We were pleasantly surprised with this pub/restaurant. The service was really friendly and the atmosphere relaxed and cozy. We decided to order fish and calamari having seen some good reviews on their fish. And I can honestly say that the quality was exceptional and the price really good. Will definitely visit a second time before our holiday time runs out.
If it was not for the fact that you over look a car park this Pub would get a 5 star, very friendly owner and waitress, good food and really reasonable pricing. Well worth a visit.π

Only reason loosing a star was the people next to us started smoking...realised they didnt keep to new laws but food and service were excellent.
What a pleasant experienced.
We just popped in for chips.ended up having drinks with the owner and a great chat to the tremendously friendly staff.
Btw if they say they have the best fish cakes in sa they really do!
The pub itself is smoky and small, but you can sit outside or in the restaurant. The onion rings, chips and battered fish is just unbelievable. In fact, now that we've had theirs, the hunt begins to find anything as delicious. Generous portions! Best onion rings and battered fish ever, and those chips... Super friendly service. Been going for more than 30 years, now I know why. Well done everyone!

Great little restaurant!! Lots of character and friendly service. Made it my pitstop whenever I go shopping in Ramsgate! Nice sitdown meals with an ice cold beer or something stronger if you wish. Clean neat and tidy ! Definitely worth a visit !
