Best crisp waffles ever, service was quick, and the variety and options are amazing. The location is perfect, there is a pathway that leads onto the beach where there is also a small flea market.

A firm favorite for good reason. Food is always great and service is friendly and efficient. Favorite waffles which have stayed true over the years are he chicken mayonnaise waffle , ham cheese and mushroom waffle. And the banoffee waffle.
WOW! What a place. The Waffle House is probably the best place to have waffles. You can put just about anything on your waffle: bobotie mince, lemon meringue, chocolate mousse or three kinds of cheeses with onion marmalade! My brother and I shared the Three Cheeses and Chocolate Mousse waffles. The Three Cheeses was very savory and rich, and the onion marmalade just gave it that hint of sweetness. The Chocolate Mousse Waffle was very tasty and sweet. We had it with a creamy scoop of ice cream. This place caters for all, with vegan and vegetarian options, a kid’s menu and egg free, gluten free, or lactose free waffles. Coffee’a good, there’s a nice busy atmosphere and subtle decor. Only thing is that there can be a long wait for a table when it’s busy and you can’t book because of their ‘first come first serve’ rule.
This is a must-try on the south coast - their waffles are to die for! I felt like something more savory, so I tried their cheese and tomato waffle, which did not disappoint. The portion was very generous and the waffle crispy and delicious. I also tried the hot Dutch apple waffle, which I would definitely get again for a sweet option. Great for large crowds and service was friendly and efficient.

The waffles are light and fluffy then crispy around the edges. I really enjoyed the savory and sweet options.
I’m just really disappointed that I didn’t see the specialty menu with all the “alternative” waffle types 😭. Oh well more reason to go back

Waffle House is an absolute must when you visit Ramsgate. It’s quaint and cute. Friendly and helpful waiters who are great brand ambassadors for the restaurant. The menu is relatively small and no variations on the menu are allowed. Food was fresh, well-prepared and tasty, however, nothing exceptional. Big ups for the perfect Belgian waffle - light and fluffy and perfectly golden. Enjoyed the experience and will be back to sample the sweet waffles.
This is a very well organised family place. The waffles are as good as waffles can be and the service is very good. The waiters and managers were very impressive.
Gorgeous toppings! The fact that they offer gluten free, egg and dairy free and certain sugar free options is AMAZING! The GF waffle is so good, best I have ever tasted, and the different options are full of flavour and variet! You can also always have it as a bowl because the toppings are to die for 😍 I had about 4 hot Dutch apple waffles in my time here and I can’t wait to try a few more 💪🏻
I had always wanted to visit this place when in the coast. It certainly didn’t disappoint. They don’t take any bookings, it’s on first come first serve basis. However, there wasn’t a long wait, given the fact that we needed a big table. The service was wonderful, staff visibility at all times. Brought a true meaning to service with a smile. Of course, the waffles were fresh and just perfectly made, worth the drive to Margate.
You have to stop here when down the south coast.

When in Margate. Stopped by for breakfast and loved it. So many topping both sweet and savoury. Definitely one of the best waffle batters out there light, fluffy and crispy belgium waffles. Toppings are generous and there are lite portions if you want to try more than one or share! Its a casual spot, very busy so you may need to queue.
Lovely location. Staff were amazing and knowledgeable. They really marketed the place to us even when we were already in there. Food was served quickly but the portion for the steak and kidney waffle for my husband was small in comparison to my chicken curry portion. For the price, also expected a larger milkshake glass.
Delicious food, great coffee, freshly squeezed juices, kiddies play area... could go on and on. The Waffle House is a must when visiting the area. Beware as during peak holiday times could have lengthy waiting times to get seated however, food is always quite fast.

What a treat! Everything was on point from the moment we walked in. The staff is creme del la creme. Absolutely lovely. The food, OMG 😭 I had the egg and bacon waffle and it was just what I needed. The restaurant was clean and is right next to a lake which works wonders for a calm and peaceful morning.
My only wish is that they add a deep fried chicken option on the menu.

A well-known place on everyone’s lips when visiting Ramsgate. Quite busy, be patient in the search for parking space – but once inside -worth the search. A variety of sweet and meaty waffles to suit even the non-sweet toothed. I'd consider being a surfer. As long as I could live in Ramsgate and eat waffles all the time

This place not only has great food but it also has a great atmosphere with lots of picture perfect sceneries. I visited The Waffle House with my husband & a group of friends. We reside in Durban, so this Eatery was an hour & a half drive away. We woke up super early & started this adventure to see for ourselves what this much talked about restaurant was about – because I mean it serves waffles hence the name, but was it really worth the 90 minutes to get there?

