Review Lah-di-dah - Prince Albert

Read the reviews and thought we would give this restaurant a try. Not over the top fancy but great value for money. Very friendly staff and good service, but the place was not busy. We enjoyed toasted sandwiches and everything was very tasty. My milkshake was great and my wife enjoyed the rooibos tea and lemon aid. They also have a garden section which is dog friendly.

Cozy and clean. Wonderful staff. Friendly people. Good food. Affordable prices. This above post was a couple months ago. We went here for supper this week and wow, the food blew us away, the flavor combinations worked so well. Staff are SO friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend to all families with pets and children. Lovely outdoor area for kids to run and play and be kids. I am so impressed !!!

Only had breakfast here but we all enjoyed it, judging by the food quality and the coffee, I bet lunch is as good. Service also good. Certainly seems a very popular option, all the tables were full. Nice small garden outside for kids. No dogs allowed inside the restaurant, I wish more establishments had this rule...

Sjoe, so there were five tables and service was INCREDIBLY slow. It got quite frustrating but super kind and friendly staff. I’m sure they experienced peak traffic when we were there. MASSIVE BONUS: Dog-friendly! 🙌🏻🐶 AMAZING food! Be sure to try their egg Benedict. And their salted caramel milkshake is out of this world: better than what I’ve ever had. 🍳🥛😋 And their ginger-beer!!!! Take me back! I need more! Soooo delicious – tasted like my granny’s. 🍺👌🏻👌🏻

DO NOT have little time when you go here, because even before you enter the funky cofishop, your eyes are drawn to the radiance of colour in their interior...gifts...jams....sauces...hats...hand cream...apricot sweets...old lamps hanging from the ceilings...fresh cool cucumber water to drink...smiling staff...and eventually delicious coffee and food...for sure a place to wind down and just be!!!!

Such delicious food and presented so beautifully. A lovely little store to browse around in while you wait for your food to come. Tasty food and great quality mince.

A lovely place to have breakfast. The food is good and the portions are just right. The staff are friendly too. Also found Belgium chocolate with the most unique wrapping.

As you enter Prins Albert from the Klaarstroom side, Lah-di-dah is on your right hand side and one of the first touristy places in this town where every shop has an unique character. You get welcomed by a tractor that has seen better days and to enter you will walk through two wooden roosters. Inside you can first marvel at handmade crafts. In the restaurant area you have a choice to sit inside or outside. The items on the menu are well priced. There are 🚻 available. Parking should not be a problem and with assistance you should be able to maneuver a wheelchair. Our doggy was also welcomed in the open part of the restaurant.

Best eggs Benedict in Prince Albert, cozy, relaxed atmosphere, interesting curios, sells a lot of local produce. A must stop in the Klein Karoo!

Most of Prince Albert is lovely. This is no exception. Widely recommended by the locals, which is often a good sign. The food and service were great. The chips (fries) were really good. Excellent fig and honey milkshakes too. Small shop attached for those who want a quick browse while they wait for their food.

On our last visit in late December 2021 we had breakfast here once. Great food and good value for money. One evening we decided to order take away Pizza and it was delicious. We called in the order and was phoned back when the order was ready. Great service, People and Pizza

Delicious fresh food!! My husband had the burger and he said it was the best burger he ever had! I had the club sandwich and it was a generous portion of chicken and bacon on a fresh piece of bread with a fresh greek salad! Outstanding food!! This was food from the lunch menu that was served until 17:00. They were fully booked for dinner (on a long weekend) so you should maybe phone if you want to taste their food.. They will definitely see us again!

Sweet little place, quaintly decorated. Has outdoor seating overlooking a lake. Super tasty food.
