.5 as 2 is too low and 3 too high but no option for a 2.5.Ā  The look and feel of this branch is a whole lot better than the Olivedale one. I just donā€™t find it cosy though.Ā  I really do think they should invest in better furniture.Ā  The metal furniture just does not add anything to their ambience, in fact I think it takes away from it. As for the food, I just find their flavours mediocre.Ā  Their food lacks certain freshness.Ā  I can say that my pasta has never been overcooked which is a good thing.Ā  I also find their menu slightly on the boring side and the presentation mostly old fashioned.Ā  Half of their starter options are Focaccia and the desert menu is also lacking. They also serve ice cream with their Italian kisses?Ā  Why service ice cream with ice cream?Ā  Their cheesecake portion is very big and does not taste ā€˜home madeā€™ as the menu suggest and the biscuit base is very soggy perhaps because of the cherries.Ā  Maybe put the cherries on top.Ā  Their pasta portions are huge even if you take the ā€˜smallerā€™ portions.Ā  The service is good and the waiters are very friendly and seem to have been working there for a very long time so that is also good.Ā  I also find their prices a tad on the high side.

We ordered take aways. The pizza is packed with toppings and I love the fact that they distinguish between gluten free and banting pizza bases. The gluten free base is thin and crispy.

February 2018<br/>Pizza time ... but first we decided to not order the Avo Halloumi salad - but the starter of Halloumi, served with a sweet chilli sauce.Ā  OH MY GOODNESS!Ā  The Halloumi is once again TO DIE FOR!!!!!!Ā  <br/><br/>The Mozzarella Focaccia with garlic is just amazing!!!Ā  That crust ... that crust is just perfect!!!!!<br/><br/>Service is always great and weather permitted, we sit on the patio. <br/><br/>December 2017<br/>We haven't been to Luigi's Boskruin for years!Ā  Yesterday we popped in there and what a treat!Ā  Service was good and the food!!!<br/><br/>Haloumi Avo salad ... my goodness, that must have been the MOST DELICIOUS Halloumi we've ever tasted!!!!Ā  It was crispy outside and soft inside ... not rubbery at all!<br/><br/>Their take on a Mexican pizza is called 'Luigi's special' - wow!Ā  The crust is almost like a biscuit crust ... thin and crispy all the way through.Ā  Even though the toppings were generous, it didn't 'soggy' the crust.<br/><br/>Tiramisu - I can safely say PROBABLY THE BEST I've ever tasted!Ā  Why?Ā  Cause the sponge wasn't soaked through with liquid and soggy ...Ā  Just enough sweetness, enough coffee and enough cream.Ā  Sublime!!!!!<br/><br/>Cannot wait to try the rest of the menu.

We eat here once a week. The food is normally very good but you can see there is no owner around, staff talk amoungst themselves very loudly. Not interested in service. You have to wave at the Waitron for help. This is not the way to do business. Times are tough out there. Come on people wake up. You have a gem - but you going to lose it ...

I am a regular because of the staff like Timmothy. The pizza is great. However, the seafood pasta I've tried twice is terrible. It is made with a cheap retail marinara mix with an unimaginative "creamy" tomato sauce. For a hundred bucks for a seafood pasta, turn around and go to Pizza Vino in Christian de Wet/Witkoppen , 'I think". A hundred bucks buys you a pasta with generous portions of mussel and prawn. Very generous with a real cream sauce. Also, one night before I ordered a meal with pancetta, I asked to see the ingredients. It wasn't pancetta, it was diced bacon. Common owner, with the alternatives in the area best you shape up on the quality of your ingredients.

We had a relaxed Thursday evening on our date night at this lovely place , the mood was very nice , not too noisy , very homely environment and great service too! I really wanted to have the chicken fussili but had the funghi instead, will try the other one next time , the chicken was well seasoned and tender, I loved the mushroom and cream sauce which complimented the dish very well! We also had the tropicana pizza , I like the crispy base and generous ingredients. I recommend this place for a quiet chilled evening when u wanna have a great meal and conversationšŸ’ŖšŸ¾

We had takeaways only. Great pizzas made with great ingredients. The parma ham is to die for. Thin base pizza and delightful. The service was great. i will definitely be back!