I had an amazing experience here, our waiter was very friendly and the food took only about 15 minutes to come out even though the place was busy. Their food was enjoyable and satifying. One could come here not only for the fantastic vibe and food but also the amazing view.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant and the items that are on the menu. I had a lemon meringue waffle with vanilla ice cream. It was delicious, as expected.

Came during off peak season, food was delicious- had the chocolate brownie special and loved that the chocolate sauce was actual melted chocolate. Partner had Apple Strudel and the apples were beautifully cooked. Sad they don’t do the Horlicks milkshake or the lime milkshake anymore though.
May seem like just a Waffle House but they’re educated. Making the simple but important differentiation between maple syrup and maple flavoured syrup and running a NO STRAW campaign, they’re pretty “woke” for a Waffle House on the south coast. Waffles are crispy and lovely and service fast and efficient

I’ve heard a lot about this place and being the festive season I saw quite a few check ins. I wanted to try this place for a while now and driving for 2 hours to get here and still waiting another 30 minutes or so, I can tell you that this place is worth it. The service was efficient considering they were extremely busy. I tried the chocolate mousse waffle with ice cream and requested that the sauce be served on the side instead of on the waffle and a cappuccino (which was good). The waffle itself was light and had almost like a crispy to it. The chocolate mousse was divine and went very well with the waffle. The ice cream was just okay for me. It wasn’t the best I’ve had but was suitable with the waffle and chocolate mousse together. The chocolate sauce is quite delicious on its on actually and that’s coming from someone who does not like chocolate sauce in general. If I get a chance I would definitely go back.

I had the most delightful experience at the Waffle House.
The waffles are crisp yet soft & fluffy at the same time. The toppings are super delicious & the portion sizes are perfect.
Between a group of us we ordered the Chocolate chip waffle , lemon meringue waffle , macadamia nut waffle , chocolate flake waffle and a chocolate mousse waffle.
The toppings were fresh and all homemade by the Waffle House itself.
The ambience the place gives off is simply wonderful , filled with laughter and happiness.

I came here with my boyfriend and his family, drinks took a very long time to arrive (with no straws avaliable to us) but food arrived soon after.
Service is slow in general and if you come here you can expect a long wait.
The food is extremely good though, I was surprised to find that I even enjoyed the savoury waffles - You will see me here on my next holiday.

Second time visiting this place. Absolutely amazing food and the service too is great... was quite packed for a Monday midday which showed it's popularity on the food. The Waffle House serves the best waffles in Margate! The drive here was well worth it. There is a beautiful view of the river and a crafts store next to The Waffle House. The menu offers both sweet and savoury waffles. Our waiter was friendly. The cappucinno was rich and aromatic. I had the chocolate mousse waffle, which was delicious. The waffles were light and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The ice-cream quality was good. The homemade chocolate mousse was freshly made. I would definitely visit The Waffle House again!

A firm family favourite within my household From start to finish it was a hit ... this visit had my 5yr old order a hot choc and waffle fingers with ice cream and choc sauce ... everything was devoured with her managing to get chocolate on the tip of her nose. My 9yr old ordered an adult size choc chip waffle with ice cream and a coffee shake ... everything finished ... not even a bit left for mom to taste. I had the cheese and salad waffle with a large cappuccino - the salad was refreshing and tasty and the cheese waffle was more than yum ... the cappuccino went down really easily as well. All in all thus visit was a huge hit

I ordered the chai latte to drink and a chocolate chip waffle with ice-cream for my sweet tooth. My brother ordered the Banoffee waffle.
The staff is friendly at the restaurant, and service is super quick. The waffles were warm and the chocolate melted in my mouth. The waffles were crispy on the outside and had a soft texture on the inside.
Definitely a must for anyone with a sweet tooth in the area. On my next visit I'll be going savoury .

I used to think waffles came with syrup and ice cream, but not at the Waffle House in Margate.
You can get them there with syrup and ice cream but the best ones come with scrambled egg, bacon and all the trimmings.
It must be the best breakfast on the South Coast, all this and a view over the lagoon.
What a wonderful place.
Such incredible food and vegan, lactose intolerant and gluten free waffle options - sweet and savory. Even had an amazing soy cappuccino. This will always be a favorite.