I've tried all the Luigi's, this one is just my regular pizza joint.<br/><br/>My favourites are their Trovatore and Luigi's Special. I love that their gluten-free bases come in large and medium.<br/><br/>What sets them apart though is the warm nature of their staff...and their damn good food!<br/><br/>Definitely try them out if you're in the area.

We used to eat here quite ofter and the food was always amazing. We went back after a few months and were somewhat disappointed (tinned mushrooms on pizza is kinda gross, for one). The service is still good though. I'm hoping they just had an off day, but I'm not sure if we'll be back soon.

Awesome atmosphere and amazing staff, always great food and good service. I just have one problem - "Mr Luigi" still owes me two large pizzas cos Man United finished higher than Liverpool !!! Easiest bet in my life.

Luigi's is one of my favorite pizza restaurants. They have the best gluten free bases. The staff are always attentive and friendly, Markas needs a special mention as he goes out of his way to ensure that his patrons are well taken care of. More than once the kids have been delighted with a free desert. I must recommend the pizza verdure, the combination of toppings is just perfect.

Lovely restaurant in Boskruin - both takeaway and eating in is a great experience at Luigi's. Crispy bases, fresh, flavourful toppings and a friendly face from the waiter. The prices are really good too. A definite must-go for a relaxed evening

Well managed, excellent service and fantastic food. This branch of Luigi's has a great outside patio or inside seating options. The sangria is really good. Any pasta on the menu is tasty, but the Alfredo is particularly great.

Definitely one of the best chicken liver pizzas I have had in a long time. Authentic wood fire pizza with a relaxing atmosphere and good service. A craft beer on tap to wash it down is definitely another positive.

We went for Sunday lunch a few weeks ago. I ordered spaghetti bolognese, but I was extremely disappointed. It was quite tasteless, while I was expecting a rich tomato taste. Proudly announcing that it's an Italian restaurant and getting this, not good...

We visited Luigis for a quiet Sunday lunch while visiting with my gran. I wasn't expecting much as we were out in Boskruin but I mean these days you still expect a decent meal for your money. My brother and I both order the penne carbonara which was not a carbonara. You would think a purely Italian place would know how to make one. The penne arrived in a huge bowl all suck together with a mass dollop of sauce on top. Very average presentation. The sauce was not even classic carbonara sauce and the pancetta was mostly fat. Average. My gran ordered the Greek salad and all I can say is thank goodness she is against throwing against way food cos that salad looked awful. Mass chunks of cucumber and wilted lettuce. There were also maybe 3 chunks of feta. No more. And there were carrots pieces? Sorry but a Greek salad doesn't have carrot in it. The salads presentation was also terrible. I'm not sure if this place just makes up their own stuff but it's average and the family pics in the menu are also super creepy. Won't be going back thanks.

We ordered pizza takeaways from here. The tandoori chicken with feta, and mushrooms and a vegetarian with olives,artichokes, mushrooms and pepper.<br/><br/>I like that their pizza toppings combinations is unique and they aren't stingy. They also give you free garlic and chilli with your takeaway order. The pizzas were abit bland and pricey at R80 and R87 if you are looking for a takeaway. However the ingredients are of good quality. The pizzas are a little above average and will satisfy a pizza craving.

We get take-out often from here. Very friendly staff. Food is always delicious. I recommend the Alfredo (I get mine without ham) and the vegetarian pizza (they aren't shy with their toppings :) )

Luigi's is not going to win any decor awards, but the restaurant is clean and pleasant enough.<br/><br/>Many patrons opt for takeaways, but if you choose to eat there, expect your waiter to greet you with a smile.<br/><br/>Give the butternut ravioli a try, and their focaccia bread is very nice to have as a starter

Visited Luigi's a few weeks ago. We were disappointed at the lighting being quite dim. The atmosphere does not meet expectations, we would have enjoyed listening to some relaxing music. We ordered two large Pizzas, a Cacciatora (chicken and feta) and a Trovatore (sweet chicken and pineapple). The Pizzas were delicious although for the price, quite small. They have friendly staff, except for a few disappointments Luigi's is not entirely bad.