Checked out this place while on holiday, we had to wait a while until we got a table. Its very popular I assume. The food and drinks didn't take long to arrive. We were a table of 12 and everyone enjoyed their food thoroughly. The flavours were perfect and portions just the right size. There's something to satisfy everyone.
Stopped by The Waffle House on the way back to Durban from The Wild Coast. The inviting smell of fresh waffles hits you in the car park! And surprisingly the range of waffles are quite extensive . The restaurant was busy but service was quick. A definite must for those passing by✌🏼

Food was good here but the service was not fantastic. We has to wait quite a while for our waiter and started to wonder if he'd gone on a tea break. Staff very friendly though. My kids had the chocolate mousse waffle fingers which they loved. I had the breakfast waffle with bacon and syrup which had a very generous serving of bacon and a whole tomato cut in 2 and grilled.
So my review is a few months late but considering we drove out from Pumula Beach to Ramsgate to try the infamous waffle house, I think it warrants this review (late or not)...to begin with, the place was buzzing, we were lucky to get a table at all. Our waiter was friendly but busy! It gave us time though to debate over whether we should try a savoury or sweet waffle, not that it helped because we wanted everything on the menu! Sweet was a favourite at our table, with only one savoury being ordered. That savoury was eaten by one person (only because he wasn't prepared to share) & the sweets did their rounds at the table. The portions are a nice size and the toppings are generous. It was worth the visit!

Been coming here since I was a child in the 90's and it's one of the places you hope never changes and it didn't. It was exactly how I remember it and I feel I was just as excited over it as I was when I was that little girl exhausted and hungry after a day on the beach ! I have had waffles from around the world and these by far, are the best.
Great place to have breakfast, lunch or just anytime waffles. They definitely make the best waffles on the south coast. The prices are average but the food is superb. They have the most tasteful savoury waffles and the bests sweet waffles
Only issue I had with this restaurant is that they close at 5pm daily which is not nice especially if you want to go out for dinner

Eggless dairy-free sweet and savoury waffles galore! Good quality, consistent, friendly. Pretty location on the lagoon. Only serve ciders, beer and wine though, no spirits. Definitely a must try!

While road tripping we came across this gem in Ramsgate. We lucky we went up one week after the holidays because apparently it can gets quite crazy (a row till outside the door). But that just shows how good it is!
The setting is stunning, right by the beach with view of the sea. If you sit outside you’re on a huge veranda made from rustic wood.
The waffles were spectacular, I could not make up my mind: sweet or savoury?! I had never imagined most of these ingredients on a waffle. Luckily I could go halfies with another person at my table. We ordered the warm poached apple with rhubarb, raisins, a berry coulis and crunchy muesli bits and also the waffle with creamed spinach, eggs and cheese sauce. My other friend had the waffle with sour cream and guacamole. I really wouldn’t know which one tasted the best, it was all great! Being a savoury gal I wouldn’t probably opt for the creamed spinach one if I’m in the neighbourhood again.

Ah-may-zing waffles! You have a choice of savoury or sweet waffles. The breakfast waffles are also served all day. The service was great and and the milkshakes were good too.
We went to the Waffle House during the festive season so the wait (to get seated) was about 45min,but it was so worth it.

We have been going to the Waffle House for years, but we haven't been in Ramsgate for the last 5 years, so with great excitement off we go to the Waffle House, oh! dear how underwhelming now I can't say I was disappointed it was just not as good as I remember and that for me is sad. I felt the actual waffles had no taste the toppings were good. Maybe in years gone by my children small and made it more exciting but they were even let down. Service was fine.

Awesome plekkie on the south coast. Best waffles you will find anywhere, with a great selection of savoury and sweet waffles which all work well, and specials board that changes frequently with appetizing choices. A must visit if your anywhere near the area.
Been back after a few years and nothing has changed, which is good in a way with food, consistency is always key.
We ordered 2 types of waffles : sweet and savory.
On the sweet side of life - the macadamia waffle, choc chip,vanilla and banoffee was our top choices. But overall best goes to the choc chip waffle.
And for the savory - humus and avo waffle, and the breakfast spinach and egg waffle. My favourite hmmmm it's a tie #both was amazing.
I would have given a 5 star 🌟 but the service slacked and had to continuously look for a waiter.

Had a great lunch yesterday! We started with the banana milkshake which was absolutely amazing! I had the pecan nut, banana and butterscotch waffle. I would highly recommend this. The pecan nuts were baked into the waffle, topped with bananas, ice cream and butterscotch. The service was also great.

I never knew there were amazingly deliciously scrumptious heavenly waffles that were better than Milky Lane until I went to the Waffle house. Omg… mind….blown….. The milkshakes were unbelievably delicious. The waffles are even better. The setting is even more amazing!! I could not get enough of this place! PLEASE OPEN ONE IN JHB!!! I will most definitely be your most loyal customer. If you are in the area and you don’t go here, you have failed at life. The service was not the best hence the non-5 star rating.
So I have never ventured away from Milky Lanes' waffles...I mean why would you...they are the gold standard. But wait until you get your teeth into one of these, they are amazing. I am not a savory waffle person so I can just comment on the sweet stuff. Set just off the beach of Ramsgate the waffle hut has not got the best decor...but that's not why we are there. The waffles are top shelf quality and are really filling.

Best waffle restaurant in the county in my opinion. I've been coming here for past 6 or 7 years and each time I'm equally as impressed with the food as well as the service quality. Definitely a 'must visit' if you're in Durban. We drive all the way from Umhlanga to to visit this restaurant and it's always worth it.

Jup... I did it and it was Amazing!!! Had their big breakfast waffle and for some extra magic took the stuffed waffle version (cheese and spring onion) for a extra R20. This was very tasty. The service is very good and speedy, make sure to go early otherwise you'll have to wait because the place in packed full! This is definitely a vacation must do!!!

Had the hummus and avo savory waffle and it was unbelievable. They have some combinations that I have never seen on any menu before. 28 different waffles on the menu without the specials. Sweet, savory and breakfast waffles.
And on top of everything the setting is beautiful, the service above standard and the venue has a really nice vibe as well.
It is definitely worth a visit.... Again and again...

A large cappuccino with whipped cream and a Waffle House Big Breakfast will hit the right spot with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, mushrooms, bacon (there must always be bacon) and the signature waffles that the establishment is known for.
I look forward to coming here again in the near future.

A trip to Ramsagte is incomplete without a visit to the Waffle House. Although it can get very busy the service is excellent and the waffles fantastic! A definate must for anyone visiting Ramsgate.
Whether you want sweet, savoury or gluten free, cream, ice cream or plain, the friendly staff are always ready to make your stay memorable.
A fantastic experience. Never had better waffles...not even in Belgium! Menu is very interesting and the range is great. Don't forget to look at the specials put up on boards for creative alternatives to the printed menu. Oh... and dont go there starving and cranky.... because you WILL wait for a table and for food.... but it is so absolutely worth the wait! Bonus: shaded kids play area and kids colouring activities for the table.

Absolutely delicious food! They are not stingy with the toppings and the waffles are light and crispy! Cute little venue as well. Take a walk down the path through the greens to the beach. Absoultely must if in the area.

Visited last March while staying in Margate on holiday. Absolutely loved this place. Amazing ambience, even more amazing food and fast and friendly service. We had breakfast waffles, one of the kids had a sweet one. Everything was fresh and scrumptious. If ever I'm in the area again, will definitely visit.

Freshly baked with the Perfect golden brown crust and you have a choice of topping.
Toppings to choose from include chocolate mouse, organe mouse, lemon meringue, banana and toffee and much more. You can also add cream or ice cream!
Ample seating available however even with all the available seating, this place is quite popular and gets busy really fast. There is often a waiting list of at least 25 minutes but definitely worth the wait.
While waiting, you can visit the art gallery, curio shop or the circle of resonance!
Really a place worth checking out.
Yummy yummy waffles.... Any topping, savoury or sweet. You pick! Situated by the beach with some sea views this is definitely the place you want to start your day with! They get very busy so try get there early not to be disappointed. Friendly and helpful staff too! We always make sure we visit when we are in the south coast
The Waffle House is amazing for turning out volume at consistently good quality. The queue at the entrance - while long - always deliver shorter than promised results and the service is quick and friendly. The menu is pretty limited but I was very pleasantly surprised by the babootie. Well done management for a well run holiday treat!

The Waffle House has been on my bucket list for at least 10 years. I've been told all these incredible and mystical things about it growing up and this year my Joburger self couldn't wait any longer.
Finally today I went for lunch here and it was incredible. That wait outside in the blazing sun was well worth it! It just blows my mind when I think about what this restaurant does with a waffle. Today I tried both the savory and sweet waffle(YOLO). I had a chicken curry waffle and a chocolate chip waffle with ice cream as well as a berry shake. All three were amazing. I cannot fault the restaurant on anything but the only reason why they don't get a 5-star rating is because I expected my chicken to be more tender(to the point that it pulls apart)and spicy(KZN=Curry=Hot=I need milk>but this was not the case sadly) Also, the curry was poured over a part of the waffle which made it soggy (not cool). I would have preferred it if the curry was served inside a dish on the side of the plate next to the waffle.
*Not the most comfortable chairs as well, but that really doesn't matter because you'll be eating so quickly that you will barely have the time to sit back and take a break-the food is that good!
Nonetheless, I will be visiting The Waffle House again before I head back to Johannesburg, at least to try a few more of their sweet waffles because they are heavenly!
Sweet dreams are made at the waffle house. During peak periods, go after 4pm to avoid the long queues. I had the chocolate chip waffle with ice cream and it was everything bit worth the wait. Do not go past Ramsgate without stopping here 🙆
Wow! These waffles were delicious! Crispy, light, so tasty! We waited 25min to get in. Others waited 45min to 1.5hrs if you are a large group(i.e. 5 and up), we were 4. We had the brownie waffle, chicken curry and a choc mousse. The strawberry milkshake was made of fresh strawberries. Was worth the drive for this fun experience 😊
The drive to south coast was worth as the waffles were AMAZING. Great atmosphere and really good dessert. Service wasn't too good but understandable as it was very busy with a waiting list
This restaurant is a must for waffle lover's. The staff are great and the scenery is beautiful. Not to mention the food is absolutely tasty and full of flavor.
The waffle house is not only a restaurant, but over time it has become a popular tourist attraction and its no wonder! The waffles are soft, fluffy and delicious and the toppings are just to die for! I stuck to classic banoffie which blew my mind and my company had the sweet bananas poached in a citrus sauce and a savoury seared tuna with lettuce and wasabi mayo! All were incredibly good! Their menu is diverse with options to satisfy breakfast, lunch or dinner needs! Whether you want something to satisfy your sweet tooth or something savoury to pig out on, its the place to be! The setting is laid back with the lagoon right on the doorstep. Overall a great highlight to a holiday at the south coast!

What a pleasant experience! We've been to The Waffle House a couple of times before and wasn't always satisfied... But this time we all enjoyed the food and service. The Waffle House has clearly been upgraded in the past two years and it really makes a huge difference! Great breakfast!!

Miserable weather halfway through the day lead my friends and I to take a trip to the waffle house..
This was my first time here and I absolutely loved it!! Food was super delicious and was brought to us very quickly! The bar-one milkshake is also highly recommended.

The location and setup are great and definitely add to the experience of this restaurant. We were a table of 9 and they were not very accommodating about putting together a table. The service was slow and the waiter wasn't at our table very often.
We ordered a few waffles to share. Standouts were definitely the cheesy mushroom from the savoury, and choc chop with ice cream from the sweet. The cheese sauce was amazing. The waffles themselves were good but could be more fluffy. Everyone enjoyed there waffles and had a good time.
Overall we had a nice time and enjoyed good waffles over a pleasant view.
The Waffle House is definitely not to be missed while in Margate/Ramsgate. It's a legendary tourist spot which is known by both locals and tourists alike for its creative sweet and savoury takes on the waffle.
I had the Danish apple waffle which had cooked apples and raisins in a light syrup. Which was delicious although the apples were undercooked and lacked that delicious creaminess of a cooked apple.
The pecan nut, banana and butterscotch was by far the most delicious thing I have ever tried. The pecan nuts were inside the waffle which cut the sweet factor to a point which made it not just bearable, but truly delicious.
I would have given the restaurant a higher rating if the waiter had asked if we would have liked sir juice or freshly squeezed when we ordered juice as I would never have ordered a juice that worked out to over R38 for a 300ml glass, it felt a little cheeky that the juice was at this price to be honest.

A family favorite, we came to this place every holiday as kids and it never disappoints. This time we were lucky enough not to have to queue but the food is awesome as always and the outdoor atmosphere lets you experience both the beach and the "jungle".
Absolutely beautiful setting. Beautiful restaurant and waiters are on their toes as well. Wasn't blown away by their breakfast waffles but will be back to try their savoury waffles. Perhaps that's where the real flavour is.
Waited half an hour to be seated.....bt yeah, definitely worth the wait. Had the banoffee waffle and damn was it good!!!. Bananas were fresh and every bite savoured ......mmmh banoffee 😍
We had an amazing Women's day brunch at The Waffle House. It was rather busy and we had to put our names on a wait list and sit in the sun and wait for 20min which wasn't very nice. And the parking situation was another story. But once we actually got our food it was incredible and worth the wait!
I had the chicken & mayo waffle because I wanted to try a savoury waffle and it was SOOOO delicious! It also came on a bed of greens which was really healthy and yummy! My friends all tried various waffles and noone was disappointed!
Other than the parking and wait times, I am definitely keen to come again! Would highly recommend a visit!☺

Embience is lovely! Great coffee and variety of waffles. The lemon merengue waffle is a must try!! Deeelish! Location near the beach, great for an afternoon walk!
Wow wow wow!! No other way to describe the Waffle House and their epic waffles! Went literally for a quick waffle and sure enough we were in and out fed and happy in under an hour. The mushroom and cheese waffle was recommended by a friend and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. If you are looking for something sweet and light their chocolate chip waffle with cream is perfect just add a little of their syrup and you have magic!

Chocolate mousse waffle - in love. It is such a great concept and a place where no waist line is watched and there are full tummys all around! It is pricy, and often queues but simply divine for a sweet tooth like me.
I'm not a lover of waffles but the Waffle House really changed that! One of the best road trips with my better half and friends to a chilled out place with a beautiful view...was so worth it!

A little piece heaven that is The Waffle House. Nestled among the dense bush that leads to a luxurious beach, The Waffle House is one of the very few luxuries that can be found in Ramsgate on the KZN South Coast.
To end of the long weekend, my family and I stopped there for a sweet and savory bite before our long trek home.
I had a Lemon Meringue waffle which was exactly like the infamous lemon meringue pie but served on a crispy, perfectly toasted waffle instead. The waffle was the base, topped with a sweet and tangy custard and served with a dollop of ice cream and a vanilla meringue. My husband had a Chicken Al La King waffle, something very unusual. The chicken al la King was served in a bowl with 2 pieces of carrot and baby marrow. Being very creamy the waffle created a balance.
Ever since the Waffle House became quite popular, their menu has changed somewhat to cater for the extreme tastebuds and for the boring ones.
Waffles served with chicken curry seemed to be popular as well as the basic choc chip waffle all served with you choice of either cream or ice cream!
The ambience surrounding the restaurant is amazing. It also hosts a trail to the beach, curio shops and an art gallery.
It is a perfect place with an unusual menu to either start of a holiday or end one on a light note.
The Waffle House makes the most amazing waffles and I haven't tasted anything better than their waffles. They offer both savoury and sweet waffles and my favourite of each is the chicken a la king waffle and the chocolate mousse waffle. The service is also very good and waiters are friendly. If you passing through Ramsgate, you must visit this spot.
Consistent standard and good service. My second visit here and entirely satisfied. Prices may be a bit on the high side for a waffle, but certainly well prepared.
Any place that serves rich chocolate sauce in a minature jug is great in my books. The waffles were so fresh and crispy. The location is really cool. The restaurant has a rustic feel which I really enjoyed.
I don't see the hype. I did enjoy a lovely breakfast waffle and my partner enjoyed a sweet banana and ice-cream waffle. I would definitely visit again though.

Ate until we could not eat anymore. Everything was delicious. With good service and friendly staff we had a good experience and relaxing atmosphere.

A Waffle will never be the same.... I had the Hot Banana with caramelized orange. I never take bananas in food but had to try this one, and it was awesome. The atmosphere was nice with our waiter, Innocent knew what he was doing. This restaurant is a must visit!
We first sat outside but I would not recommend this as the heat was just too much as there are no fans in this area. But inside it was pleasant with the fans.
Cozy little place, service was good and the desserts lovely! I do however not like the fact that the bathrooms are situated on the outside, it's a mission if you have small kids and also no changing room for babies.
Another downside is that it closes early at 17h00 pm on a Friday.
Other that that we had a good time.

We got the bacon and syrup waffle. I added cheese and spring onion into my waffle and it was divine!! Everything about the experience was great! I’m coming back tomorrow!
The waffle House never disappoints me. We arrived and were promptly helped to a table with a great view. The waiter Mxolisi was awesome and served us with a smile. Our drinks order was quick and I highly recommend the mango smoothy. Our food arrived in no time at all and was awesome as always. We ordered 4 sweet waffles and they were all tasty and enjoyed by all.
One of the best places I have visited, the variety of different waffle that you can have from sweet to savory is really amazing and the prices are really low for the meal you get

Had a great cup of coffee after a morning walk on the back patio. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Coffee was great. Prices were quite reasonable. The setting is lovely overlooking the river mouth and vegetation with pretty birds and their nests.
